A lovely hotel in a beautiful part of the world. The rooms are spacious and very comfortably decorated in a very tranquil setting. The restaurant serves wonderful Greek food, freshly made by the amazing Nadia. Not only did she welcome at short notice, but she made us feel welcome and fed us delicious food from her restaurant. Highly recommend.

An expected gem of a hotel, in the mountains of the Peloponese! Near a charming village the hotel is set with a spectacular view of the surrounding valleys. With a sort of Lodge vibe, the rooms were large and very clean with all the modern amentities. Our hostess was pleasant and helpful.

It was an amazing experience! Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff, fantastic deliscious breakfast with fresh squeezed orange juice.

Stayed here three times so far (almost every year since 2018) and enjoyed each one! Nestled in a mountainous region off the beaten track, near wonderful villages and places to visit, there is always something new to explore and with good company is very enjoyable. The area around the hotel is wooded and my morning joging was always of immense pleasure. The hotel itself was conceived with good taste with separate areas to dine or have your coffee in the morning. There are not many rooms and this adds to the pleasure when being with a large company of friends, as there are few strangers around. The family running the hotel is ready to help and should be praised for their efforts. All in all I would (and will definitely) visit again.

If you want to experience a different side of Greece, a quiet escape from tourist areas, surrounded by remote mountains and thousands of acres of forest, then the Foresta is for you. More of a small rustic lodge or inn than a hotel, the Foresta exudes warm Greek hospitality -- owners Nadia and Christos can't do enough for guests -- but with a touch of sophistication too. We loved the natural appearance of the stone buildings and the stone and wood decor of our room. The decor is repeated in the lovely cafe-bar, which has an enormous wood-burning stove. The delicious food isn't typical tourist fare either -- it reflects more modern Greek cuisine, a seasonal menu with Peloponnese specialities, using locally sourced ingredients, including from Christos's family gardens. We also loved the proximity to the traditional village of Vlachokerasia -- a real place where real people live (don't look for any postcards here). And yet the Foresta is very convenient as a base for day trips to famous archaeological sites across the Peloponnese. But mostly it's the AMAZING views of the forest and Taygetos mountain range, and the clean mountain air, that caused us to return here -- and we'll be back again. We've been all over Greece many times so we know the Foresta is utterly unique -- it really is the "other" Greece -- tranquility surrounded by nature.

Μια μοναδική τοποθεσία με ένα καθαρό και ήσυχο δωμάτιο με φανταστική θέα! Το προσωπικό και οι ιδιοκτήτες του ξενοδοχείου ήταν πολύ εξυπηρετικοί και ευγενικοί. Το δείπνο με τα τοπικά εδέσματα και το πρωινό ήταν εξαιρετικά. Ένα διαμάντι σε ένα καταπληκτικό μέρος στην κορυφή του βουνού. Σίγουρα θα το επισκεφτούμε ξανά. Ευχαριστούμε!

Υπέροχη η διαμονή μας στο Foresta !!!Οι οικοδεσπότες Νάντια και Χρήστος πολυ φιλόξενοι Το ξενοδοχείο πεντακάθαρο σε όλους τους χώρους και το υπόλοιπο προσωπικό πολύ ευγενικό. Τα δωμάτιο μας είχε ανεμπόδιστη υπέροχη θέα προς το δάσος τηςΣκιρίτιδας Οι εξερεύνηση της περιοχής πολύ εύκολη γιατί το Foresta βρίσκεται στο κέντρο της ορεινής Αρκαδίας και σε μια ώρα maximum έχεις φτάσει στον προορισμό σου Επισκεφθηκαμε την Αγία Θεοδωρα, το Ελληνικό,Καρύταινα,Άνω Δολιανά,Άγιο Πέτρο την μονή Μαλεβής Καρυές,Βαμβακού και αφήνουμε το δάσος και τα μονοπάτια του για την επόμενη επίσκεψη μας!!!
