Wyndham Tamarindo Bewertungen

Tamarindo is a fun beach town, lots of restaurants and of course the beach. The pros: incredible view, free shuttle to the town, access to the Langosta Beach Club, helpful staff. The cons: location a little far from town, can’t walk it. And the BIG con were the locusts. They were everywhere, especially at night. This are huge (8-10 inch) insects that look like huge grasshoppers. My kids freaked out because these things fly around and land on you sometimes. The Wyndham staff can’t control it, but they are helpful to remove them from your door. If you’re grossed out by large insects, just be aware.

This trip was for my honey moon, the staff was pleasant and helpful. The shuttle service was easy and efficient and the trip to town was less then 5 mins away. The beach club that was attached to the hotel is 6 mins away and prime location in the beach. All the rooms have a beautiful view and would definitely book again even if it is not right in the beach as everything is within walking distance and a taxi ride away (we paid 5$ from center of town to our hotel) the rooms were clean and the ac unit kept the room nice and cool which is refreshing coming in from the humid outdoors. Definitely book again … pura vida

We really enjoyed our stay in at the Wyndham. The view from the hotel (especially the pool) at sunset is breathtaking. The hotel staff was kind and very considerate. They even cut up a pineapple for us that we had brought along from our last place but hadn't had a chance to try. Breakfast was delicious and had plenty of options. The patio was nice and cool in the morning. The pool (and all room balconies) has a great view of Tamarindo beach. Highly recommend the location.

The service was good. The views are amazing. You need either a rental car or a taxi. The hotel rooms are basic, small tiki bar by the pool. I did not eat in the hotel. There were so many places to go on the beach and in town. The hotel is up a steep bump road but well worth the views.

Beautiful views, but the room was spartan. No chairs, no table. Mini fridge with overpriced items, but room to store your own stuff. Music from the pool could be annoying. A long walk from town if you don't have a car.
