❤❤️travellingMy flight was in the morning from MXP, so I left the hotel at 4 am. I asked the front desk at least 5 times about where is the ferry station and time table, which Lorenzo gave me very accurate answer and printed out the time table, indicated the station on map for me. However, the station that he gave me was wrong( I arrived 10 mins in advance ) so I missed the ferry at 4:21….there was absolutely no one in anywhere near the station so I desperately rushed back with my luggages to the hotel, where there is an older guy in the front desk said it’s the next station after the one Lorenzo gave me, which means one more bridge. Yet, I did ask this older guy before I left the hotel at 4 and he was very sure. When the second time i doubted him he said “ you can wherever u like lady!” There was no empathy, as if it’s none of their business! Second time I rushed to the correct station n took the ferry at 4:55 and I missed the train to Milan! Buying another italo ticket wasn’t a problem but it’s about life and limb! I’m just hoping the front desk could be more professional n check really carefully when they give suggestion. I would definitely miss my flight if there was no Italo fast train, plus I took taxi right after I arrived Milano centrale to make it!
Room was small couldnt open big luggage but it was clean, the cleaning lady deserved a big tip! I like they provide water and slippers. The view from my room is authentic.
The hotel is convenient if u r around San Marco square or you always have to go to bathroom.
If u r taking night ferry to Santa Lucia Train station Ferrovia, remember is on the right END station from San Marco, it’s another bridge u have to cross.

AAdam23We had a great experience staying at this hotel! Although it's rated as a three-star property, keep in mind that it’s three stars in Venice—which is definitely not the same as a three-star elsewhere. The charm and quality here exceeded our expectations.
You won’t find a lot of reviews about this hotel, but I did come across a YouTube vlog by a mother who shared her family stay here. She said it was a really good choice—and she turned out to be absolutely right!
We booked a Prestige Room with Canal View and specifically requested Room 101, which we saw on TikTok or YouTube (can't recall exactly where). The photos already impressed us, but the reality was even better. The ceiling was much higher than expected, which gave the room a beautiful, airy feel. The hotel still shows older pictures online, with an outdated TV, but we were happy to find a newer TV already installed.
The amenities were excellent—truly some of the best I’ve experienced in a hotel of this category. Breakfast was on the smaller side, but absolutely sufficient. The cakes and pastries were quite decent, and having them in such a beautiful, old-style interior made it feel like we were stepping back in time—in the best way possible.
A huge shoutout to the staff, who were all genuinely kind and accommodating. We felt their hospitality in even the smallest gestures, and it was very much appreciated.
Lastly, the location is unbeatable—just a short walk from the Rialto Bridge, close to everything. Being so near the heart of Venice made it easy to go out and explore, then return to rest and recharge. It's also conveniently close to shopping areas, which is a nice bonus.
All in all, this hotel was a hidden gem. If you're looking for a stay that combines charm, comfort, location, and authentic Venetian vibes, this is a fantastic choice. That mother on YouTube was right—it really is a great choice!

GGastnutzerLa ubicación es ideal, se llega rápido caminando desde el bus del aeropuerto y a todos lados caminando. Hay bares alrededor y es una zona tranquila. Lo que podría mejorar son las instrucciones del check-in, ya que les contacté con bastante anticipación por la app para hacer el check-in y aún así tuve problemas al llegar. Lo bueno es que responden y solucionan rápido, debo destacar eso. La vista desde nuestra habitación era preciosa, daba a un pequeño patio. Recomiendo sin dudas

GGastnutzerDas Hotel ist im Camping-Stil gehalten und befindet sich südwestlich des Bahnhofs Mestre. Die Anbindung an öffentliche Verkehrsmittel ist nicht sehr gut; es gibt keine direkten Bus- oder Straßenbahnverbindungen, und der Bahnhof ist zudem recht weit entfernt. Die Hoteleinrichtungen sind noch relativ neu. Die Unterkünfte ähneln Fertighütten, und beim Gehen knarrt der Boden.

GGastnutzerEin super Hotel, nur einen Katzensprung vom Markusplatz entfernt. Es ist blitzsauber und das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück ist gut. Der einzige kleine Nachteil – aber das ist bei einem historischen Gebäude zu erwarten – ist, dass es keinen Aufzug gibt. Trotzdem sehr empfehlenswert, auch wegen des guten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnisses.

DDenysBWir sind am 12. Januar um 10:30 Uhr im Hotel angekommen. Das Zimmer war absolut erstaunlich und über zwei Ebenen geteilt.
Auf dem Bodenboden war ein Badezimmer und eine separate Dusche. Alles war sehr schön, sauber und in perfektem Arbeitsumfeld. Die Dusche leckte überhaupt nicht, und es gab keinen unerfreulichen Geruch.
Auf der oberen Etage war ein Schlafzimmer mit einem großen Bett und einem zusätzlichen Sofa. Das Zimmer war mit einem großen Smart-TV, einem geräumigen Schrank, einem Safe und einem Haartrockner ausgestattet. Wir wurden auch mit zwei Flaschen Wasser 0.5 L ausgestattet.
Es gab sowohl eine Heizung als auch Klimaanlage, und alles funktionierte perfekt, so dass es überhaupt nicht kalt war.
Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet. Es mag anfangs etwas verwirrend auf der Karte aussehen, aber wir haben es schnell herausgefunden. Wenn Sie den Shop „Ca’ Macana Atelier“ sehen, ziehen Sie sofort rechts. Sie sehen ein altes öffentliches Telefon, und zwischen den Gebäuden gibt es der Eingang des Hotels (der Hotelname steht auf der Tür). Alle Zugangscodes funktionierten ohne Probleme.
Das Innenraum des Hotels ist sehr schön. Der Besitzer ist eine sehr freundliche und willkommene Dame wirklich wunderbar. Sie spricht Englisch und reinigt die Zimmer täglich. Wenn Sie lieber nicht Ihr Zimmer gereinigt haben, können Sie sie einfach informieren oder das Zeichen auf die Tür hängen.
Die Tourismussteuer beträgt 3 € pro Person pro Tag.
Wir haben alles absolut geliebt. Von allen Orten, in denen wir geblieben sind (preis zwischen 20 € und 60 € pro Nacht), sind dieses Hotel und das Zimmer zweifellos unser erstes Favorit.

ЮЮрий ХлутковWe’ve stayed in many hotels and apartments around the world, from tiny rooms to beautiful villas, and this was honestly our first experience like this.
We arrived around 2:30 PM, right after check-in time. There is no elevator, but that’s completely understandable for an old Venetian building. We carried our luggage to the third floor, and while my wife was speaking with the host, we suddenly found out that the bathroom was shared with another room.
This was a huge surprise for us because on Trip.com the booking clearly mentioned private facilities in the room and a shower. Only later did we realize that the bathroom was actually outside the room and shared between two rooms, with separate keys for the wooden bathroom door. The bathroom itself was clean and decent, but for us this completely changed the experience. We have never stayed in a place with a shared bathroom before, and finding this out only at check-in was very disappointing.
Another frustrating point was the check-out policy. Check-out was at 10:00 AM, which we already knew from the booking, but honestly this was only the second time in my life I’ve seen such an early check-out time — and I’ve probably booked more than 200 hotels. I think the only earlier one I ever had was 9:30 AM. I genuinely do not understand why there needs to be a 4-hour gap between check-out and check-in for cleaning a room that does not even have a private bathroom.
On top of that, the host said it was impossible to leave luggage after check-out because she had “negative experiences” before. So after an already disappointing stay, this just added another layer of inconvenience.
Other downsides:
* terrible pillows — sleeping felt like your head was at a 90-degree angle;
* extremely poor sound insulation, you can hear literally every movement from other guests;
* in the shower there was nothing except hand soap near the sink — no shampoo, no conditioner, no basic amenities.
Positive points:
* very good location;
* the room itself was clean;
* coffee was available in the room.
Unfortunately, the bathroom situation completely overshadowed all the positives for us. Because of that, I would rate this place 2/5.

GGastnutzerWe found the location quite easily. It’s conveniently situated within a comfortable walking distance from the bus stop where the airport buses arrive, which was a big plus after traveling.
The administrator was very welcoming — we would especially like to thank her for the warm reception. We arrived before check-in time and were able to leave our bags, which was very convenient. When we returned at the scheduled time, we were able to access our room without any issues.
During our stay, renovation works started in a neighboring apartment (apparently upstairs). Because of this, there was a bit less natural light in our room, and we could hear construction noise in the mornings, which started quite early. It turned out that the host was not aware that the work would begin so early either.
We would like to especially highlight how the situation was handled. The host personally spoke with us, apologized, and managed to arrange for the work to start later. It was clear that our comfort truly mattered. For us, the situation was completely resolved.
The room itself met our expectations. It was spacious — not one of those layouts where you walk straight into the bed with the bathroom door right there. The room was warm thanks to central heating. The water pressure was excellent, and the bathroom was simple but cozy.
There was no breakfast option during our stay, but that did not significantly affect our overall experience.
We had a pleasant stay and are grateful for the hospitality. It is clear that guest comfort is a priority here — if you experience any issues or need assistance, don’t hesitate to ask.

BBjornAls ich zum Hotel ging, lachte ich über ein heruntergekommenes rotes Hotel mit Holzbuchstaben. Es stellte sich heraus, dass es unser Hotel war. Ich war für drei Nächte im Zimmer 311. 3. Stock, jedes Mal 67 Stufen, da es keinen Aufzug gibt. Die Einrichtung war alt/iranisch und entsprach überhaupt nicht den Fotos auf der Website. Bitte fordern Sie bei der Buchung zwei Einzelbetten und vorzugsweise ein Bad an. Das Bett war als Doppelbett bezogen und das Bad entpuppte sich als 70x70cm große Dusche mit schmutzigen Plastikfalttüren. Auch das im Preis inbegriffene Frühstück war enttäuschend. Am Wochenende waren nach 9 Uhr die Teller, Tassen und Messer weg und es war schwierig, einen Platz zum Sitzen zu finden. Vielleicht habe ich für 63 Euro pro Nacht in Venedig zu viel erwartet, aber mehr ist es auf jeden Fall nicht wert.

GGastnutzerWe arrived at the most expensive hotel (AU$1600 for 3nts, 2 adults) we had ever stayed at, there was no lift to our room on the 1st floor.
I struggled to carry 2 suitcases with no assistance from the gentleman in reception up to the 1st-floor room. This would be very difficult if we were older & unable to carry our cases.
The wi-fi didn't work in the bedrooms only in the public areas - even though we were told it would.
The bedroom had multiple squashed mosquitos on the walls next to the bed.
The lace curtain had a couple of cigarette burns on it.
The bedcover had a cigarette burn on it.
The telephone handset cable was not connected to the .telephone - I tried to fix it but it wouldn't stay in the socket.
The safe was not working.
The instructions to use the safe were so old & worn out you couldn't read them.
The shower wouldn't work properly, so I had to call the person in reception to assist us in getting it working.
You had to get out of the shower cubicle to retrieve shower gel/shampoo/soap. There was nowhere in the shower to put these items. There was no room in the shower at all. I moved the stool in the bathroom to put my shower gel on it & two legs fell off the stool.
The toilet roll holder wouldn't hold the toilet roll and it kept falling off.
The bathroom bin was broken and filthy
The breakfast ran until 10 am, the bread ran out & was not replaced & this was before 9 am.
I am a travel agent & book many guests to stay in cities around the world including Venice
I was upset that this hotel was an extremely poor standard and felt like it ruined the end of my beautiful holiday in Italy.
