Das Hotel und die Zimmer sind großartig und die Lage ist sehr gut.

My husband and I stayed at Maison Il Conservatorio after a week traveling through the Puglia region of Italy. We traveled with a tour group and decided to add 3 days in Sorrento at the end by ourselves. We had a range in quality of hotel rooms (stayed in 4 hotels total) and Maison Il Conservatorio was probably the best in terms of location, comfort, design, and hospitality. First, my favorite- it is so convenient to everything. You can walk almost everywhere from where this hotel is located. We took the ferry from Naples to Marina Piccolo, and was able to walk to the hotel (walked past all the lidos to the Sorrento lift). It wasn’t the easiest walk ever, but it wasn’t terrible! We were also able to stop by our room in the middle of the day for a rest and just pop back out. However, it wasn’t so in the middle of everything- we had no issues with noise! We also walked to marina grande for a Capri boat tour, which took 15 minutes. We did not take a single taxi in Sorrento. Second, the design. There were plugs and usb outlets right by the bed. We stayed at 2 hotels where there were outlets, but only one or two, and they were across the room. Aesthetically, it was cute, clean and comfortable, but not sterile- we stayed at another hotel with all the comforts and necessities, but we could have been anywhere in the world with its gray and black rooms. The bathrooms were amazing, and the showers were huge. The water temperature and pressure was perfect, which was not the case in some of the other places we stayed! Third- the price- we probably spent less on a 3 days stay here than one night at the Bellevue Syrene. Take my advice- stay here and go to the Syrene for dinner/drinks. It’s a 3 minute walk away! One caveat- the hotel isn’t necessarily designed like a typical hotel. You enter into a long hallway with a few stairs and then open a door to get into the main part of the hotel. It was confusing when we first arrived, but there are signs everywhere. We had no issue with this after the first time. We will absolutely stay here if we are lucky enough to go to Sorrento again!

Der Campingplatz liegt ca. 30 Minuten zu Fuß weg vom Hafen von Sorrento der Campingplatz bietet jedoch einen Shuttelbus ins Stadtzentrum. Wir waren leider vom Strand entäuscht da er nicht wie auf den Fotos war deshalb auf die Strände in Sorrento ausgewichen. Vorallem mit Kindern finden wir es sehr gefährlich ins Wasser zu gehen da doch sehr hohe Wellen ständig gegen die Fels schlagen. Das Personal was stehts sehr freundlich und Hilfsbereit. Die Sanitärnlagen sind noch sehr veraltet zb. Haben bei den Männern keine Toiletten mehr Klobrillen. Für den Reise die mit der Fähre die umliegenden Orte besuchen wollen ist der Campingplatz Perfekt jedoch den ganzen Tag auf dem Resort zu verbringen ist in unseren Augen nicht zu empfehlen. Das Restaurant welches der Campingplatz bietet hat uns sehr überzeugt das Preisleistungsverhältnis war sehr gut doe Speisekarte ist sehr groß und deckt von Fisch, Fleisch und Pizza alles ab. Auch hier sehr nettes Personal.

This hotel was formerly a convent and is adjacent to a beautiful church, and the setting is serene and beautiful. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff are so accommodating and helpful that you could not ask for more. The room my wife and I stayed in was lovely and the bed was so comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with a wide choice and the coffee was delicious. The staff were warm and friendly and the service given was among the best we’ve ever experienced. There is complimentary wi-fi ( a rarity these days with most establishments charging a small premium) . We had a lovely stay which was predominantly down to the staff and in particular a lovely lady named Theresa who always went out of her way and was so accommodating. Although the hotel is listed as a “Three Star” it feels like a “5 Star”. Stunning , and would not hesitate to stay here again.

Die Rezeption des Hotels ist sehr freundlich, uns beim Austritt zu rufen, obwohl es wirklich teuer ist, aber aufgrund der geografischen Lage ist es wirklich möglich. Innerhalb des Hotelzimmers ist sauber und sauber, der Preis ist super hoch Ich mag den Pool des Hotels sehr. Das Gefühl, das ganze Gebirge zu bewässern. Sehr gut! Das Zimmer hatte Probleme mit dem Windschutzscheibe zuerst und dann hat es uns das Zimmer angepasst, die Service-Einstellung ist sehr freundlich!

Very clean, bright, airy, family run hotel, in a superb location, with the most pleasant and helpful staff and amazing views especially from the pool and poolside restaurant/bar! Great air con, which is very quiet. Food and service excellent (sometimes breakfast options not replenished for those wanting a later breakfast!) Away from the hustle and bustle of town centre but everything easily accessible; 5 minute bus ride into centre of Sorrento, 2 minutes to Massa Lubrense (In Sorrento, we got on/off bus at petrol garage/La Fenice restaurant as at Marina Grande end of Corso Italia which is main shopping street, off which lots of lovely restaurants) Bus passes hotel in both directions every 20 minutes and costs 2 euro pp Hotel staff can arrange all excursions which are good value for money and include hotel pick up/drop off. Be sure to research what's available at your excursion destination and transport links so to make the best of your free time during the excursion and avoid missing anything! Staff are also happy to arrange taxis/airport transfers. The small, quiet beach of San Montano is walkable from hotel (approx 20 min). The hotel can arrange a shuttle to Marina di Puolo (approx 5min) and the stunning Regina Giovanna is a 5 min bus ride, followed by 20 min walk NB Walking to beaches is downhill, uphill return is more challenging! All well worth a visit. Massa Lubrense itself has a lovely town square and pretty port. There is an amazing restaurant there, Il Cantuccio, which has excellent food and wine and the most stunning views and sunsets. A visit to the traditional lemon farm near the hotel is a must to try making your own limoncello and have a fabulous lunch (can be arranged by the hotel)

Dieses Hotel war für uns eines von zweien in diesem kleinen, charmanten Ort an der Steilküste und wir waren recht zufrieden. Die Ortsmitte erreicht man innerhalb weniger Minuten zu Fuss, allerdings geht die Strasse bergauf. Die Doppelzimmer bieten einen seitlichen Balkonblick auf das Land und das Meer und sind sehr sauber, alles im Bad funktionierte, das Bett war bequem. Es war sehr schön, dass wir das Frühstück auf der Terrasse im Freien einnehmen konnte, wegen der Covid 19 - Massnahmen wurde man am Buffet bedient, auch mit Eierspeisen. Sehr schön und gepflegt sind der Liegenbereich am Pool, die dortigen Duschen/WCs und schliesslich der wunderbare Infinitypool selbst! Zu der Strandplattform am Meer gelangt man mit dem gebührenpflichtigen Shuttlebus innnerhalb weniger Minuten; es gibt dort Liegen, Sonnenbetten und einen kleinen Kiosk und man kann bequem über eine Alutreppe ins Meer und von dort aus direkt losschwimmen. Etwas lächerlich war jedoch, dass uns trotz der starken Sonneneinstrahlung untersagt wurde, die vorhandenen Sonnenschirme zu benutzen - offenbar wegen des herrschenden Windes war man um deren Heil besorgt, na ja.

Die Lage, hoch über der Küste genau zwischen Amalfi und Positano, ist ein Traum, die Aussicht von den Balkonen der Zimmer atemberaubend schön. Bei gutem Wetter sieht man nach rechts die Insel Capri und nach links den Vesuv. So viel zum positiven... Das Hotel und die Ausstattung ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen, die Betten durchgelegen, die Spiegel im Bad teils blind. Das geht auf jeden Fall besser. Teils obskure Details wie Einzelblatt-Toilettenpapier-Spender oder Handtücher mit der Dicke von Tischdecken bestätigen das Bild, dass hier noch von den glorreichen Zeiten vor etlichen Jahren gezehrt wird. Wir haben 4 Tage hier verbracht und an JEDEM Abend gab es eine Hochzeitsfeier im Hotel, so dass man auch nicht abends die Aussicht auf dem Balkon in Ruhe genießen konnte, weil mal mit mehr, mal mit weniger gutem Musikgeschmack lautstark gefeiert wurde. Auch das Restaurant war komplett für diese Feiern reserviert und stand den übrigen Gästen nicht zur Verfügung. Die Servicekräfte waren ab Nachmittag immer alle in die Festivitäten eingebunden, einen Flaschenöffner bspw. haben wir erst bei der vierten Nachfrage bekommen. Wenn die gleichen Servicekräfte dann auch morgens beim Frühstück Dienst haben (bei dem es immer die Kuchenreste der Hochzeitsfeier des Vorabends gab, nichts gegen Resteverwertung, aber das sah schon arg zermanscht aus), dann habe ich sogar Verständnis dafür, dass sie zu müde sind um einen guten Morgen zu wünschen. Alles in allem haben wir uns wie Lückenfüller gefühlt. Eine Information/Warnung bei Buchung wäre in jedem Fall angebracht gewesen. Über die alte Ausstattung hätten wir ansonsten vielleicht noch hinwegsehen können.
