Very nice hotel. Everything looks perfect for me. Love the nasi lemak kambing during breakfast.

We had a very enjoyable time here. Everything was good about this hotel. Friendly staff. We were greeted by the friendly bellman at the parking lobby. They helps to send our luggage and belonging in front of our room. The check in process also fast. The room completely equip with all the necessities needed. They have fridge, iron & iron board. We had a pleasant stay at deluxe room facing the pool & seaview! We can catch a beautiful sunset from our room☺️. My kid enjoy the kidspool so much! They have few pools (kidspool and adult pool with different depth, the deepest is 2.5m). You can also enjoy their private beach. As it is private so only the hotel guest can have the access to the beach. The beach also beautiful and clean. We stayed here on new year eve and they even have fireworks at 12am! We can directly enjoy the fireworks from our balcony☺️. However it is quite noisy since there are families singing karaoke celebrating new year but ya dont really mind it since it is new year eve. Everyone wants to have happy moments. The only cons things is their breakfast. They serve variety of food but the taste is so-so. The beriyani chicken was salty and other menu also not reaching the 5-star hotel standard. The potato wedges for kids was really salty. I refrain my kid from eating the wedges. But the good things they have kids corner during breakfast. Overall my rate is 9/10☺️ Repeat again? Definitely YES☺️

Stayed for 1 night with 2 family rooms. Pros: The room was spacious, basic amenities in the room. They had swimming pools for kids and adults. For adults over 6” deep The beach was fairly clean & very nearby. Main reason we stayed here. Our families enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere There’s celebrations on NYE, we didn’t joined as we were knackered Cons: There’s only 1 lift for each wings Breakfast selections can be improved.

The resort is about 15km away from PD town so it was secluded and not crowded. However, I think the resort is under refurbishment since 1st July 2024 and my stay was on 30th Dec 2024. A lot of things need to be updated. The toilet bowl was faulty and couldn’t refill water itself to flush. The beach has a lot of small rocks and pebbles so don’t expect white sandy beach. They held a NYE countdown event at the lobby which was great for the guests and only lasted till 12:30am

We loved our stay at Thistle! The pool was large and clean and children enjoyed the separate children's pool. They had evening stalls by the pool with reasonable prices. Beach was right next to the hotel with no crowd. Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast variety was great too, the only thing is the egg station guy could cheer up a little haha. Thanks for the nice holiday Thistle!

Breakfast was delicious and variety of foods. Swimming pool was amazing and my children enjoyed the swim too and the pool had been great for them. I am really enjoying my vacation and the beach was so beautiful.

It's a beautiful place and near the beach. My gal likes the swimming pool and playground. The hotel's lift needs to wait for 5-8m. The room looked too old and the toilet water running made noise and didn't slept well. Dirty hair dryer.

Everything is so great for the first timer. There are a few issues, I understand it is an old hotel. The lift issues, but I understand there is in process up grading. The most disappointing is the power point to charge the handphone, only two available and not in good conditions, very dangerous. Now everybody has a handphone, please consider upgrading . Another issue is the toilet, whenever you go to the toilet to do your number one "business", you need to flush a few times until it gets clean. One flush to another you need to wait forever. The last issue is, the day I want to check out,the water is getting brown..so disgusting because you need to shower. Whenever you call for help they say they let the housekeeping know, but no one comes back with the answer. So I am checking out without a shower. Usually I didn't put any reviews but I like this hotel I wanted to come back with improvement. I love when you do some games at the pool for kids, but maybe next time give a more exciting gift.

Love the place especially the beach coz it privacy to hotel guest.room big.anyhow management need to improve chk in process.guest allow to Check in 3pm onwards,room ready almost around 4pm.not fair to guest.to add more staff at house keeping especially during weekend or eve time.when guest chk in room is ready.guest reminded to chk out punctual 12pm.2nd,no lamp at parking area especially during night n need to arrange staff to control at parking area,as u know some guest took 2 parking to park 1 car.wasted there.3rd,lift service under maintenance need to share with guest lift.lift need to be upgrade coz no sensor.need to wait so long.overall it great.

Great place even for short vacation. Love this hotel because of the activities, facilities, services and amenities. Huge swimming pool, lots of activities for the kids, spacious room, nice view. Easy access to the beach. This is the 5th time for us to stay in this hotel.

Beautiful resort in Port Dickson with its own access to the beach and sea. Lovely sea facing rooms. The sunset is beautiful don't miss it! Lots of food during breakfast but can be crowded.

Honestly, I don't think this hotel is 5 star, the breakfast was good, kids loved it. However, cleanliness can be improved alot. The toilets reek of urine smell and floor has strand of hairs, should be the turnover to fast not enough time to proper clean. But must admit the breakfast and staffs' service are commendable.
