4-Sterne-Hotels in Chania

We had a wonderful stay, starting with the warm welcome from the owner, with lots of tips for our visit to Chania. It is a charming historical building in a central location in the old town, a short walk from the harbour, in a quiet side street. We had a spacious and well-equipped room with a very comfortable bed, some lovely complementary wine, other drinks in the fridge, as well as fruit and chocolates. Our room had a small, private balcony but we also had access to the wonderful roof terrace - a green oasis with views across the town. Highly recommended!

Our stay at Selected Suite was simply perfect! The location is amazing, and the room itself is unbelievable, everything brand new, with stunning design and incredible comfort. The space is large, with a beautiful terrace, a huge shower, and modern detail, the steam room was a big bonus after a long day.  Honestly, the decoration is so impressive I could happily live here. Everything was spotless every single day, it’s honestly one of the cleanest places I’ve ever stayed. I felt so comfortable that I never wanted to leave. The team even prepared a wonderful birthday surprise for my partner, which made our stay extra special. Parking was very easy, the reception is available at all times and always helpful, and the cleaning ladies are just fantastic, smiling, kind, and doing an excellent job. A very special thank you to Ayu, who was absolutely adorable and made our stay unforgettable with her kindness and warmth. I recommend this place 100%! I cannot wait to come back. Honestly, I couldn’t find a single thing to improve everything was truly perfect.

Fabulous experience at this hotel. Impeccable service throughout my 4 days here, and the room was spacious and lovely ! Breakfast was filling , everything was amazing. Wished I could stay a few more days here. Will definitely come back if I visit Crete

Absolutely stunning place in a perfect location just a short stroll along the sea front to the historic old town of Chania and the Venetian Harbour. In the other direction an even shorter stroll to the harbour and Nea Chora beach - which has a ton of bars shops and restaurants. Property is directly on the seafront in a real tranquil location - with a beautiful pool and incredible sea views everywhere you stood. The staff were fantastic and even contacted me on WhatsApp prior to my stay to arrange my check in. Had my room ready early - which was fabulous. I was incredibly lucky to have a suite with a hot tub right on the sea front - beautifully decorated, fresh, clean and the views from the balcony were incredible. I believe breakfast is included for all guests, which was lovely with a wide variety of hot and cold food drinks and pastries. The only criticism is of myself that I didn’t stay longer. I would come back in a heartbeat!

The stay was perfect exactly like we expected. We came by car and Christina was very helpful. She explained to us where we can park. The room was really nice. I really like how they changed those tiny places to really nice and cozy rooms. The breakfast was good. The people are really welcome in the Location is perfect. It’s just like few steps to the main port.

Reception staff were super friendly and helpful. Room was good, we got a free upgrade, which moved us to another one of their other hotels (Corissia Princess Hotel) which was nice. Housekeeping could have been more thorough, we left the towels on the bathroom floor and they were not replaced. They also did not replenish tea bags. However reception is quick to rectify. Hot water went out one of the days which was annoying but maintenance was quick to fix it. Pools, beach chairs, private beach area looked great, however we did not get the chance to use them as the weather was not great and the indoor pool closed around 7pm. Breakfast was good and the location was nice (not connected to hotel)

Epas and the team at Elizabeth Suites are amazing. Highly recommend staying at this immaculate property when in Chania. You will have ample parking and only a short 5 min drive to city centre. Apartments are spacious and very clean and comfortable. Do youself a favour and stay here it's a top choice in a maze of options!

Room was very clean and spacious. The facilities are modern and the pool overlooking the sea is amazing with stunning views. The hotel is a little out of town which is great to avoid the hustle and bustle but does require a taxi or a short walk from the end of the bus line. We would stay here again.

Das Hotel ist als vier Sternenbewertung in der Tat bezeichnet. Die Halle und das Restaurant im zweiten Stock sind sehr schön und der elegante Raum ist großartig. Das Zimmer ist auch gut. 22 Quadratmeter sind auch im Grunde kompatibel. Die Bettvorrichtungen sind sehr komfortabel. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut, es gibt viele Varianten, der Service ist großartig, die rote Schale ist eine Person, eine Flasche Wasser, eine Tasse Tassen, die den Sitz übergeben, und der Kaffee wird auch auf den Tisch gestellt. Der Tisch ist zwei Stockwerke, die geflogen sind. Dieser Service sollte ein fünf-Sterne-Hotel sein, das Cocaton Hotel hat es auch für Sie getan. Es ist großartig. Die Gepäckspeicherung nach dem frühen Ankunfts- und Ausreisezeiten ist auch sehr behutsam. Der Rezeption-Service ist sehr enthusiastisch und beantwortet geduldig die Fragen der Konsultation. Die Lage ist gut, gerade gegen ein alter Gebäude in Kenia, (das Gebäude wird neu errichtet, kann ein touristisches Zentrum sein) in die alte Stadt mit 2～ 300 m, sehr bequem. Zwei Tage bleiben, der Preis ist wert. Das einzige, was sich verbessern wert ist, ist, dass das Papier unter dem Gesichtsschrank gelegt wird, das nicht sorgfältig gefunden werden kann. Der Spa-Bereich mit Hamam, Sauna und Innenpool (nur 1 m tief?!) ist das Highlight des Hotels. Da es keinen direkten Strandzugang gibt, bin ich nach Nea Hora und zum Golden Beach gefahren. Die Zimmer sind zu klein, bieten zu wenig Stauraum, die Bedienung ist kompliziert und die Konsole unnötig umständlich. Obwohl ich ein Zimmer im zweiten Stock hatte, war es ruhig. Die Beschilderung im Hotel ist insgesamt verwirrend. Betten und Kissen sind riesig und bequem. Das Essen ist ausgezeichnet. Die Massage war in Ordnung. Die Pflegeprodukte sind gut. Nur die Zimmer mit Meerblick kosten das Zehnfache! Ansonsten hat man nur Blick auf eine Mülltonne! 😤 Das À-la-carte-Frühstück ist viel zu langsam, man isst zu wenig, es gibt ständig Missverständnisse … und nachdem man bestellt hat, wird die Speisekarte einfach weggenommen … Der Pool auf dem Dach ist eine Abzocke! Die Liegen sind ständig belegt und man muss sie reservieren, um den Sonnenuntergang zu sehen 🙄 Es gibt zwar noch eine Dachterrasse im 7. Stock, aber nach zehn Minuten will man sie nur noch verlassen, da es dort weder Duschen noch einen Pool, eine Toilette oder eine Bar gibt… Das Personal ist jung, gekünstelt höflich, viel zu langsam und wenig hilfsbereit – offensichtlich auf bestimmte Gästetypen (kulturell unerfahren) geschult. Selbst um einen Spind im Spa zu bekommen, musste man warten, bis einem erklärt wurde, wie man ihn öffnet (und einen Test bestehen?!), obwohl zwei Personen an der Rezeption waren. Meine Kaffeekapseln, der Süßstoff und die Tees wurden am nächsten Morgen beim Reinigungsservice nicht aufgefüllt, und ein benutztes Glas wurde nicht gespült. Der Balkonpool ist winzig und voller Flusen von der Straße. Außerdem fühlte ich mich unwohl, ihn zu benutzen, da er von der Straße und dem gegenüberliegenden Gebäude aus einsehbar war. Um 21:30 Uhr wurde ich angerufen (ich schlief doch schon?!), um zu fragen, ob ich mit der kostenlosen 30-minütigen Massage zufrieden sei (wegen der schlechten Aussicht vom Zimmer)… 🤷🏼‍♀️ Ich verstehe, dass es ein neues Hotel ist und sie sich Mühe geben, aber ich habe über 800 € für zwei Nächte bezahlt und war die Hälfte meines Aufenthalts frustriert… 😒 Ich habe eine Ausbildung im Bereich Tourismus und Hotelmanagement gemacht, als Masseurin gearbeitet und vor 30 Jahren in 5-Sterne-Hotels in Chania gearbeitet. Seitdem habe ich in unzähligen 4- und 5-Sterne-Hotels weltweit übernachtet, insbesondere in Asien, wo der Service erstklassig ist. Daher ist das alles für einen so hohen Preis nicht akzeptabel. Ja, der Begrüßungsdrink ist nett, und die kostenlose Massage auch, aber Hilton, da geht noch mehr!
