Good central city location and very clean, well equipped room with small cooktop and full range of appliances and cutlery /crockery. We only had a ”studio” room which was cheaper than others but still quite roomy with a table, bench and multiple chairs plus a large bed. The bathroom was also a decent size and had plenty of extras. Our room only had a view of a concrete wall opposite and while slightly disappointing the outlook wasn't the reason we stayed there. I spoke with half a dozen front desk staff across three days every one of whom was friendly, efficient and helpful. Well done hiring manager. Good free washing/drying machines in shared area on ground floor were a nice touch (I believe some of the more expensive rooms have their own). A fairly minor negative was the parking at a public car park across the road about half a block away ($30/day). While you can unload your luggage and passengers at the curb outside the Quesr, it's then a bit of a walk back for the driver if that's a concern for you. Overall a good place to stay and access city sights.

Really welcoming and friendly staff who were eager to help wherever they could. We arrived here at the end of our trip from Melbourne along the Great Ocean Road to Adelaide, so the comfort was very much appreciated after spending nights sleeping and living in a campervan. The hostel itself is very clean and maintained. There are multiple TV rooms, a massive chill-out area, and bathrooms that feel more like a hotel than a hostel. We booked a private room with shared bathroom. The room was a good size, with a balcony, a desk, and 2 large, comfortable double bed. It was also air-conditioned. The kitchen is large and well equipped, with multiple fridges and stovetops, as well as a microwave, cleaning products, and recycling facilities. The only downside is that some guests could be tidier and put their things away after washing up / cooking. The location is excellent — right in the centre of the city. You can walk everywhere: the bus station, supermarkets, China/Asian town, restaurants, and Adelaide Central Market are all just minutes away. Overall, I would definitely recommend staying here and would happily stay again.

No car park attached to hotel, have to drive to car park yourself or pay $55 for a chauffeur to drive it. Room service menu was fancy stuff from the downstairs restaurant. Nothing simple. Not even room service breakfast available. On the note of the restaurant downstairs this is where the “buffet” breakfast was and I use that term loosely. Shocking variety. Even have to do our own coffees right in a tiny corner of the the room. One coffee at a time while the line gets bigger. We have to get a special order for eggs because the scrambled eggs are just mush. At least the toaster worked. And the space fits maybe 20 which is fine for a B&B but not for a 16 floor hotel. We had to have breakfast at 8 to avoid the crowds waiting at 9 and later. In the room itself (we had a suite), there were light switches EVERYWHERE. And they were all so confusing as you couldn’t see what they said. Then the one in the bathroom you had to walk in and close the door to access it. No fan ventilation for showers. Bath mats being so thin gets immediately soaked after one shower. No face washers. Bench was too low for a bathroom. Hand towels way too low. The size of the bathroom was nice though and the shower pressure was good. TV remote didn’t work properly, could not find all amenities like coffee, tea, fridge even etc. No nice hotel guide folder to help us out. The “desk” was the tv cabinet when there was plenty of space in the lounge area to have a desk. Then we had a balcony with no chairs or table to sit at (can easily have some out there and bolt them down for safety). The temperature stuff don’t even get me started. Uncomfy beds and flat pillows. I ended up sleeping on the lounger as it was more comfortable. I don’t think I’ll be back anytime soon. Wasn’t horrible but wasn’t great. The staff were nice though which was a nice change

It was a lovely 2-night stay in the Oceanview Twin Room. We were offered an upgrade for just $20 a day to enjoy a balcony, definitely worth it! Loved the location, so close to shops with plenty of food and drink options. The kids and I also had a great time relaxing in the heated pool and spa, even in the cold weather. .

Smelly rooms. Towels looked grey. The air-conditioning exhaust fan is connected directly to the hallway and makes it unbearably hot once walking out of our unit. This terrible design also renders the air-conditioning inside the room ineffective when the hot air being pumped out eventually seeps though the gap between the door and the walls/floor mixing with the cooler air in the apartment. I have to commend the engineer who thought of this ingenious way to waste energy and torture hotel guests while the aforementioned guests were trying their best to do their part in saving sea turtles by sipping tepid drinks in their psuedo sauna rooms with paper straws which slowly melt into pulps, at the same time pondering what life choices they have made to deserve this. As a group of atheists, we couldn't help but reflect and repent. Hell does exist. It might be akin to staying in an apartment eqiuped with an infinite heating loop during the scorching summer of Adelaide. The A/C eventually failed completely in two out of three rooms during our second night of stay. We did not ask for help from the hotel staff as it's already 2am. After one long sleepless night, we rushed back to the Northern Hemisphere and accepted Jesus Christ as our only lord and saviour. Amen.

Ich wusste nicht, dass es nur Treppenzugang war. Das wurde nicht offensichtlich, als ich buchte oder ich hätte es vermeiden sollen. Weil ich 2 extrem schlechte Knie habe und kann nicht Treppen machen, das machte es sehr schwer für mich. Als ich dort hinablief, ging ich auf die Außensteppen, es war zu spät, als ich die Innensteppen sah, um zurückzugehen, weil meine Knie geschafft waren. Heater nicht so funktioniert, bis ich das in der ersten Nacht realisierte, konnte ich physisch nicht wieder zurück gehen. Aber als ich das am Dienstag Abend berichtete, gab es sofortige Aktion und das Problem wurde gelöst. Heater an, aber es war sehr laut beim Laufen. Nicht viel Platz zum sitzen und entspannen. Wenn es 4 Gäste gibt es buchstäblich nicht genug Zimmer im Schlafsofa/Kühlschrank/TV-Raum zu beherbergen. Und eines der luxuriösen Dinge über den Aufenthalt in einem Hotelzimmer ist im Bett sitzen und TV zu sehen, was hier unmöglich ist. Seit Jahren habe ich in einem Hotel oder Motelzimmer geblieben, das keine Schampoon/Klimaanlage anbietet, so war das eine Überraschung. Die Kältetür klammerte, musste es schwer zu schließen.

Hier im Weihnachtsjahr. Das Zimmer verfügte über eine Küche - Geschirrspüler, Backofen + Mikrowelle + Waschmaschine + Balkon über das Aussichtskonventzentrum. Schön bleiben, komfortable Bett, ruhig - die Toilette klingt wie eine Wasserpumpe, wenn sie füllt. Badezimmer/Dusche ist ein wenig datiert, aber funktional. Parkplatz kostet 30$ pro Tag (vernünftig bezahlt - unbegrenzte Einreise während des Aufenthalts) Insgesamt ein toller Aufenthalt!! Wird sicher zurückkommen!!!!

BreakFree Adelaide ist eine pragmatische Wahl für den Hochfrequenz-Geschäftsreisenden, der ein Hotel als nützliches Hotel anstatt als Erfahrung betrachtet. Auf der Westkante der CBD bietet es eine ”drei-Sterne-Plus” Erfahrungrein, funktional und ohne den Preisblower in nahe gelegenen Luxuszentren. Der strategische Vorteil hier ist der Parkplatz unter Deckung ($22/night mit einer 2.1m Clearance), das ein seltenes, friktionsreduzierendes Vermögen im Stadtzentrum ist. Für diejenigen, die im Westen arbeiten oder die Universität der Adelaide’s Health Faculty besuchen, sind die Logistiken schwach. Der Charakter der Gegend ist schrecklich, aber authentisch. Während das sofortige Hotelgericht unerheblich ist, ist die Küche oben in der Nähe konzentriert. Insbesondere bietet Seoul Express auf Hindley Street einen hochwertigen koreanischen Preis, der als notwendiges Antidot für die Standard-Hotelcatering dient. Bleib hier für die Betriebsleistung; schauen Sie anderswo, wenn Sie ästhetische Inspiration benötigen.

Großer Ort für diejenigen, die einen Aufenthaltsort wollen. Ich habe dort 2 Nächte geblieben, und die Erfahrung ist sehr gut. Personal war sehr freundlich, vor allem Miss Sophia. Ich werde auch mit anderen Reisenden und WHV-Inhabern im gemeinsamen Raum (indoor) und im Raum (outdoor) chatieren. Die Küche ist geräumig und sehr zugänglich für diejenigen, die kochen wollen (fast) 24/7; die Küche ist für ein paar Stunden geschlossen, um für das Abendessen zu bereiten (erst kommen zuerst servieren) (und es hat auch kostenloses Frühstück). Insgesamt würde ich kommen, wenn ich ein paar Nächte zu bleiben brauche.

Im Zentrum von North Terrace ist die Lage des Hotels sehr bequem. Es dauert 15m vom Flughafen mit dem Fahrzeug und nur 5m bis zum Bahnhof auf Fuß. Ausrüstung im Zimmer sind voll und einfach zu bedienen. Die einzigen Kons ist dünne Wand des Waschraums, was ein wenig Lärm verursacht, wenn jemand die Toilette benutzen.
