The customer service was excellent. The location, the food, service, just to mention few. Everything was perfect 👌. Will recommend this hotel 100x to my friends and family. I'll be coming back for sure.

Ich blieb im Box Hill Motel zwischen dem 3. November 23 - dem 5. November 23. Mein Mann und ich kamen im Box Hill Motel um 12-1pm. Wir waren so erschöpft, als wir aus Sydney fahren nahmen. Wir fahren vor Mitternacht aus Sydney. Wenn wir früh anrufen würden, ist es überraschend erlaubt. Andernfalls hätten wir im Auto bis zum Einchecken geschlafen, wenn das Zimmer noch nicht bereit ist. Wir hatten Zimmer no.1 und es war sehr sauber. Ich habe das Handtuch nicht verwendet, weil ich lieber mein eigenes Handtuch, mein Mann auch sein eigenes Handtuch. Einer der hängenden Handtücher hatte aber einen Schnur auf sie und ich legte das Handtücher weg, obwohl wir es nicht verwendeten. Es gab insgesamt 3x Platten und eine der Platten war schmutzig und ich vermutete, vorherigen Gast muss diese 1 Platte verwendet haben und nicht waschen, sondern nur zwischen dem sauberen Platte schleifte es. Wir haben 2x Platten für uns selbst verwendet, aber ich habe die 3x Platten selbst gewaschen. Auch mit großer Wifi-Geschwindigkeit konnte ich ein wenig Arbeit von Zimmer no.1 abschließen. Meine Eltern haben mich immer gelehrt, die Orte der Menschen zu schätzen und zu respektieren. Als ich auscheckte, sah ich Carol und OMG, sie ist so freundlich, auf die Erde und hilfreich. Sie war beschäftigt, die Gepäck der Menschen in ihr Zimmer zu rollen. Ich erinnere mich, dass mein Vater mir immer gelehrt hat, dass der große Geschäftsmann nicht derjenige ist, der immer gedacht war, zu dienen, sondern derjenige, der zuerst die anderen zu dienen wusste. Ein großer Führer weiß, wie es sich an der Unterseite fühlt, andere zu beobachten, zu lernen und zu dienen, sowie besser die Spitze zu schätzen und verschiedene Rollen zu erleben, um die Pflichten und Verantwortlichkeiten jeder Roles. Danke Ihnen Box Hill Motel Team und Carol auch, um uns in Ihrem schönen sauberen und zeitgenössischen Ort zu bleiben. Wir konnten sehr gesund schlafen, hoffentlich kann niemand uns schnüren :) Ich empfehle Box Hill Motel, Melbourne, jedem auf einer Reise nach Melbourne.

Die Lage des Hotels ist wirklich gut. Es ist super bequem, vom Terminal zum Hotel zu kommen. Die Zimmergröße ist gut für Entpacken und Ihre Sachen für die Reise wiederpacken. Da wir nicht das Frühstück in die Buchung aufgenommen haben. Es gibt 2 Alternativen zum Frühstück: 1. Das Frühstück des Hotels für 35AUD/person 2. Deli Cafe. Wir hatten dort einen Sandwich und Muffin. Es ist schnell und einfach, morgens bereit zu werden.

I recently stayed at Quality Hotel Westmeadows for the second time and once again I wasn't disappointed. The whole process was seamless, from choosing my standard of room to phoning them on my arrival at Melbourne airport and phoning for their complementary shuttle bus service I had a 10 minute wait for the nice shuttle bus driver and when you arrive at reception after a 5 minute trip you are greeted by the most friendly team. My room poolside was absolutely spotless and had everything I needed for the night. It was also very quiet despite being close to a busy road. I had buffet breakfast which had a good selection plus surprisingly good coffee from a little machine. I had a very pleasant chat with the lovely lady who runs the buffet. Just a quick 5 minute walk up the road are a few good eateries and a little further along a couple of fast food places. I really can't fault the place or the staff and confidently recommend it to anyone wanting the convenience of a place to stay close to the airport at a good price.

Auf 24/6 Ich bestellte frisch gefüllte Eier während des Frühstücks, aber die Qualität der Eier war nicht bis zu Standard, York war nicht normal und mit keinem Geschmack überhaupt, aber ich bestellte am nächsten Tag auch mit einem anderen Koch, das war wieder zu einem normalen Ei, Ich frage mich, ob Sheraton diese Qualität der Eier nutzen würde! Eine weitere Meinung ist, dass die Fitness-Zimmerausstattung nicht ausreicht, danke!

The Highlights 1. The location of this hotel is second to none. Right outside the door, you’ll find endless food options from quick bites to diverse international cuisines, plus plenty of cafés, bars, and public transport. Having the SkyBus stop to the airport just around the corner was convenient. 2. Every team member I met was friendly, approachable, and genuinely eager to help. They are well-trained and motivated to provide excellent service. 3. The room itself was spacious and modern. Both the daytime city views and night lights from the window were wonderful, and the furnishings felt new and well-maintained. 4. Guests have access to some excellent facilities, including a gym, a library, and a full wellness area. The indoor pool is comfortably heated even on a chilly Melbourne evening, and it comes with a sauna and bubble spa, which makes the stay feel more like a resort. What Could Be Improved 1. The room setup felt unusual. I booked a one-bedroom suite, but was placed in a two-bedroom apartment with the master bedroom locked off. I completely understand that I only paid for one room, but it felt a little strange knowing there was a part of “my” room I couldn’t access. Personally, I would have preferred a proper one-bedroom layout with full access. 2. The bedroom I was 'allowed' to stay in also didn’t have its own air conditioning. It relied on the living room’s unit to keep cool, while the locked-off master had its system. This design made things a bit uncomfortable at times, especially overnight. 3. The sofa had an unpleasant, urine-like odour, which made us reluctant to rest in the lounge. 4. The main door lock was rusty and stiff, making it frustrating to open and close. 5. There was no landline phone in the room to contact reception, so the only option was to head downstairs. A couple of times, even during office hours, the reception was unattended (likely because one staff member was juggling multiple tasks). It could be so inconvenient to have a more extended stay. 6. While the pool facilities were lovely, they were often crowded. The common facilities are shared with residents of the building as well as hotel guests, but this detracted from the relaxing vibe. Would I stay here again? Yes, probably. Mainly because of the unbeatable location, the great facilities, and the friendly staff. But I do think the hotel needs to address the details so that it can align with what they claimed as 'luxury'.

It would have been good except for the large western facing windows left without blinds down and an electrical setup that turns the air conditioning off when no one is in the room. So we arrived to stifling heat, and an air conditioner that doesn't really cool the bedrooms, and no fans or windows in the main bedroom. Most other things were good, but having a comfortable room is fundamental and the apartment just isn't set up for that. We enjoyed the location and the pool. We can't really speak to service levels cos we didn't ask for, expect or get any. It was a bit frustrating that the hotel only had a booking for 4 adults when we made a booking for 2A+3C on trip.com but who knows who was responsible for that.

Das Zimmer war in Ordnung. Wir waren mit der Familie unterwegs und da wir nicht viel Zeit im Hotel verbrachten, haben wir dort nur eine Nacht geschlafen. Das Bett war groß genug; es reichte für unser Kind. Die Klimaanlage im anderen Zimmer, das ich gebucht hatte, war defekt. Die Reparatur dauerte etwas, und ein Zimmerwechsel wäre die schnellste Lösung gewesen, aber die Rezeption hatte keinen Plan und informierte uns auch nicht über verfügbare ähnliche Zimmer.

Die Lage ist sehr praktisch, da das Zentrum von Melbourne nur 10 Gehminuten entfernt ist. Die RMIT University und die Straßenbahnhaltestelle Swanston befinden sich direkt vor dem Hotel. Leider hatten wir nicht genügend Zeit, Pool und Sauna zu nutzen, da diese nur von 7:00 bis 21:00 Uhr geöffnet sind. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Ich wusste nicht, ob Zimmerservice angeboten wird. In der vierten Nacht unseres Aufenthalts, nach einem Tagesausflug, stellten wir fest, dass die Reinigungskraft unser Zimmer ohne unsere Erlaubnis betreten und gereinigt hatte. Stellen Sie sich vor, was passiert wäre, wenn unsere Sachen verloren gegangen wären – hätte das Hotelmanagement den Verlust tragen können? Bitte betreten Sie die Zimmer nicht ohne vorherige Absprache. Gäste, die den Service in Anspruch nehmen möchten, fragen selbst nach der Zimmerreinigung.

Location: The hotel is situated in a very quiet area, perfect for a peaceful getaway. Nights were serene with barely any car noise. It’s about a 10-minute drive to a nearby mall with Coles, Kmart, and other essentials—super convenient. For travelers, it’s around 40 minutes from the airport, which is manageable. Cleanliness: This was a mixed bag. Upon entering, we noticed a burnt iron mark and several purple stains on the carpet. We made sure to report these to reception immediately due to the $300 AUD bond fee, to avoid being held responsible. Being close to a lake or river meant encountering mosquitoes and some large flies. We also found spiders in the bathroom, but we managed to catch and release them outdoors. Towels provided were an issue—one was dirty when we checked in, and even the replacement towel the next day had stains. However, the beds were spotless, which was a relief. Service: The front desk staff were excellent—friendly, thorough, and accommodating. They explained all the amenities, including the location of the gym and pool, and handled our late checkout request graciously. Facilities: Although I didn’t personally use the gym or pool, the in-room facilities stood out. The smart TV was a bonus, with access to YouTube, Disney+, and Prime Video, ensuring entertainment for the family. Room: The two-bedroom apartment was incredibly spacious, with two bedrooms flanking a central living room. Each bedroom had its own bathroom, complete with an exhaust fan to keep the heat out. The beds were the highlight—so soft and comfortable, providing an excellent night’s sleep. Overall: While the initial issues with bugs were unpleasant (I dislike insects), once we cleared them out, the stay became very enjoyable. The spacious layout, serene environment, and cozy beds made it a pleasant experience overall.
