Das B&B liegt nur 1 Kilometer vom Bahnhof Tainan entfernt, also etwa 5 Autominuten, und ganz in der Nähe anderer Sehenswürdigkeiten und Restaurants der Stadt. Die erst vor wenigen Jahren eröffnete Unterkunft ist hochwertig, stilvoll und sauber, genau wie auf den Fotos im Internet. Das Besitzerpaar war unglaublich gastfreundlich und begeistert. Sie gaben nicht nur Empfehlungen für lokale Gerichte, sondern erzählten auch von traditionellen chinesischen Liedern und der Tempelkultur. Besonders beeindruckend war, dass die Besitzer ihre Cocktails selbst mixen und sie mit ihren Gästen genießen. Im Vergleich zu früheren Reisen ermöglichte dieser Aufenthalt eine tiefere Verbindung zu den Einheimischen, ganz im Gegensatz zum einseitigen Service, der in Hotels üblich ist. Ich war rundum zufrieden!

We had a great stay at Kindness Day Hotel! It’s small but sleek and modern, with a cozy vibe. The staff were super friendly and helpful, especially for us English speakers, which made everything so easy. The lounge with unlimited coffee and cookies was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. You get a free drink ticket each night for beer or juice, which is a nice perk. Just be sure to use them the same day as they expire. We didn’t get a chance to use ours! The breakfast buffet was decent, not amazing, but still a nice option to have. With a bus stop and bike station right outside and plenty of restaurants and attractions nearby, it’s a super convenient and welcoming place to stay. Highly recommend!

The location is great as it is located to the restaurant and bars cluster. The facilities are clean, well equipped and relatively new. My only issue is with the desk staff, they were not friendly to start with, upon arrival (about 12pm) we were told to just park our luggage at a corner, no tags were assigned, no labelling, nothing. Then told to come back to do check-in at 3pm, they cannot any time earlier than that, so we left and came back at 3pm. At this point it was a female staff with bangs that helped us, I showed her the hotel booking email and she said she wants the Trip.com booking app page, I showed her and she said she wants to see the booking ID. I showed her that too and at this point she said ”read it out to me”. The booking ID was on my phone screen and she didn't even bother to see it, and wants me to READ IT ALOUD TO HER. Maybe she's dyslexic? I don't know. Then I added on one extra day of stay which did not reflect on the paper that she asked me to sign so I pointed that out and she double confirmed that it was printed wrongly. Fast forward a few days, all of our access cards were not able to work for our same rooms that we stayed, I assume it is because she did not grant the correct number of days upon check in, which also resulted in some inconvenience going to and fro the room and counter. And that same staff carried the same attitude when renewing the faulty access cards. Every morning the breakfast service staff was rude as well, like I owed her a million dollars or something, ”you which room? you sit here”. One morning she came to me ”how many people in your room? not 2 person?”, I stayed alone in a 3pax family room with no changes at all. I really dread breakfast everyday. When we checked out there was a new crew of desk staff which was much better in terms of attitude and service, it was the weekend team. I had 2 more weeks of stay in Tainan and I moved to another hotel. Overall I will not stay in this hotel ever again, other than the service, everything is great.

the penthouse is just nice to fit 7 pax of us, including the extra mattress for a kid. We love the penthouse which we have our own hot spring bathtub and steam room. The facilities are good, they have public and private facilities pools. The hotel opens the pools to outsiders also, so it might be quite busy and crowded for the public pools facility. Please prepare some snacks or instant food before you go to stay as there is no convenient shops or mini market nearby. you have to walk about 20mins to go to the nearby town. The reception sells instant noodle cups but always out of stock. But there is restaurant in the hotel. The hotel is not new but still good and manageable, they are still practiced the old system which is using hand written record for guests booking. There is no bell boy to help you on the luggage, we have to carry one by one to our hotel room, which car is not reachable to your door steps. And the road to your room is slopes. Hotel staff services are just okay, not very hospitality impressions for us as foreigners. We love the public pools, there are over 10+ different types of hot spring pools in the hotel.

Ich habe leider vergessen, Fotos vom Inneren zu machen, aber die Lage ist wirklich super. Man kann alles bequem zu Fuß erreichen. Ich habe das Einkaufsviertel Guohua-Youai, Ximen Asakusa, die Hai'an Road, die Schneckengasse, das Kaufhaus Hayashi, das Kunstmuseum und das alte Bezirksgericht besucht. Dieses Mal war ich zwei Tage dort. Das Zimmer hatte eine Badewanne, und das Waschbecken befand sich außerhalb der Toilette. Im Aufenthaltsraum im zweiten Stock gab es Kekse und Getränke sowie einen großen Fernseher. Das Gepäck konnte sowohl am An- als auch am Abreisetag aufbewahrt werden, was sehr praktisch war.

Jeden Morgen hat die Tainan-Soppe sehr gute Merkmale und ist sehr lecker; die Gesundheitsumgebung ist sehr gut, der Verkehr ist auch bequem, die Rezeption und die Service-Einstellung des Personals sind auch sehr gut.

Das Hotel ist alt und zeigt. Es gibt viele Pools im Onsenbereich und Gäste müssen Schwimmbads und Schwimmkappen tragen. Die Zimmer sehen aus, wie sie renoviert werden müssen, aber alle öffentlichen Bereiche und Pools sind alt und die Sauberkeit kann verbessert werden. Die Auswahl am Frühstück ist grundlegend, aber für das, was wir bezahlt wurden, ist gerecht. Die Rezeptionisten am Frontdesk sind sehr nett und hilfreich.

Das Hotelservicepersonal ist gut, vor allem wenn ich mich sehr gemütlich und freundlich begehrt habe. Das Innenzimmer ist sauber und schlafend, und das Badezimmer ist auch trocken. Aber es ist etwas merkwürdig, dass es keine ”Bitte stören” gibt. Es ist sehr zu empfehlen, dass dieser Preis

Wir haben eine Nacht an einem Wochentag hier verbracht. Wir fühlten uns, als wären wir die einzigen Gäste? Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Zimmer war beim Betreten sehr gemütlich, aber es roch unangenehm. Als wir das Badezimmer öffneten, stellten wir fest, dass es die Toilettenrohre waren. Es stellte sich heraus, dass es keinen Abluftventilator gab, sodass die Belüftung ausschließlich über das Badezimmerfenster erfolgte, was nicht sehr effektiv zu sein scheint. Die Lichtgestaltung im Zimmer und Badezimmer gefiel mir sehr gut. Der Wasserdruck in der Dusche war stark und sehr angenehm. Aber Vorsicht: Im Duschraum hängt ein Hinweis. Die Dusche wird mit einem elektrischen Durchlauferhitzer betrieben, daher ist es am besten, zwischen den Duschen 10 Minuten zu warten, sonst geht das heiße Wasser aus. Mein Freund beschwerte sich mitten in der Nacht über ein Jucken, aber es gab keine Anzeichen von Insektenstichen. Wir vermuten, dass es Staub sein könnte, da unter der Woche niemand hier übernachtet hat und das Zimmer schon länger gereinigt wird.
