4-Sterne-Hotels in Adelaide

We booked 2 bedroom apartment and the place was huge and spacious. Everything was provided for the kitchen. we were able to prepared meals. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

Smelly rooms. Towels looked grey. The air-conditioning exhaust fan is connected directly to the hallway and makes it unbearably hot once walking out of our unit. This terrible design also renders the air-conditioning inside the room ineffective when the hot air being pumped out eventually seeps though the gap between the door and the walls/floor mixing with the cooler air in the apartment. I have to commend the engineer who thought of this ingenious way to waste energy and torture hotel guests while the aforementioned guests were trying their best to do their part in saving sea turtles by sipping tepid drinks in their psuedo sauna rooms with paper straws which slowly melt into pulps, at the same time pondering what life choices they have made to deserve this. As a group of atheists, we couldn't help but reflect and repent. Hell does exist. It might be akin to staying in an apartment eqiuped with an infinite heating loop during the scorching summer of Adelaide. The A/C eventually failed completely in two out of three rooms during our second night of stay. We did not ask for help from the hotel staff as it's already 2am. After one long sleepless night, we rushed back to the Northern Hemisphere and accepted Jesus Christ as our only lord and saviour. Amen.

Ich wusste nicht, dass es nur Treppenzugang war. Das wurde nicht offensichtlich, als ich buchte oder ich hätte es vermeiden sollen. Weil ich 2 extrem schlechte Knie habe und kann nicht Treppen machen, das machte es sehr schwer für mich. Als ich dort hinablief, ging ich auf die Außensteppen, es war zu spät, als ich die Innensteppen sah, um zurückzugehen, weil meine Knie geschafft waren. Heater nicht so funktioniert, bis ich das in der ersten Nacht realisierte, konnte ich physisch nicht wieder zurück gehen. Aber als ich das am Dienstag Abend berichtete, gab es sofortige Aktion und das Problem wurde gelöst. Heater an, aber es war sehr laut beim Laufen. Nicht viel Platz zum sitzen und entspannen. Wenn es 4 Gäste gibt es buchstäblich nicht genug Zimmer im Schlafsofa/Kühlschrank/TV-Raum zu beherbergen. Und eines der luxuriösen Dinge über den Aufenthalt in einem Hotelzimmer ist im Bett sitzen und TV zu sehen, was hier unmöglich ist. Seit Jahren habe ich in einem Hotel oder Motelzimmer geblieben, das keine Schampoon/Klimaanlage anbietet, so war das eine Überraschung. Die Kältetür klammerte, musste es schwer zu schließen.

The hotel is conveniently located about 10 to 15 mins walk across parklands from East Terrace in the city which is where most of the popular restaurants and cafes are. During our stay, the preparation for the V8 car races was ongoing and many of the roads were blocked off. But finding a detour was easy enough. The hotel has limited onsite parking but there are plenty of spaces in the quiet residential streets behind the hotel. The hotel’s reception also manages the Econo Lodge Hotel which is located across the street and has its own parking. We only stayed for 1 night and did not get to try the restaurant onsite. The rooms layouts were not exactly rectangular but they were big enough to accommodate a king and a single bed and a pull out bed from under the single bed. A good and unusual feature was a power point built into the bed side cabjnet which works well for those with a need to use CPAP machines or for charging devices. There was a study/work table in the room that is useful for business travellers.

Es war ok, aber nicht mehr. Die beiden wichtigsten Dinge für mich in jedem Hotel sind ein komfortables Bett und eine gute Dusche. Das Bett war groß, aber der Wasserdruck in der Dusche war sehr schlecht. Darüber hinaus gab es andere Fragen, die ich von einem Hotel dieser Standard nicht erwarten würde, die die Preise tragen, die es tut. Der Fernseh-Knopf funktionierte nicht, noch machte er die oberen Knopfe auf der Fernsehsendung. Als ich das Fernsehen auf dem GPO wechselte und dann auf dem eigentlichen Fernsehen selbst, konnte ich nicht den angeschlossenen DVD-Player verwenden, da die Tasten, um es auf dem Fernsehen zu schalten, nicht funktionierte. Frühstück war ziemlich schlecht. Im Grunde Getreide oder Eier geschrotet mit einigen anderen Optionen wie Obstkuppen, Joghurt und Kuchen. Es diente mir, nahe dem Konventszentrum zu sein, aber ich bezweifle, dass ich noch einmal dort bleiben würde.

Bis auf die Lage abseits der Innenstadt gibt es keine Nachteile! Glücklicherweise ist der Eingang der Ausgangspunkt der kleinen Bahn in die Stadt, und Sie können eine Karte bekommen, mit der Sie durch die ganze Stadt fahren können 😎 Das größte Highlight ist natürlich der unschlagbare Meerblick, der Sonnenaufgang und der Sonnenuntergang sind wunderschön! Sie können den wunderschönen Sonnenaufgang und Sonnenuntergang in Ihrem Zimmer genießen, ohne Ihr Zuhause zu verlassen🌅 Man kann nie genug Fotos machen! Ich habe mich auch an die örtlichen Gepflogenheiten gehalten und bin morgens am Strand 🏃♀️ joggen gegangen, habe die Luft eingeatmet, die den Duft des Meeres 🌊 verströmte, die Meeresbrise gespürt und mittags Austern 🦪 und Bier 🍻 gegessen, was so erfrischend war!

As I was going to be leaving from the Parklands Train Terminal early in the morning this hotel was perfectly situated for my trip. Although I wasn't at the hotel for very long only about 12hrs overnight it was a good location and the room faced the parking so meant it was quieter as well and didn't get the hot afternoon sun either. I would say though there was no pricelist I could find for the mini-bar, not that I used it was only thinking of grabbing some cold water that was in the fridge. The one thing I wasn't a fan was the spa tub/shower combo. The jets need a serious clean all around them but then even standing in it meant anyone tall as in 6'5” plus may have to bend down. I would think they should rip out the spa tub and put in a nicer rain shower shower stall instead maybe just provide spa tubs in rooms that you can also put a shower stall into. I'd stay here again mainly for the location as it's also right across the street from the big park area which was fantastic to walk around on a warm evening after dinner at the pub up the street.

Really happy with this hotel. It offered excellent value for money — clean, comfortable, and well-equipped without the price tag of a hotel. The staff were helpful and the location made getting around easy.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The hostel is okay, there is a lot of permanent residents in the hostel so the kitchen is busy and not a big size so can get too much. There was then food left out and dishes left around so didn’t feel clean. However the rooms were clean and hoovered everyday we were there so that was the main thing for us as we didn’t use the kitchen as much. They did offer breakfast included which was basic but nice (few muffins, cereal and hot drinks etc) in addition dinner was included but was the same meals that seem repeated The staff were nice and helpful. We arrived very early in the morning from the bus service (6:00 am) having a member of the team on for this time would be helpful as we had to sit in the living room section with someone asleep on the sofa and two others eating breakfast. It would mainly help with the smoothness etc but once someone arrived they were able to check us into a room straightaway which was amazing! Location is good as it’s near the bus terminal and around a 15 min walk to the centre of Adelaide.

Im Zentrum von North Terrace ist die Lage des Hotels sehr bequem. Es dauert 15m vom Flughafen mit dem Fahrzeug und nur 5m bis zum Bahnhof auf Fuß. Ausrüstung im Zimmer sind voll und einfach zu bedienen. Die einzigen Kons ist dünne Wand des Waschraums, was ein wenig Lärm verursacht, wenn jemand die Toilette benutzen.
