GGastnutzerReally welcoming and friendly staff who were eager to help wherever they could. We arrived here at the end of our trip from Melbourne along the Great Ocean Road to Adelaide, so the comfort was very much appreciated after spending nights sleeping and living in a campervan. The hostel itself is very clean and maintained. There are multiple TV rooms, a massive chill-out area, and bathrooms that feel more like a hotel than a hostel. We booked a private room with shared bathroom. The room was a good size, with a balcony, a desk, and 2 large, comfortable double bed. It was also air-conditioned. The kitchen is large and well equipped, with multiple fridges and stovetops, as well as a microwave, cleaning products, and recycling facilities. The only downside is that some guests could be tidier and put their things away after washing up / cooking. The location is excellent — right in the centre of the city. You can walk everywhere: the bus station, supermarkets, China/Asian town, restaurants, and Adelaide Central Market are all just minutes away. Overall, I would definitely recommend staying here and would happily stay again.

GGastnutzerNo car park attached to hotel, have to drive to car park yourself or pay $55 for a chauffeur to drive it. Room service menu was fancy stuff from the downstairs restaurant. Nothing simple. Not even room service breakfast available. On the note of the restaurant downstairs this is where the “buffet” breakfast was and I use that term loosely. Shocking variety. Even have to do our own coffees right in a tiny corner of the the room. One coffee at a time while the line gets bigger. We have to get a special order for eggs because the scrambled eggs are just mush. At least the toaster worked. And the space fits maybe 20 which is fine for a B&B but not for a 16 floor hotel. We had to have breakfast at 8 to avoid the crowds waiting at 9 and later. In the room itself (we had a suite), there were light switches EVERYWHERE. And they were all so confusing as you couldn’t see what they said. Then the one in the bathroom you had to walk in and close the door to access it. No fan ventilation for showers. Bath mats being so thin gets immediately soaked after one shower. No face washers. Bench was too low for a bathroom. Hand towels way too low. The size of the bathroom was nice though and the shower pressure was good. TV remote didn’t work properly, could not find all amenities like coffee, tea, fridge even etc. No nice hotel guide folder to help us out. The “desk” was the tv cabinet when there was plenty of space in the lounge area to have a desk. Then we had a balcony with no chairs or table to sit at (can easily have some out there and bolt them down for safety). The temperature stuff don’t even get me started. Uncomfy beds and flat pillows. I ended up sleeping on the lounger as it was more comfortable. I don’t think I’ll be back anytime soon. Wasn’t horrible but wasn’t great. The staff were nice though which was a nice change

GGastnutzerIt was a lovely 2-night stay in the Oceanview Twin Room. We were offered an upgrade for just $20 a day to enjoy a balcony, definitely worth it! Loved the location, so close to shops with plenty of food and drink options. The kids and I also had a great time relaxing in the heated pool and spa, even in the cold weather. .

GGastnutzerGenerally the room looked clean and the bed was made up but the pillow/bedsheet smelled a bit like body odour so I’m unsure if it was cleaned properly or if they didn’t change all of the sheets/pillow covers. On top of this, I left a big bag of Haigh’s chocolates in the mini fridge and forgot to take them when I checked out. When I rang that night to ask if they were found the reception told me no and that any food left would be thrown away. I can understand if half eaten or opened food should be thrown away but these were unopened chocolates which I had bought as gifts for my family. Surely they could have kept them for at least 24 hours to make sure that the guest won’t come back for them? I think we all know where those chocolates ended up. Very disappointing!

GGastnutzerDies ist eine tolle Lage und ich genossen mein Aufenthalt trotz einiger Nigger. Die Form des Zimmers bedeutete, dass der TV so weit vom Bett entfernt war. Es schien perfekt platziert, um TV aus dem Badezimmer zu sehen, aber id eher eine komfortable Aussicht aus dem Bett. Es bedeutete auch zwei von uns auf einer Seite der b Das Bett war auch unkomfortabel und braucht eindeutig eine Ersetzung. Es lief auf einer Seite und hatte einen großen Schlag im Zentrum. Das Hotel ist insgesamt gut, aber ich würde nicht wieder in diesem speziellen Zimmer bleiben.

They also have an interesting buffet offering for 20 dollars, i haven't tried it out, but i heard it quite nice.

Glücklicherweise ist der Eingang der Ausgangspunkt der kleinen Bahn in die Stadt, und Sie können eine Karte bekommen, mit der Sie durch die ganze Stadt fahren können 😎 Das größte Highlight ist natürlich der unschlagbare Meerblick, der Sonnenaufgang und der Sonnenuntergang sind wunderschön! Sie können den wunderschönen Sonnenaufgang und Sonnenuntergang in Ihrem Zimmer genießen, ohne Ihr Zuhause zu verlassen🌅 Man kann nie genug Fotos machen! Ich habe mich auch an die örtlichen Gepflogenheiten gehalten und bin morgens am Strand 🏃♀️ joggen gegangen, habe die Luft eingeatmet, die den Duft des Meeres 🌊 verströmte, die Meeresbrise gespürt und mittags Austern 🦪 und Bier 🍻 gegessen, was so erfrischend war!

MMartinMadladIt was ok, but not more. The two most important things for me in any hotel are a comfortable bed and a good shower. the bed was great but the water pressure in the shower was very poor. Aside from that, there were other issues that I would not expect from a hotel of this standard, carrying the prices it does. The TV power button did not work, neither did any of the top buttons on the remote. Once I turned the TV on at the GPO and then on the actual TV itself, I was unable to use the connected DVD player as the buttons to switch to it on the remote did not work. Breakfast was quite poor. Basically cereal or scrambled eggs with a few other options such as fruit cups, yoghurt and biscuits. It served my purpose being close to the convention centre, but I doubt I'd stay there again.

NNLK90Hier im Weihnachtsjahr. Das Zimmer verfügte über eine Küche - Geschirrspüler, Backofen + Mikrowelle + Waschmaschine + Balkon über das Aussichtskonventzentrum. Schön bleiben, komfortable Bett, ruhig - die Toilette klingt wie eine Wasserpumpe, wenn sie füllt. Badezimmer/Dusche ist ein wenig datiert, aber funktional. Parkplatz kostet 30$ pro Tag (vernünftig bezahlt - unbegrenzte Einreise während des Aufenthalts) Insgesamt ein toller Aufenthalt!! Wird sicher zurückkommen!!!!

GGastnutzerAs I was going to be leaving from the Parklands Train Terminal early in the morning this hotel was perfectly situated for my trip. Although I wasn't at the hotel for very long only about 12hrs overnight it was a good location and the room faced the parking so meant it was quieter as well and didn't get the hot afternoon sun either. I would say though there was no pricelist I could find for the mini-bar, not that I used it was only thinking of grabbing some cold water that was in the fridge. The one thing I wasn't a fan was the spa tub/shower combo. The jets need a serious clean all around them but then even standing in it meant anyone tall as in 6'5” plus may have to bend down. I would think they should rip out the spa tub and put in a nicer rain shower shower stall instead maybe just provide spa tubs in rooms that you can also put a shower stall into. I'd stay here again mainly for the location as it's also right across the street from the big park area which was fantastic to walk around on a warm evening after dinner at the pub up the street.
