Das Hotel befindet sich im Loop-Bereich und der Sicherheitskoeffizient ist relativ hoch. Die geografische Lage ist hervorragend, nahe dem Chicago-Fluss, das Segelschiff ist sehr bequem. Zu allen Attraktionen ist es sehr bequem, ob es sich um einen Kilometer oder um ein Millennium Park handelt, das Chicago Kunstmuseum kann zu Fuß gehen. Der Hotelservice ist noch verfügbar, es gibt keine eigene Waschbecken, aber es kann auf der Rezeption gefordert werden. Es muss daran erinnert werden, dass man beim Auswahl des Zimmers das Zimmer ohne Frühstück wählen sollte. Die sogenannte Frühstücksblockade ist ein $20-Gutschein für Sie, zum ersten Stock des Restaurants essen, aber $20 kann nicht ein gutes Frühstück essen und muss auch eine kleine Gebühr zahlen. Der Schlüssel ist: Eine Zimmer ohne Frühstück kann fast ohne frühzeitige und nicht frühzeitige Differenz reserviert werden. Das ist das zweite Mal, dass mein Mann und ich bei Eurostars verblieben! Wir leben dieses Hotel für seine Nähe zu vielen Geschäften, Restaurants, touristischen Attraktionen, Supermärkten, Bars. Ich liebe, dass sie eine Sauna verwenden, wann immer ich eine Entgiftung benötigen. Das Zimmer ist geräumig und das Personal ist super freundlich und untergebracht! Das ist ein so verstecktes Geschirr und mein Hotel gehen, wenn ich Chicago besuche! Gehen Sie sicher zu ihrem Restaurant unten, das im Hotel (River North Bistro) für Happy Hour liegt!!!!

Overall, I had a very good stay at this hotel. The room was comfortable, and I really liked the filtered water station on our floor. It had several options and was very convenient. Guest services were excellent. Anytime we made a request, they handled it quickly and professionally. After the first night, housekeeping took our towels but didn’t replace them, so we had to call and ask for more. Thankfully, after that, we didn’t have any other towel issues. Housekeeping overall was a bit different than what I’m used to. They made the beds and handled the bathroom by emptying the trash, picking up dirty towels, and refilling tissues, but they didn’t take out the trash in the main room. Since we had a lot of takeout, that trash piled up pretty quickly. They also didn’t replenish items like used tea bags or glassware, which would’ve been helpful. We also had an issue with the fridge. It stayed warm for the first few days until we realized it hadn’t been turned on. Once we figured that out, it worked fine, but it would’ve been nice if it had been checked before we arrived. The hotel is in a beautiful location, which added to the overall experience. Despite the few small issues, the staff was friendly and responsive, and the positives definitely outweighed the negatives. I would absolutely book with them again!

Be careful, there is a hidden charge ”A $25 daily urban experience fee will be charged to each room” at this hotel Fairmont Chicago - Millennium Park. The breakfast charge is very tricky if you have prepaid. 1st you have to argue that you have prepaid for the breakfast for each person in the room. 2nd you need to ask and confirm with the front desk how much the credit is for the breakfast you have paid (my case $38 for each person daily, covers taxes and tips). It is not buffet breakfast, you need to pay extra when you check out if you have ordered more than your credit for the breakfast. When I asked that if I missed one breakfast, can I use the extra credit for the next day. The answers were different from different staff members. A very expensive hotel focusing on big conferences, there are no microwave oven, empty refrigerator (you can request) in the room and swimming pool. Do not lift up the drinks and snacks in the box on the table (there are sensors underneath) unless you don't mind to be charged. The existing refrigerator is full of drinks. I was afraid to touch it, even the concierge didn't know how to open the refrigerator lock. But the coffee and tea are free. There is a person (not housekeeper) comes to the room to check and refill all the drinks and snacks including the free ones. We booked our room many weeks earlier, after we checked in I realized that the room prices dropped comparing our original prices, maybe not enough conference people attending. Das Valet-Team war sehr hilfreich und nett. Der Front Desk schien nicht zu Familienfreundlich. Es war enttäuscht, dass es keine Mikrowelle im Hotelzimmer gab. Mit dem Preis des Zimmers pro Nacht, ich erwartete, dass ich am Ende der Nacht etwas Popcorn Mikrowelle zu können. Zimmer mit Blick auf die Erdbeben bedeutete, wir mussten auf die Rückseite anderer Gebäude zu schauen. Wir hatten keinen Internetservice im Hotel und mussten Hotel-WLAN für $10 pro Nacht kaufen.

Die Zimmer sind passabel, im Hostel-Stil, was Größe und Einrichtung angeht, angemessen und zweckmäßig. Die Lobby und die öffentlichen Bereiche sind recht komfortabel. Das Beste ist die zentrale Lage – man kommt überall leicht hin, was mir besonders gut gefallen hat. Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Excellent location with access to red and blue lines and bus networks. And in the centre of the city. A character building with spectacular internal decor. Especially popular with conferences. Room was spacious and included two doubles with usual amenities though we did have to ask for a kettle. Staff very friendly and check in was seamless despite being busy. Two niggles included a $25 daily fee that could be offset by discounts in various parts of the hotel. Though for us it was a tax as we did not want the discounted services. Also cleaning services invariably wanted to service the room when we were in it. Attempts to renegotiate cleaning times did not work and in the end we timed our absence from the room to when cleaners would want to clean room. A very good experience for us nevertheless.

So etwas habe ich noch nie erlebt. In meinem ganzen Leben habe ich Unterkünften kaum zwei Sterne gegeben, ehrlich gesagt würde ich am liebsten nur einen Stern vergeben, aber die Bewohner sind freundlich und nett, deshalb gebe ich ihnen einen Stern mehr. Die Lage ist wirklich praktisch, die Zimmer sind super sauber und ordentlich. Die schwarze alte Dame an der Rezeption ist jedoch sehr gemein und unhöflich und hat versucht, mich beim Einchecken zu schikanieren. Ihre Serviceeinstellung ist so, als wäre sie Gast, ich bin Mitarbeiter, und ich schulde ihr auch Geld. Nach dem Einchecken bin ich total niedergeschlagen und sehe keinen Grund, warum ich fast 400 Dollar pro Nacht bezahle, um so behandelt zu werden. Wenn Sie nach Chicago kommen, kann ich dieses Hotel nicht empfehlen, oder wenn Ihnen das Hotel gefällt, Sie aber nicht samstags zwischen 11 und 13 Uhr einchecken!

I was to pay 117 at check in per room. Hotel made me par 285 for something I didn’t have time to use which was tickets to attractions and that fee included a fee for checking out. ..49 a room for coupons snd 65 per room check out fee. Our car was too tall for the 85.00 a night parking but the garage at the corner only charged 58.00 a night. I wouldn’t recommend driving downtown Chicago unless you like being stressed out. I’m asking trip.com to reimburse the difference between the 117 and 185.
