Toll eingerichtetes und sauberes Haus in abgelegener Lage.
Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.
Das Zimmer war sehr sauber (sogar der Teppichboden).
Essen im Restaurant sehr lecker.

Firstly this place is excellent value for money. The room was large and lavish in a old world charm. The four poster bed just added that little bit of elegance. The robes were and nice touch and the water and coffee machine a welcome addition. The breakfast is a little bit of a let down when you can see the "paying public" getting eggs benedict etc but it isn't on the hotel menu. Both occasions I have stayed as well there has been a continental buffet on the menu but nothing available. The staff though a very friendly, helpful and courteous. The grounds are beautiful and its relaxing to sit in the garden bar. It may not have the pull of the spa break hotels but definitely worth a visit.

Fabulous Easter Sunday lunch at the Barton Rooms Restaurant at Barberstown Castle hotel. Delicious food and wonderful service. Special thanks to Ronni Carvalho. He’s an absolute gem! And ensured we were well looked after. Highly recommended.

We booked the Elizabethan Suite for the family after my Aunts funeral. We were struggling to find somewhere really nice as it was my Aunts wish to bring family and friends to a nice place. My husband met Phillipa who was lovely to deal with and she organised a meal for us in our own private room. The room was beautiful, the food was amazing and the staff were friendly and efficient. Considering we only booked it the day before, it was so nice. It meant a lot to us to be able to fulfill my Aunts wishes and the hotel certainly made what was a sad occassion, into a lovely family gathering.

Booked in for the fine dining experience to celebrate the wife’s birthday. It was an amazing experience and a great location, the food was delicious, special thanks to Ronnie C for the excellent hospitality. We look forward to exploring the other dining rooms and are already looking for an excuse to go there again with friends and family.

6 of us (4 Adults, I teenager and 1 10 year old) enjoyed dinner at Barberstown and Castle Hotel and it and it was wonderful. I opted for Fillet of Salmon and it was succulently delicious. The ambience of the room is beautiful and warm. During our dinner experience we met Luke, Áine, Nazir and Amy, who were not only friendly and welcoming but outstandingly efficient too. Many thanks Áine, Amy, Luke and Nazir for making it a memorable and enjoyable visit.

Garden Bar was the ideal venue for dinner with my 12 girl cousins, on my trip home from the US. Lovely place, out in the country, with no traffic issues and lots of easy parking. The staff were very accommodating, particularly as 2 of our party were 45 minutes delayed. We had a warm cosy night at a lovely table beside a big window, in the corner of the room. Food was delicious and hot. The gentleman who mostly looked after us was excellent and happy to attend to the various requests of 13 ladies! Some of the decor, especially in the reception area was a bit glittery and sparkly for me. One of my party mentioned that the restrooms were not very nice.

We spent a lovely weekend in Barberstown Castle Hotel! We attended a wedding, the venue was really beautiful, the food was delicious and the staff was so very helpful. The next evening we stayed for dinner and the food was even better. The bar and restaurant are very atmospheric and the decor stunning! The staff are an absolute pleasure, nothing is too much. We booked a room with a four poster bed, which was comfortable and had an old-fashioned luxury feel. The only thing that, in my opinion, could be better is that the bedroom and bathroom could do with a little TLC.. quite a few things were broken. But that said, we had a fantastic time and would happily stay there again!
