VitaSol Park

Bei unserem vierten Besuch im VitaSol haben wir den Aufenthalt immer noch genossen, aber die Einrichtungen erfordern allmählich einige Investitionen und Renovierungen. Der Komplex ist etwa 15 Minuten zu Fuß von der Stadt entfernt, was die Anreise einfach macht, aber nach dem Abendessen und ein paar Bieren kann es schwierig sein, wieder den Mammuthügel hinaufzusteigen! Das Gelände ist ordentlich und gepflegt, kann aber mit einem Kinderwagen/Kinderwagen etwas schwierig zu navigieren sein. Ich denke, dass jeder, der auf einen Rollstuhl angewiesen ist, sorgfältig auswählen muss, in welchem ​​Teil des Komplexes er sich aufhält, um einen einfachen Zugang zu den Einrichtungen und zum Ein-/Ausgang zu gewährleisten. Das Zimmer war sauber und mit solider Ausstattung ausgestattet, wenn auch etwas altmodisch. Die Badezimmer müssten renoviert werden, sind aber keineswegs schlecht. Es wäre schön gewesen, statt nur der Badewanne eine Duschkabine zu haben. Unser Balkon war wie bei allen Zimmern riesig und ein toller Ort zum Entspannen oder Essen mit viel Platz für Gäste. Der Poolbereich ist das beste Merkmal des Komplexes. Er hat eine gute Größe und fällt in den Hügel hinein, um den Bereich vor dem Wind zu schützen. Es ist jedoch dringend renovierungsbedürftig, der Pool selbst hat viele kaputte Fliesen und einige ziemlich schmutzige, abgenutzte Stellen am Rand. Der Barbereich ist preisgünstig und das Essen ist größtenteils gut und die Portionen sind großzügig. Auch wenn der Oberkellner auf manche etwas mürrisch wirken mag, ist er doch wirklich nett und eine Art Legende. Ich bin mir sicher, dass wir irgendwann zurückkommen, aber ich hoffe, dass sie vorher etwas aufräumen.

A little far out of the town & away from the beach. The staff are excellent. The Little Shop is fairly good. The apartment was clean & comfortable however the hobs are a pain every time you clean them if you are not very careful you turn some of them on. Nice balcony. We were fortunate enough to miss the school kids. I can imagine it could be pretty noisy then as there is almost no soundproofing. If you don't have a car expect a Taxi to cost between 4.55 & 6 euros depending on the taxi company.

Worst experience we had in 4 months traveling. Firstly and most important for us - The Wi-Fi (for a fee) turned out to be a myth, there was not even a router or modem in the apartment, leaving us disconnected and frustrated (we are working remotly and had multiple meetings planned). We booked for 2 nights and left after 1, since they didn't find a solution for the internet. They also refused to refund us for the second night. 2.The room had a BAD smell. An extremely stuffy odor, that smelled like there was no ventilation for months. We had to open the window and balcony door in order to make it barable - but then we had the issue with the cold. It was very cold and rainy weather (9 degrees). We had to sleep with our coats on, because on top of it, the AC on the room was not working. 3.The BASIC hygienic amenities were non-existent -＞ no hand soap! Also, no dishwashing essentials, not even a water boiler or cutting board. 4.The staff was not helpful at all. The one staff member available agreed with us - but was not able to help and the manager refused to talk to us - despite multiple requests. I have never been so frustrated and disappointed from a place before. I am not usually reviewing stays, but this stay way beyond unpleasant. Would NOT recommend it to anyone. The place was clean though ...

Apartments are well situated for getting into Lagos centre and just a 5/10 min walk to the marina where there is lots of bars and restaurants. Note that there is a bit of a hill upto the hotel. The apartment itself is basic in style but it had everything needed for self catering (minus an electric kettle, just a small tea pot we used). One of the sofa beds wouldn’t pull out and as we arrived late the reception was closed as it’s not 24hr. However we got by using the other sofa bed along with the double bed. The bathroom is dated and the floor tiles could be doing with a good scrub but I think it’s just wear and tear. Balcony area was Lovely and very large! Pool area was lovely and also secure. Closest supermarket is 10 min walk down the hill to a ‘pointe doco’. The small shop along from reception has very limited hours. Overall a nice place to stay while we explored Lagos. And very reasonably priced too!

Wonderful for multi family trip. We all had our own different sized apartments. Mine was a one bedroom. Have to say that beds were not comfortable🙁. Facilities and the pool area with its excellent bar/restaurant was outstanding. Our kids’ ages ranged from 12-27 and ALL had a blast. Those Boss burgers were a huge hit!!! All the food was very very good. My biggest complaint was ONE key per unit. In this day and age we have gotten so used to each member having own key card. I know some units had a lock box for the key, that would have eliminated some frustration.

I wish my stay could have been longer. Food at the pool house was either very good or poor. I will be returning.

It was the first time that a rented a room and had no hand soap included. You need to pay an extra if you want the wifi and need to buy soap to wash the dishes.

the front door lock is not working and is difficult to open, the light switches are totally random, some do some don't work, the shower leaked and the head was falling off the wall no instructions on the heating, no mugs or correct size cups, very limited bowls plates etc, very very disappointed and expect a full refund, I visit Lagos many times and will be telling people to avoid this place if i do not receive a refund
