CCourtneyOur stay at Selected Suite was simply perfect! The location is amazing, and the room itself is unbelievable, everything brand new, with stunning design and incredible comfort. The space is large, with a beautiful terrace, a huge shower, and modern detail, the steam room was a big bonus after a long day. Honestly, the decoration is so impressive I could happily live here.
Everything was spotless every single day, it’s honestly one of the cleanest places I’ve ever stayed. I felt so comfortable that I never wanted to leave. The team even prepared a wonderful birthday surprise for my partner, which made our stay extra special.
Parking was very easy, the reception is available at all times and always helpful, and the cleaning ladies are just fantastic, smiling, kind, and doing an excellent job. A very special thank you to Ayu, who was absolutely adorable and made our stay unforgettable with her kindness and warmth.
I recommend this place 100%! I cannot wait to come back. Honestly, I couldn’t find a single thing to improve everything was truly perfect.

JJimmibobAbsolutely stunning place in a perfect location just a short stroll along the sea front to the historic old town of Chania and the Venetian Harbour. In the other direction an even shorter stroll to the harbour and Nea Chora beach - which has a ton of bars shops and restaurants. Property is directly on the seafront in a real tranquil location - with a beautiful pool and incredible sea views everywhere you stood. The staff were fantastic and even contacted me on WhatsApp prior to my stay to arrange my check in. Had my room ready early - which was fabulous. I was incredibly lucky to have a suite with a hot tub right on the sea front - beautifully decorated, fresh, clean and the views from the balcony were incredible. I believe breakfast is included for all guests, which was lovely with a wide variety of hot and cold food drinks and pastries. The only criticism is of myself that I didn’t stay longer. I would come back in a heartbeat!

GGastnutzerThis was one of many hotels we looked at but after so many positive reviews about the hotel and the staff it was a no brainer to book and we weren’t disappointed. The staff go out of their way to help you always with a friendly smile. The hotel is clean and adults only makes it a bonus. It’s a 10 second walk from the beach front. The beach is a cove never over crowded and the water is crystal clear and shallow for a long way. Plenty of little shops and places to eat out in this little village. Breakfast in the hotel was good, tasty. Not spoilt for choice but plenty for whatever your tastes. Pool area is great always get a bed. But we mostly went to the beach. There’s a car hire place nearby and a trip to Chania Old Town is an absolute must do. Would come back here again for sure and to this lovely hotel. Highly recommend it.

GGastnutzerDie Lage des Hotels ist definitv sehr gut und ein Plus Punkt.
Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und die Dame an der Bar hat uns ein Willkommensdrink gegeben. Das Hotel wirkt am Eingang recht hochwertig und man fuehlt sich gut aufgehoben. Ich würde sagen es hat kein 5-Sterne Niveau, aber so um die 3,5-4 absolut.
Das Zimmer das wir bekommen hatten, hatte leider keine Fenster (in der Beschreibung stand es gibt eins). Kein Problem für uns. Unsere größter Kritikpunkt ist, da es in der Dusche keine Tür gab, weil diese entfernt wurde. Somit konnte man leider nicht richtig duschen ohne Wasser nach außen zu spritzen. Als wir es beim Empfang bescheid gegeben hatten, gab es leider nur ein „wussten wir gar nicht“ und lieber ans klingelnde Telefon gehen und den Gast stehen lassen. Wer soll es dann wissen wenn nicht das Hotel, leider somit weit entfernt von 5-Sterne Service. Eine kleine Entschuldigung hatten wir erwartet, und das man sich dem Problem annimmt. Finde ich wirklich Schade, dass man so viel Geld und dann ein Zimmer bekommt, welches nicht dem Standard entspricht und eigentlich nicht auf dem gewollten Niveau ist um an Gäste vergeben zu werden. Zum Glück haben wir nur einen Tag hier verbracht und vorher in einem richtigen 5-Sterne Hotel die Woche verbracht.
Ich kann hier wirklich nur overall 3/5 Sterne geben.

LLéo WThis hotel was perfect on all aspects, the room was amazing, big very clean and well equipped. The view from the balcony and the swimming pool was brilliant! I really enjoyed the spa and the interior pool as well. The restaurant of the hotel was perfect too, the food was really good. But most importantly, the staff of the hotel was highly professional and the nicest people! All of them were very good to us and treated us so well. I include everyone in the staff including the cleaning lady who was so lovely too. All in all this might have been my best holiday in a very long time if not ever. I highly recommend this hotel! Big thank you to everyone at Lagon life spirit boutique hotel, you’ve made our stay so perfect!

GGrimI knew as soon as I heard goats with their little bells on that I’d like this place. Quiet, quaint, country accomodation on the way to Samaria Gorge.
The family who run it were all lovely, and mum even made me up a picnic to take on the hike before dad gave us a lift to the starting point.
Maybe it’s because it never happens back home, but I ordered a beer downstairs upon arrival, and got given free olives - that made my absolute day and, though previously incorruptible, my loyalty was bought instantly and totally.
I also had the rabbit fry up thingo, which tasted great, although the salad itself was even better, though it curse my carnivorous tongue to say it.
The bedroom had a great balcony for looking out over the green and rocky hills. Bed was super comfy, and it actually was a little colder way up in the Omalos elevation (in June) which made sleep come very easily for those like me who run hot. Big fluffy blanket in the cupboard though for those of you who like to be warmer.
The bathroom is a bit small and being on the tall end of the height spectrum I had to be wary not to knock myself out on the hand basin when using the toilet. But if you’re under 6 foot you’ll patting your genetics on their small back.
The building is relatively old so expect to hear some footfalls as other guests go past your room, but other than that, blissfully quiet overnight.
The daughter of the family speaks really good English which helped a couple times, when regretfully I seemed to have forgotten all my Greek (which I rudely hadn’t learned prior to arriving).
I can’t recommend this homely hotel enough, so if you’re on your way to hike the gorge, park your car here and stay the night. Then stay in Agia Romelli at the very end of the hike. Then come back to Omalos the next day and get some home style cooking back into your weary body.
Or whatever floats your ferry.

AAnastasia123Wir blieben hier mit meiner Mutter für eine Nacht und wir waren absolut zufrieden mit diesem Hotel. Von dem Zeitpunkt an wussten wir, dass es besondere war. Die Lage ist perfekt in einem ruhigen Dorf, nur einen 1-minütigen Spaziergang zu einem breiten, geräumigen Strand mit einfachem Zugang zum Wasser.
Das Zimmer war spotless, frisch renoviert und sogar geräuchert. Wir hatten einen großen Balkon mit einem Tisch, und alles war so sauber, dass wir beim Tischwischen nicht einmal einen Spurenstaub fanden. Die Aufmerksamkeit auf die Details in der Reinigung war wirklich beeindruckend.
Der Besitzer war wunderbar, um sich zu treffen, so freundlich, willkommen und großzügig. Er behandelte uns zu frischem Obst und teilte viele hilfreiche Tipps über die Gegend, so dass unser Aufenthalt extra persönlich und warm fühlt. Das Frühstück war ein weiterer Highlight: Hausgemacht, lecker und mit so viel Pflege vorbereitet.
Dieses Hotel hat uns über 337 km über die Lage, die Atmosphäre, die Gastfreundschaft, alles war perfekt. Wir haben bereits geträumt, zurückzukommen und länger zu bleiben.

ААнастасія ГлавацькаHeute bin ich wieder zu Hause gelandet, nachdem ich eine fantastische Woche in diesem familiengeführten Hotel verbracht habe. Ich kann Ihnen definitiv sagen, dass es einer der besten Urlaube war, die ich je hatte, voller netter Leute und großartigem griechischen Wetter. Das Hotel ist sehr günstig gelegen, Sie haben viele Geschäfte und Restaurants in der Nähe. Lidl ist nur 5-7 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Neben dem Hotel gab es ein tolles Café – gehen Sie weiter. Neben dem Hotel gibt es eine Bushaltestelle, von der aus Sie ins Stadtzentrum von Chania gelangen, wo Sie einen schönen Spaziergang machen und ein köstliches Abendessen genießen können. Das Hotel selbst ist im Apartmentstil gehalten und hat einen fantastischen Pool, der immer gut gepflegt und sauber war. Jeden Tag sorgten die Mädchen dafür, dass unser Zimmer sauber war und wir neue Handtücher hatten, und sie stellten ziemlich beeindruckende Arrangements aus Blumen und Handtüchern her 😁 Der Manager des Hotels war äußerst freundlich und ging immer effizient auf alle unsere Wünsche ein. Das Frühstück war köstlich und insgesamt war unser Aufenthalt äußerst angenehm. Besuchen Sie dieses Hotel auf jeden Fall, um die unglaubliche griechische Gastfreundschaft zu spüren.

GGuest UserDas Hotel ist sehr gut, mit einer wunderschönen Umgebung. Es hat einen eigenen Strand. Es ist wirklich angenehm, am Strand zu liegen und dem Meer zu lauschen, und der Kellner sorgt für Wasser. Auch der Service war gut. Da wir zu viert waren, bekamen wir ein Zustellbett und eine Steppdecke wurde auf die Tatami gelegt, was sehr aufmerksam war.
