Das B&B liegt in einem Dorf, in das nicht viele Touristen kommen. Die Einheimischen, einschließlich der Familie des Besitzers, sind recht einfach und ehrlich. Sie erledigen ihre Geschäfte langsam und gemächlich. Sie sind jederzeit herzlich eingeladen, auf eine Tasse Tee vorbeizukommen, und es ist auch in Ordnung, wenn Sie nichts kaufen möchten. Das Zimmer war sauberer als erwartet und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, was auch von Hoteliers der gleichen Branche anerkannt wurde. Die Umgebung ist wunderschön, das Dorf ist ruhig und von der Dachterrasse aus kann man wunderbar das Wolkenmeer betrachten.

The environment was very comfortable and relaxing. Beautiful view whwre you can see some of the sea of clouds. They give you disposable coverings for you to put on top of the fresh pillow bedding and mattress for extra hygiene which is a nice touch I haven't seen before. Bathroom is very clean, though there are only two toilets and two showers and two sinks, so do note that for busy season, but it wasn't an issue at all during my stay. They provided breakfast too, fresh milk the boss heated for me when I got up, and red sugar glutinous rice cakes wrapped in banana leaves (babas), and it was fun to get ready for the day with new friends on the balcony overlooking the village. I think the environment is very good for meeting new friends and other solo travelers- I arrived at the hostel randomly at the same time as three other girls, and we explored Manghong togetjer on the boss's recommendations for itinerary and sightseeing. And the next day the boss dropped us off at a tea roasting experience, and just as we were heading to Nuogan another girl from the hostel finished her tea roasting session, so we all went to Nuogan togetjer to play. The boss even helped load my luggage onto the shuttle bus so that it could pick me up at a sightseeing spot further down the mountain!

Das Hotel ist in der Altstadt, es ist sehr bequem zu schmücken, der Boss ist sehr enthusiastisch, aktiv helfen, die leckere Küche in der Altstadt vorzustellen, der Ort, an dem es Spaß gibt (¯▽¯) 👍, ist, dass viele Geschäfte in der Altstadt dekoriert werden, es ist gut für eine Zeitspanne, im Allgemeinen ist es immer noch gut, der Boss hat auch das Zimmer aktiv aktualisiert, Sehr ruhige Nacht, sehr komfortabel schlafen, die sanitäre Schwester ist auch sehr enthusiastisch 🤗

Exceeded all my expectations of a boutique homestay with only six rooms . Ultra luxury linens and beddings , ,Panasonic view of sea clouds at the confer of your bath tub , tasteful contemporary chinese interiors , and to top it all , run by a simple humble couple who goes to ends to make your stay a comfortable one . When you stay for 3 nights or more , they cook up a storm of local delicacies for your dinner , on top of daily breakfast! Do be prepared breakfasts are local style . Bit there’s a great cafe nearby service Arabica yunna beans and it’s become one of my fave ! Def great value for money !

Das Hotel wurde bewertet, der Gastgeber des Hotels wurde von Yunnan Weiss berichtet. Das Hotel ist sehr schön. In den Zimmern kann man Sonnenaufgang sehen, der Service ist besonders gut und sehr zufrieden. Gut zu trinken, ich habe Tee gekauft, als ich zurückkam.

Ich habe gerade diesen schönen Ort verlassen, der von einer noch schöneren Dame gehört wird. Bitte zögern Sie nicht, es zu buchen. Sie werden es nicht bedauern. Lassen Sie mich zunächst sagen, dass Sie, wenn Sie ein ausländischer Passinhaber sind, nicht besorgt sind, sie alle willkommen heißen. In Bezug auf die Sauberkeit definiert dieses Haus die Bedeutung von “sparkling sauber.” Es ist buchstäblich unspottbar. Das Gasthaus ist so schön dekoriert. Der Teekonfiguration, der Garten, der kleine Balkon zum Frühstück, alles fühlt sich besonders. Das Bett ist sehr komfortabel, und alles funktioniert perfekt. Ich werde hier 100% wieder bleiben, wenn ich in der Gegend bin und empfehle es allen meinen Freunden.

Freunde: bleib nicht hier. Die schlimmste Erfahrung, die ich jemals versucht habe, zu überprüfen - und ich habe in den letzten sechs Jahren in Yunnan in viele entfernte Orte reist. Das Personal hat keine Anhaltspunkte für Regeln und Vorschriften, obwohl ich ihnen die aktuellen Regeln für Ausländer gezeigt habe, die in China reisen. Sie wollten mich vom Hotel verlassen, weil sie nicht herausfinden konnten, wie ich mich reinchecken, obwohl ich sehr hungrig und müde war und wollte früh zu essen und zu Bett gehen. Sie kamen um 10 Uhr in mein Zimmer, aber sie konnten noch nicht herausfinden, wie ich mich ansehen konnte. Und hier ist das Schlimmste: um 8 Uhr öffnete der Manager die Tür meines Zimmers und ging ohne Schlag. Es gab keine Schließung oder Ketten. Glücklicherweise war ich nicht in der Dusche. Schrecklicher Ort, der mich als Ausländer extrem unwohlfühlte. Sie machten mich wegen ihrer Inkompetenz und dummen Taten wie ein Krimineller fühlen. Sehr anders als die meisten Orte, wo Personal hilfreich ist, auch wenn es ein wenig komplizierter ist.

The YU MI apartment was clean and as beautiful as on the pictures. We stayed 2 nights and managed to use most of the apartment amenities such as a washing machine, TV (English speaking movies included), WIFI (fast and reliable), kettle and hair dryer. The bathroom was spacious and equipped with a western toilet. The stuff was very kind and helpful, they went the extra mile to assure our satisfaction, whether by storing our luggage or borrowing to us a knife for cutting fruits. The area has plenty of good restaurants right in front of the building (inside/around the shopping mall). At night a street market pops up with tasty food. And for those enjoying coffee or tea, the shopping mall offers plenty of shops selling local tea and coffee. We highly recommend to stay at Yu Mi.

All the reviews are true, but it’s not the wooden building that causes it.  Yes, it is very loud and you hear everyone. We’ve stayed in other fully wooden places, it’s worse here. Maybe not the wood but the guests are the problem. Loud Chinese people, walking the stairs with the heaviest pace you can imagine. Maybe help the other guests by hanging some warnings on the stairs: please be mindful for the other guests when walking to your room.  Also loud Chinese tourist on the square below. Not only while eating they scream all over the place, also with the tea ceremony nobody asks them to please stop talking after 23:00/24:00. We were up till 02:00AM because of tea drinking Chinese people at the fire. We stayed in the suite, which is located above the fire pit. Maybe the other rooms are less noisy. At 7AM each morning, somebody ran down the stairs. We think it’s the staff. It wakes you up through your earplugs.  The staff is OK. They are very shy, not rude. They could be more pro active though as we didn’t feel like they wanted to do something.. which is different to rude but also not very friendly.  The other villages around are way bigger and less cozy than Wengji. Also, with this guesthouse being just next to the town, it was perfect to escape the tourists most of the time. We didn’t find other accommodations in Wengji with the same aesthetics as Shishi guesthouse so we can’t recommend other places better than this. Maybe if the guesthouse would invest in trying to keep the noise down under the various guests, with text signs or with clearer house rules (fire pit), the noise problem wouldn’t be as bad.  Maybe if they tried to enthusiast their staff more and keep them from watching Chinese drama shows on their phones all day, they would be a bit more welcoming.  We’ve met a lot of amazing people in Wengji, it’s definitely not the locals that have this behaviour.  Lastly, the suite has a cubicle bathroom in the room, they really don’t clean this well. It smells very bad and just feels dirty all over.  For comfort this place is too expensive, for the location and aesthetics you won’t find better options nearby.

Hygiene: Das Zimmer war sehr sauber. Ausstattung: Die Ausstattung ist komplett und bietet alles, was Sie brauchen. Umgebung: Die Umgebung ist sehr gut, die Landschaft ist gut, die Lage ist gut und Sie können den Sonnenaufgang vom Balkon aus beobachten. Service: Der Vermieter war sehr nett. Er lud uns zum Tee ein, gab uns viele Reisetipps und organisierte Reiserouten für uns. Empfehlen Sie dieses!
