Ein wirklich tolles Hotel mit geräumigen Zimmern und einem tollen Frühstück. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und stets hilfsbereit. Das Restaurant im Haus bietet auch gute Küche zu fairen Preisen an und sogar der Roomservice kostet (bis auf vielleicht ein Trinkgeld) nichts extra. Parkplätze gibt es ausreichend direkt vor der Tür und mit dem Auto ist man schnell in Suceava. Ich habe nichts negatives zu berichten - eine klare Empfehlung!

We stayed at this hotel on our way back and forth from Ukraine. It was excellent in every way! Comfortable beds and pillows of different sizes. Quiet and the women at the desk were wonderful! My husband enjoyed the breakfast buffet. They also arranged for taxis for us.

We had booked an executive suite which was spacious with a separate lounge area and a whirlpool bath. It was supposed to have a view of the garden but unfortunately there was a flat roof in the way. There is no lift and there are lots of stairs which would make it very difficult if you are not very mobile. There didn’t seem to be any staff to assist with luggage. The outside terrace area was very pleasant either for an afternoon drink or dinner. Choice at breakfast wasn’t too bad but the eggs on the buffet were always cold. Despite the fact that the hotel never seemed to be very busy the car park was always full and very difficult to find a parking space.

Very good hotel with a great breakfast, excellent restaurant with large outdoor area, nice large rooms and a helpful reception. Everything worked in the rooms, service in the restaurant was professional. Only one fun fact: nobody speaks German. The name is just a reference to the Austro Hungarian past.

Very nice and clean hotel. Checkin was very quick and professional. Mrs Adriana was very polite. Room was big and comfortable bed. Breakfast has lots of fresh local food as well as international. We had dinner also in the hotel and it was delicious. Kindly recommend

This is a very nice hotel with a high level of service. If you have a car or a driver/guide the hotel makes a restful oasis after a day of sightseeing. It is a bit out of town if you don’t have transport. The staff is very nice, everything is clean and modern, the restaurant is excellent with a very pleasant garden area. Breakfast had a good variety of offerings . The A/C wasn’t very strong which might present a problem during summer. No coffee/tea facilities in the room.

Average stay at Sonnenhof Suceava No coff/tea making facilities. Curlies in the bathroom. Paper cups instead of glasses or china cups. Really? Is this genuinely a four star hotel? Nice reception staff especially the blonde one and Ecaterrina. Cheap looking artificial ‘grass’ at the entrance. Why, oh why? Cheap looking box of tissues, just like McDonalds

All amenities at this hotel are very good. Rooms are well appointed with a small gym for the size of the hotel. Very good food all round. Staff are willing to help and friendly. I will definitely go back to this hotel anytime I’m back in Suceava.

We spent 2 nights here and were very happy with everything. The rooms are well kept and planned and the food was good. The staff were helpful and spoke good English which made the visit even better. Close to amazing attractions!

We have just completed a two week stay at this hotel while participating in humanitarian efforts at the Ukraine/Romania border. Our reservation was quickly located when we checked in and amenities explained. We were soon on the way to our room on the third floor. Our room was spacious with twin beds, desk, large sitting chair, and tub/shower combination. Our room faced the road and we did occasionally hear traffic noise but nothing significant. The hotel has a restaurant and breakfast was included in our rate. The breakfast was wonderful with an assortment of hot dishes (eggs, sausage, bacon, and potatoes. There was also a good assortment of vegetables, cold cuts, breads, cereals, and beverages. We had several meals in the restaurant in the evening due to our schedule making this an attractive option. Dishes were assorted, cooked as ordered, and large portions. As good as this all sounds so far, what made our stay so exceptional was the staff. Everyone we came in contact with during our stay went beyond our expectations! Everyone was helpful, efficient, and very pleasant to deal with. Great work ethic on display! The hotel has a free large parking area around the hotel and a space was always available. This stay was very good and we would definitely return.
