Nach einem Tag voller Trubel und Heiterkeit in Sorrent und Umgebung haben wir uns immer auf diesen Ort gefreut. Man hat die wunderschönste Aussicht auf die Stadt und das Meer und ist doch in einer Oase der Ruhe. Die Zimmer sind großzügig geschnitten und haben alles was man braucht. Selbst eine kleine Terrasse auf der wir frühmorgens den Garten genossen habe. Was das Hotel aber zu einem sehr privaten Erlebnis macht ist der Service der durch Maria und Ihr Personal erbracht wird. Beim Check-In auf der Terrasse, mit einem Stück Kuchen und Limonade, wurden wir nach Unverträglichkeiten gefragt. Da eine Erdnussallergie bekannt ist wurden alle Speisen ab dem nächsten Tag ohne Erdnussprodukte hergestellt. Außerdem wird beim Frühstück sehr auf regionale und saisonale Produkte wert gelegt. Wir wären so gerne länger geblieben und werden gerne wiederkommen.

Wunderschöne Aussicht | herrliches und üppiges Frühstück | heißer Pool auf der Dachterrasse | sauber und sicher | sehr nette Besitzerin und Personal | man läuft ein wenig bis in die Innenstadt aber das hat uns nichts ausmacht | wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

Warum gibt es bei Tripadvisor nur 5 Sterne? Diese Unterkunft hat mindestens 10 verdient. Super Empfang, die selbstgemachte Zitronenlimonade ist sensationell, die Betten (Aussage meiner Frau: man schläft wie eine Prinzessin), das Bad, der Ausblick, das Frühstück und der selbst gebackene Kuchen ... Mehr geht einfach nicht. Kleiner Hinweis: Den Weg Abends in die Stadt, man sollte man das Auto nehmen. Wir konnten leider nur eine Nacht bleiben, sehr schade. My husband and I stayed here for ten days for our honeymoon. This hotel is absolutely first class. When I first walked in, the view took my breath away. Every morning you can tuck into a home made breakfast with a view of Vesuvius in the background- fantastic. Yes, the hotel is up the hill from the city centre , but this means that it is in a really quiet location compared to the very noisy centre of Sorrento. Plus, you might want an opportunity to walk off some of the pasta and pizza you have been enjoying during your trip! We stayed in the Junior suite which was very spacious and had nice touches like a Dyson hair drier in the bathroom. The best thing about this hotel though is the staff (Marika, Colomba and Maria were the stand out stars for us). They are so kind and friendly and happy to help with any requests. They were able to arrange pick up transport to and from the airport and help us with restaurant recommendations too.

We had a marvelous stay at the Villa Oriana. The grounds are clean and gorgeous and the views are so amazing and allow for a sense of peace and relaxation. Our accommodations were comfortable and spacious. The staff there work hard to meet your needs and Maria, the owner personally takes time to make sure you are happy and comfortable. Breakfast there was often the highlight of our stay. We looked forward to the spread each morning! Fresh fruit and juice, coffee, yogurt, homemade baked goods, meats and cheeses...all delicious. We happened to come on the first day of opening in the spring season and we felt they were well prepared. The location is up on a hill more at the edge of Sorrento. If you are fit to walk and climb stairs, the stay is well worth the extra steps of the shortcut to town. But if not, you may need to factor in the costs of a taxi or car. We are a family with active teens so the shortcut stairs, although long and steep, were manageable. Overall, our stay there was lovely and we'd be thrilled to return one day!

We just checked out of Villa Oriana Relais. We had a lovely time. Maria and staff were so friendly, kind and made us feel so welcome and at home all the time. The breakfast every morning was beautiful and there are beautiful views while enjoying the breakfast. It was very clean and comfortable and so peaceful when you went inside the gate. Maria very kindly gave us some beautiful takeaway breakfast when we were leaving. We really enjoyed all Maria's home baking and are so glad we picked here for our stay in Sorrento and will hopefully return some day.

This is an absolutely wonderful place to stay! Maria and her staff are amazing, so accommodating and their hospitality is second to none. Fresh breakfast pastries every morning were delicious. The hotel is a bit removed from the hustle and bustle of Sorrento, so it’s nice and quiet with great views, but close enough to walk downtown!

This was stop #1 on our honeymoon in Italy and was definitely the highlight of the trip! The hotel and grounds are beautiful, and the staff were all super friendly and accommodating, especially when it came to booking tours--they were even able to arrange a massage for my wife after we arrived. Breakfast every morning was incredible: fresh fruit and juice, homemade cakes and pastries, and more. The room was clean, spacious, and quiet, with a beautiful view of the gardens outside and the water beyond. Everyone went above and beyond to make out stay relaxing and enjoyable! Just a heads up on Sorrento geography: Villa Oriana is on one of the hills in Sorrento, with the main part of town down below. It's easy walking distance from both Sorrento and Sant'angello, and there's a shortcut from the hotel into town, just be prepared to climb some stairs. (If you prefer not to walk, the hotel will also call a taxi for you!) Excellent experience overall!!
