Die Lage ist großartig im Zentrum. Sie können die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten auch zu Fuß oder mit der U-Bahn erreichen. Es gibt einen Supermarkt auf der anderen Straßenseite und es ist praktisch. Es gibt auch ein bulgarisches Restaurant in der Nähe. Das Zimmer hat eine Badewanne und der Komfort ist gut. Ich denke, das Gebiet ist ziemlich groß. Es war schade, dass das Restaurant gerade renoviert wurde und das Frühstück nur einfach war, wie Sandwiches, aber es war insgesamt ein gutes Hotel.

Die Lage des Hotels ist gut, 500 m von der Punch Bridge entfernt, die Zimmerdekoration ist alt. Restaurant und Service sind in Ordnung.

Personnel peut accueillant Belle vue , proximité métro , et pas loin de l’aéroport Hôtel qui a besoin d’être rénové. Douche bizarrement construite . Lit non fait pendant le séjour Drap changé la veille du départ Quel intérêt 🤔🤔pas de tapis de sol pour la douche

Als wir ankamen, um im Hotel zu parken, sollten wir wissen, wo wir parken und wohin wir gehen sollten. Dies machte die ersten 15 Minuten unerträglich. Uns wurde bei vielen Gelegenheiten gesagt, nicht hier. Bitte geben Sie in Zukunft positive Anweisungen. Das Hotel selbst war nach dem schlechten Anfang ausgezeichnet. Das Zimmer war sauber und mit einem guten Kühlschrank ausgestattet. Obwohl meine Frau das Bett und die Kissen als unbequem empfand, tat ich es nicht. Das Frühstück hatte eine gute Auswahl und der Essbereich war geräumig. BITTE BITTE BITTE bringt jemand dem Koch bei, ein Ei zu braten. Egal, ob Sie es vorziehen, ob es sich um leichtes, umgedrehtes oder hartes Eigelb handelt, alle Eier hatten einen fantastisch verbrannten Plastikrock. TIPP Verwenden Sie die richtige Ölsorte, drehen Sie die Hitze nicht so hoch, lassen Sie das Öl warm werden, bevor das Ei hineingeht, und verwenden Sie keine eiskalten Eier. Das Hotel organisierte Taxis für uns und diese waren ausgezeichnet.

I've never stayed anywhere else in Sofia so cannot comment on whether this is great for Sofia, but international 4* standard, it isn't. Most of the staff are lovely, apart from the member of staff who decided one evening that we were not allowed to have a glass of wine in the lobby bar because the bottle of wines were ”reserved” and ”for show” (the excuse changing from one minute to the next.) He couldn't explain who or why they were reserved or for show. The room servicing is, *interesting*. They say in the information in the room that the rooms are serviced daily. On the first day it wasn't serviced at all. The second, I asked it to be serviced and the towels replaced which they did but then (not joking) they screwed up the cover on the bed and put it in the corner, made half an effort to pull up the duvet, emptied a bin and did nothing else. Coffee and tea making facilities in the room is a real plus but they were not refreshed / refilled during our stay either, even when the room was ”serviced”. The bed was comfortable but one of those fit together beds rather than a true king size. It was huge but possible to get a bit caught in the middle. That said though, we didn't struggle with noise as other people did. The breakfast is fine. Typical central European type stuff and not the best quality but fresh fruit is always welcome. If it's a choice between room only at a cheaper price, I wouldn't recommend paying extra for it though. The door lock was a bit temperamental. It's worth checking it's genuinely locked behind you as ours didn't unless we carefully engaged the catch. There are safes though. The lifts were a bit dodgy as well. One obviously breaking down from time to time during our stay and be warned you need your room card to go up or down. Location wise it's superb and I'm not saying I wouldn't stay there again but for the price, which is not cheap for Sofia, the service needs a bit of an uplift. Also some attention to detail in the rooms would be good with a slight tear in the voile, wallpaper lifting etc. For British visitors though as this hotel is part of a Cooperative organisation, they have pictures of the first Rochdale COOP in some of the corridors. A funny little quirk if you know Rochdale. It's not the place you'd choose to decorate anywhere.

Ich bin früher als die Zeit des Aufenthalts angekommen, aber er will mich begrüßen. Obwohl es ein Hotel ist, hat jeder sein eigenes Zimmer und ein Schlafzimmer im Zimmer, so dass Sie Ihr Privatleben fest schützen können. Es gibt eine gemeinsame Küche, Sie können frei Kaffee und Tee trinken oder einige kleine Gerichte machen. Die Lage ist in der Nähe des Stadtzentrums, es ist gut! Wenn ich wieder nach Bulgarien gehe, möchte ich es verwenden.

This hotel is in an excellent location: about 10 minute walk from the bus/train station; 5 minutes walk to the metro; 20 minutes walk to the city centre. So from that perspective, it fit my needs perfectly. The staff I encountered were very friendly and helpful, so that was a major plus. The rooms, well, a bit of a mixed bag. While the rooms were VERY spacious, and had a great little balcony, from which I enjoyed a few drinks in the evening, the room really needed to be renovated. The word I described it is “shopworn”. Look at my photos of the room and you can see the broken couch and stained carpet. I would also say that the cleaning staff is a little lacklustre. While not “dirty” per sae, it certainly could be cleaned better. Some minor renovations and better cleaning would have me rating this hotel as a “five”.

Ja was für eine Überraschung ein kleines aber so feines Hotel mitten im Zentrum das Zimmer war groß und hat alles was man sucht und braucht sauber . Wifi, eine echte Dusche !! Bade Artikel wie Shampoo gel etc Flachbildfernseher Das Frühstück auch sehr ok aber - top die Rezeption !!!! So freundlich so hilfreich und aufmerksam - das habe ich bisher auch nicht nicht gesehen. Da brauche ich kein 5 Sterne Haus wenn ich hier übernachten kann

Mitarbeiter - nette Leute, auf die man sich verlassen kann. Zimmer - sauber, geräumig, gut gekühlt bei der Hitze von 28 und mehr.” Frühstück - abwechslungsreich, nicht immer frisch in Bezug auf Gemüse und Obst. Sehr gut im Stadtzentrum gelegen - viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Ich habe einen unvergesslichen und angenehmen Aufenthalt im Grand Hotel Sofia wirklich genossen. Das Zimmer ist gut, sauber und sauber, ein Fleisch ist farblos, das Bett schläft komfortabel, der Servicepersonal ist gut.
