This trip was for my honey moon, the staff was pleasant and helpful. The shuttle service was easy and efficient and the trip to town was less then 5 mins away. The beach club that was attached to the hotel is 6 mins away and prime location in the beach. All the rooms have a beautiful view and would definitely book again even if it is not right in the beach as everything is within walking distance and a taxi ride away (we paid 5$ from center of town to our hotel) the rooms were clean and the ac unit kept the room nice and cool which is refreshing coming in from the humid outdoors. Definitely book again … pura vida

We really enjoyed our stay in at the Wyndham. The view from the hotel (especially the pool) at sunset is breathtaking. The hotel staff was kind and very considerate. They even cut up a pineapple for us that we had brought along from our last place but hadn't had a chance to try. Breakfast was delicious and had plenty of options. The patio was nice and cool in the morning. The pool (and all room balconies) has a great view of Tamarindo beach. Highly recommend the location.

The service was good. The views are amazing. You need either a rental car or a taxi. The hotel rooms are basic, small tiki bar by the pool. I did not eat in the hotel. There were so many places to go on the beach and in town. The hotel is up a steep bump road but well worth the views.

Beautiful views, but the room was spartan. No chairs, no table. Mini fridge with overpriced items, but room to store your own stuff. Music from the pool could be annoying. A long walk from town if you don't have a car.

Vue incroyable des chambres et de la piscine. Service de navette pour aller en ville efficace à toutes les heures. L'accès au Beach club est un atout majeure.

Preis und Leistung passen einfach nicht mehr zusammen, wir haben 200 bis 275 EUR pro Nacht gezahlt. Das Frühstück hat den Namen nicht verdient und war einfach nur übel. Der Zustand vom Zimmer war auch Fragwürdig für diese Preiskategorie. Lampen am Bett waren abgebrochen und hingen nur am Kabel, der Deckenlüfter hat starke Geräusche gemacht und trotz nachfrage beim Service Personal und Bestätigung das man etwas unternimmt, wurde nicht repariert. Die Bettwäsche war zwar sauber, aber Bügeln scheint ein zu hoher Kostenfaktor zu sein. Die frischen Handtücher haben unangenehm gerochen und waren steinhart. Die Pool Handtücher hatten eine bessere Qualität und waren dann eine gute Alternative. Der Fußboden im Zimmer wurde nur unzureichend gereinigt, wir mussten immer Schuhe tragen sonst waren die Füße verschmutzt. Die Dusche war erst defekt (Hebel ging ständig ab) und Warmwasser gab es nur morgens, abends und nachts nur leicht warmes Wasser, oft jedoch kalt. Der Ausblick ist ein Highlight, sonst auch ruhig gelegen auf einem Berg ohne Straßenlärm. Auch der Pool war wie beschrieben. Allerdings wieder mit Vermerk das viel Dreck im Pool war trotz täglicher Reinigung. Auch die Lobby war ein Pluspunkt.

Der Transfer zum Beachclub und zum Stadtzentrum war super!

The pool area was gorgeous and clean. Beautiful view of the ocean and sunset. It was a little out of the way - but they offered free shuttle service.

The lobby and pool area are beautiful with a stunning view of the ocean, unfortunately the room and bathroom where very disappointing. The floor of the room was completely filled with dust, we found like four hairs as soon as we first opened the room, and the bathroom looked like it hadn’t gotten maintenance in a few years as everything looked old, the plastic table was yellow and the toilet didn’t flush correctly. Overall it was disappointing to pay for a higher end hotel and get a ran down, dirty room and bathroom.

If you stay here, you’re paying for the location. The pool is large and the views are excellent, but the pool needs to be regrouted. The king bed we stayed in was two twins put together, but one of the box springs sat over an inch lower than the other, so the bed sat lower on one side. Lunch and dinner at Nauta were good, breakfast buffet was mediocre. Staff was very friendly.

The staff was very friendly & willing to answer questions. Our room was the perfect size & the view was stunning. I would recommend this hotel & we'll definitely be back.

The views are incredible. The pool is beautiful. Lots of choices at breakfast. Restaurant prices are reasonable. Shuttle to town and back every hour. There are two ways to walk into town also that are not very far. Beds are comfortable. You are up out of the noise and dust. No complaints.
