the room ok but dated. took 5 minutes for water to get hot and toilet would hardly flush. the breakfast was good every monring.

I have stayed a few times here and it’s always been great. This time I booked the King Deluxe and the room is huge! Jacuzzi tub is really large too. In the summer there is a pool. They have free bikes, tennis courts and a bonfire pit. There is a great quiet beach a few blocks away.

Great area ,great ambience and great attn. to detail. Two blocks from the lake.We stayed in the bed and breakfast in a suite with a Jacuzzi which was awesome and the breakfast was just what we needed to start our day. So much hospitality from the owner Jim, he was so kind. We will be staying there again. Thanks again Jim.

We visited South Haven and did not have plans to spend the night. At last minute decided to stay. Victoria Resort was quick to call us back and arrange our stay that night. All was done on phone very easily. Gave us the best room at very reasonable rate. Room was spotless and very comfortable. The housekeeper and innkeeper were both very friendly and helpful. Breakfast the next morning was outstanding prepared by the innkeeper. Can't wait to go back

The host was kind and had my room ready to go prior to me arriving. I had to leave early and was not able to get the breakfast so they made sure I had food for the morning. It was very kind! It was quiet and cozy. I would recommend anyone staying.

I spent 2 November nights at the inn in a 2nd floor queen bedroom. The room was very comfortable and spacious, yet cozy. The inn and property are very clean and well maintained. The location is great- walking distance to the beach to listen to the waves & watch the sunset. It was the perfect place to stay for a relaxing & quiet weekend in South Haven.

Charming “old world” resort, but with all the amenities you need. We came to meet some friends for a pre thanksgiving visit. So we didn’t make use of some of the facilities etc that would be great in the summer. However we had a wonderful time and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier and the breakfasts were great. Because it was low season we got these delivered rather than using the dining room. A lovely treat. I would stay here again and recommend. South Haven has a lot to offer a visitor.

We recently had a somewhat peculiar experience at this B&B. We visited with our 5-year-old, only to receive a call from the owner informing us that children were not welcome. This was quite surprising, especially considering the presence of a playground and a life-size chess set on the premises. The owner explained that guests typically choose B&Bs for a child-free environment, a policy we were unaware of. He suggested we should compensate for what he deemed our oversight. This situation made our stay rather uncomfortable, as it felt like a simple misunderstanding was used as an opportunity for the owner to express his frustrations. Despite this, we voluntarily paid extra for our child's breakfast and also left a tip for our breakfast server. Elizabeth, our server, was pleasant and professional, despite what seemed to be some tension in her communications with the owner. Her demeanor was a positive contrast to that of the owner.

We greatly enjoyed our time at the resort. We were greeted when we drove in the drive. Everyone was so helpful in explaining where the rooms and breakfast were going to be Offered bikes to ride to the beach and lawn chairs to borrow to enjoy the beach. The room was spacious and breakfast in the morning was perfect and served with a sweet smile. We felt like family as we left to return home.
