Polynesian Cabins by Kon Tiki

Good to stop one night in tahiti with a cheap solution. The rooms doesn’t have windows but the air conditioning is very good and works well. The communes parts are very clean. It cleaned many times on day. Recommend it but not for more 80€ per night.

We are a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids) who stayed one night. We arrived late on a Saturday night into Papeete and stayed 1 night here. We had booked 2 cabins for the 4 of us but unfortunately they were not next to each other or even in the same section of the hotel. The section the other half of my family was in was behind a locked door so we could not open it to even speak to them or get anything out of the suitcase after going to our respective rooms. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were clean. The only other thing was there was a nightclub nearby which was very loud and went on until about 2am that night. It wasn't so much the noise (I had brought earplugs) but more the reverberation of noise from the nightclub, we must have been right above it. Our room was in the middle of the hotel right near the patio area. Anyways, the breakfast was good -we had included it in our stay. Nice choices with breads, jams, yogurt, eggs, coffee, fresh juices, etc. Also the best thing about this place is the location. We were just a 5 minute walk to the ferry terminal which we hopped on the next morning to head to Moorea. Easy peasy!

The place was very clean, the crew very pleasant and welcoming, the whole place is very clean, organised and new. The location in town close to the centre. Breakfast is well , the Coffee place very Nice. The rooftop is the place to be for à Nice drink and watch the sunset. I will recommend 100%

The Polynesian KonTiki capsule size cabins were perfect for a solo traveler like myself. Try to request a room with a bed on the ground (not one in the air that you have to climb a ladder to get into). And the front desk staff were always so helpful and friendly!

If you’re wanting a spot where you’re solely using it to recharge (sleep/nap) and go back out to explore, this is perfect. It’s in a good location and right across the street from the ferry if you’re looking to visit other islands. I booked a single room, no windows, with a queen size bed. Having never stayed in a place like this, I was skeptical of the shared restrooms space but the staff is constantly cleaning this space. I never saw a restroom in bad shape. It also has a place for dinner on the 7th floor and a Reeftop Bar on the 8th floor. On top of the amenities it offers, the staff here are super helpful and friendly. I was slight worried about traveling here solo with the language barrier but they were definitely some of the friendliest people I met while here.

This is a decent Place to stay for a short while. The cabins are small but are good enough. Restaurants and bars are close by including at Level 8 and Level 7 of the hotel. All other amneties are within walking distance. The biggest plus of this Place are their staffs. They are superb and helpful.

Our one-night stay at Kon Tiki was absolutely splendid! The customer service was fantastic. We arrived late in the evening and Neil’s was very welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed. We stayed in the Polynesian cabins, which are indeed small and have a shared bathroom, but it is clean and sufficient for a stay. The best part is the close proximity to the ferry. When we returned from Moorea, we couldn’t find a taxi and we were confident that the staff would help, even though we were no longer staying there. Neils helped us and called us a taxi which was a huge stress relief! 10/10!!
