The customer service was excellent. The location, the food, service, just to mention few. Everything was perfect 👌. Will recommend this hotel 100x to my friends and family. I'll be coming back for sure.

I stayed in Box Hill motel between 3rd of Nov'23 - 5th of Nov'23. My husband and I arrived at Box Hill motel around 12-1pm. We were so exhausted as we took turn driving from Sydney - Melbourne. We drove from Sydney past midnight. Upon calling if we would be let in early, surprisingly it is allowed. Otherwise we would have slept in the car until check-in time if the room isn't ready yet. We got room no.1 and it was very clean. I didn't use the towel as I prefer to use my own towel, my husband also use his own towel. One of the hanging towel though had a snot on it and I put that towel aside despite we didn't use it. There were 3x plates in total and one of the plate was dirty and I assumed previous guest must have used this 1 plate and didn't wash it but instead just slipped it in between the clean plate. We used 2x plates for ourselves but I washed the 3x plates myself. Great Wifi speed too as I was able to complete a little bit of work from Room no.1. My parents always taught me to appreciate and respect people's places. Upon checking out, I saw Carol and OMG, she is so kind, friendly, down to earth and helpful. She was busy rolling people's luggage to their room. I remember my father always taught me the great businessman is not the one who always wanted to be served but the one who knew how to serve others first. There's a saying about ”servant leadership”. A great leader know how it feels to be at the bottom to observe, learn and serving others as well as better appreciate the top and experience various roles to understand the duties and responsibilities of each roles. THANK YOU Box hill motel team and Carol too for allowing us to stay at your beautiful clean and tidy place. We were able to sleep very soundly, hope nobody can hear us snoring :) I highly recommend Box Hill motel, Melbourne to anyone on a trip to Melbourne.

Die Lage des Hotels ist wirklich gut. Es ist super bequem, vom Terminal zum Hotel zu kommen. Die Zimmergröße ist gut für Entpacken und Ihre Sachen für die Reise wiederpacken. Da wir nicht das Frühstück in die Buchung aufgenommen haben. Es gibt 2 Alternativen zum Frühstück: 1. Das Frühstück des Hotels für 35AUD/person 2. Deli Cafe. Wir hatten dort einen Sandwich und Muffin. Es ist schnell und einfach, morgens bereit zu werden.

T'was my third time here and they don't disappoint. Room is clean and sleek. Breakfast is good quality. Toiletries needs to be requested all the time- it's not always convenient especially that you need it daily and you stay for 2 weeks.

Lage: Der Bereich Box Hill, in dem sich das Hotel befindet, ist ein Treffpunkt für Chinesen, sodass Sie vollständig in das häusliche Leben eintauchen können. Das Hotel liegt am U-Bahn-Eingang von Box Hill. Es ist sehr bequem, auszugehen und man kann rund um das Hotel viele Supermärkte sowie viele chinesische Restaurants und chinesische Supermärkte erreichen. Ausstattung: Das Zimmer verfügt über zwei Schlafzimmer und zwei Badezimmer, auch die Ausstattung ist sehr neu. Erwähnenswert ist, dass es sich bei dem Herd tatsächlich um Erdgas handelt, das sich sehr gut zum Kochen chinesischer Speisen eignet. Ausgestattet mit einer kompletten Waschmaschine, Trockner, Küchenutensilien und Toilettenartikeln. Das Zimmer, in dem wir wohnten, lag auf einer oberen Etage und hatte eine sehr gute Aussicht. Obwohl es während meines Aufenthalts in Melbourne windig war, war der Lärm akzeptabel, nachdem ich die Ritzen in der Tür mit einem nassen Handtuch verschlossen hatte. Das Zimmer verfügt über einen Balkon und Fenster, die für gute Belüftung und Beleuchtung sorgen. Service: Ehrlich gesagt handelt es sich bei dem Hotel um eine Apartmentresidenz. Es gibt keinen sogenannten Rezeptionsservice und auch die Öffnungs- und Schließzeiten der Rezeption sind sehr genau. Dadurch konnte ich die Rezeption nachts nicht erreichen, sodass ich keinen besseren Service erwartet habe. Insgesamt ist das Hotel sehr kostengünstig und eignet sich besonders für Familien, da es über zwei Schlafzimmer verfügt. Allerdings liegt das Hotel weit von der Stadt entfernt. Die Fahrt mit der U-Bahn dorthin ist sehr durchschnittlich, sodass Geschäftsreisen etwas unbequem sein werden.

Fantastische Lage. Minuten von der Krone Melbourne und nur über alles im Stadtzentrum entfernt. Woolsworth Supermarkt nur über für Ihre täglichen Bedürfnisse. Die einzige Herausforderung war die Parkplätze Street, wenn Sie keine Parkreservierung hatten. Das Zimmer war neu und raffiniert. Blätter waren sauber, Betten waren komfortabel. Waschmaschine war wirklich hilfreich! Ein Schmerz, dass wir den ganzen Tag Reisen hatten, so hatte ich keine Chance, den Fitness- und Schwimmbad zu nutzen, obwohl sie alle im Preis abgedeckt waren. Wir haben einen herrlichen Blick auf den Hafen!

It would have been good except for the large western facing windows left without blinds down and an electrical setup that turns the air conditioning off when no one is in the room. So we arrived to stifling heat, and an air conditioner that doesn't really cool the bedrooms, and no fans or windows in the main bedroom. Most other things were good, but having a comfortable room is fundamental and the apartment just isn't set up for that. We enjoyed the location and the pool. We can't really speak to service levels cos we didn't ask for, expect or get any. It was a bit frustrating that the hotel only had a booking for 4 adults when we made a booking for 2A+3C on trip.com but who knows who was responsible for that.

Die Lage ist top! Die Straßenbahn hält direkt vor der Tür und die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Während der Osterfeiertage hatten zwar alle lokalen Geschäfte und Restaurants geschlossen, aber das war kein Problem, da wir direkt neben Chinatown wohnten! Die fleißigen Chinesen hatten alle geöffnet, wofür wir super dankbar sind, sonst wären wir wirklich verhungert! Die Zimmerausstattung ist auch sehr gut, die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet. Sehr zufrieden.

Wir haben für diese Reise ein King Standard Hotel reserviert, da wir die Sondergebühr von Trip.com haben. Vor unserer Ankunft erhielten wir eine E-Mail von Trip, die uns aufforderte, eine E-Mail zu schreiben, um eine frühzeitige Eincheckung zu beantragen, da wir auch eine Flugticket durch Trip reserviert. Bei Ankunft im Hotel hoch 9.45 sind wir ein Zimmer (mit sofortiger Verfügbarkeit ) aber mit einer Zahlung von AUD 50 angeboten. Wenn ich für ein Doppelbettzimmer wie üblich King und Doppelbett beantragt, haben die gleiche Rate, aber nicht dieses Hotel. Wenn wir den Bettstil ändern, müssen wir AUD 30/night für 5 Nächte 😅😅Weitere AUD 150 zahlen. Genug für alle Morgenkommunikationen, so dass wir die Bettdetails einfach ignorieren und direkt nach der Zahlung in unser Zimmer gingen. Am Tag, an dem wir uns gemeldet haben, erkannten wir, dass der Voroffizier unsere Hotelgebühren wieder aufladen hat, selbst wenn Trip.com bestätigte, dass alles vollständig bezahlt wurde. Was für ein Geldmaker Hotel!! Frontoffizier sagte uns, dass sie uns den Betrag jedoch zurückzahlen werden. Das Zimmer ist jedoch klein und schön und alles war bis zu international 4 Standard, aber Crown Casino Tower hat ein viel schöneres und größeres Zimmer. Obwohl beide einen erstaunlichen schönen Blick auf den Yarra River wie im beigefügten haben.

Location: The hotel is situated in a very quiet area, perfect for a peaceful getaway. Nights were serene with barely any car noise. It’s about a 10-minute drive to a nearby mall with Coles, Kmart, and other essentials—super convenient. For travelers, it’s around 40 minutes from the airport, which is manageable. Cleanliness: This was a mixed bag. Upon entering, we noticed a burnt iron mark and several purple stains on the carpet. We made sure to report these to reception immediately due to the $300 AUD bond fee, to avoid being held responsible. Being close to a lake or river meant encountering mosquitoes and some large flies. We also found spiders in the bathroom, but we managed to catch and release them outdoors. Towels provided were an issue—one was dirty when we checked in, and even the replacement towel the next day had stains. However, the beds were spotless, which was a relief. Service: The front desk staff were excellent—friendly, thorough, and accommodating. They explained all the amenities, including the location of the gym and pool, and handled our late checkout request graciously. Facilities: Although I didn’t personally use the gym or pool, the in-room facilities stood out. The smart TV was a bonus, with access to YouTube, Disney+, and Prime Video, ensuring entertainment for the family. Room: The two-bedroom apartment was incredibly spacious, with two bedrooms flanking a central living room. Each bedroom had its own bathroom, complete with an exhaust fan to keep the heat out. The beds were the highlight—so soft and comfortable, providing an excellent night’s sleep. Overall: While the initial issues with bugs were unpleasant (I dislike insects), once we cleared them out, the stay became very enjoyable. The spacious layout, serene environment, and cozy beds made it a pleasant experience overall.
