Incredible staff- very helpful and go out of their way to make reservations for ferry/airport transfer and dinner reservations. The Greek yogurt with fruit and nuts was outstanding.

We stayed at the hotel in August 2023. It was our honeymoon, and we were graciously upgraded to a suite. The suite was spacious and featured a balcony with an amazing view overlooking the sea and the islands' coast. The room was equipped with everything we needed, from towels to disposable toothbrushes and shaving blades - and more. The bed was large with a very comfortable mattress. We also had bathrobes and cozy fleece blankets for outdoor seating in the evening. In the room, there was a safety box with a digital code, a fan, a small coffee machine, an electric tea pot, tea, sugar, cups, and more. A lovely touch included a welcoming bottle of wine, small chocolates, and a regular supply of fresh fruits, which were added to our fruit basket throughout our stay. Additionally, we received two complimentary small bottles of water every day. Breakfast in the room was a fantastic option, allowing us to start our day in the comfort of our own space. The service was personalized, with the time and options chosen the day before, making it very convenient. Besides, the breakfast was very tasty! The room service was flawless, leaving us with nothing to complain about, and the room was consistently well-maintained. Although the swimming pool at the hotel wasn't very large, it was sufficient for relaxation. The limited number of guests at the hotel prevented overcrowding, allowing us the luxury of sometimes having the pool entirely to ourselves. The pleasant chill-out music in common areas contributed to a relaxing ambiance, further enhancing our overall enjoyment of the stay. The hotel itself, while small, was clean. They also offer spa and massage services, which need to be booked in advance. In essence, they provide everything for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Throughout our stay, the manager and staff were exceptionally helpful, making us feel well taken care of. Furthermore, the manager remained easily accessible via WhatsApp and provided substantial assistance with transfers to different places on the island. This considerate gesture significantly added to the overall convenience of our trip. The location of the hotel is also superb! It's close to many supermarkets and small grocery stores. The bus stop is also nearby. It is within walking distance to Fira (maybe 30-40 minutes) with fascinating views! We had a wonderful experience and enjoyed our time at the hotel and on the island, never regretting the choice we made.

Had an amazing experience at this hotel. The location is great, on the walk from Fira to Oia. You can see the sunset from the hotel. The rooms and pool are beautiful. The staff is so helpful. The hotel is affiliated with a car service Avantegard which will pick you up and drop you off wherever you need to be at a fee of course. The car service also provide a private tours at a fee of $60 an hour which is customized for you. The hotel also was very helpful and booked a cruise for us. Breakfast is served to your room every morning. I highly recommend this hotel.

We have just got back from the most incredible week staying at Avaton Resort and Spa. The location I don’t think you can beat on the island. The perfect sunset view and it is so quiet and peaceful! The staff go above and beyond to make sure you have the best time. Kostas is wonderful giving us recommendations for attractions and restaurants which were amazing! Azur’s attention to detail and service is top level and the chef was incredible! The food was really lovely, especially the breakfast, club sandwhich and pizza. Wow! If you have a few bags, on arrival you need to call the hotel as they will come and help bring them down the road as cars / taxis can’t get outside. But it’s only a short walk and the views are spectacular. We will 100% be coming back!!

What an amazing find… This hotel is perfect - spectacular views, very peaceful location and the most warm and welcoming staff. The manager, Kostas, was full of helpful recommendations and went out of his way to ensure we had the best holiday… We stayed in the honeymoon suite which was stunning, in particular the two balconies which had beautiful sunset views. We will definitely be coming back!

We stayed in this hotel with my friend and hotel is so lovely! We enjoyed so much and everything was perfect. The view from hotel is absolutely amazing and you can see the perfect sunrise straight from your own room. Also hotel staff and the owner were so welcoming and lovely. Hotel is small boutique hotel with only 9 rooms so there was peaceful atmosphere. We ate breakfast and lunch at hotel and the food was also delicious. There was also walking line from hotel to Fira with beautiful views and it tooked 15-20min to Fira. I would definitely recommend this place!

Our time at the Avaton Resort & Spa was really amazing. We were only there for a few days, but Kostas and his team, did everything and more, to make our stay as awesome and memorable for us, as possible ……so a really big ‘thank you’ to all the staff at Avaton ……you all exceeded our expectations! We stayed at the Honeymoon Suite (No. 1) where we had access to two balconies, both with stunning views, as well as having our own private jacuzzi . Breakfast in the room on the balcony was an absolute pleasure, and made for a great start to the day. We will certainly be looking to stay here again very soon and would recommend the Avaton Resort & Spa to anyone looking to visit Santorini in the very near future ……..you will not be disappointed !!

The Avaton was fantastic. It is kind of at the end of the “tourist” areas before you get to Oia which makes it nice and quiet compared to Fira or Firostefani. The honeymoon suite, room 1, had the best views out of all the rooms. The pool deck is shared but incredibly beautiful. We did not find better views throughout our travels in Santorini. Bessy and Zoe at the front desk are so helpful and are constantly checking on you to ensure you are attended to. They provide wonderful recommendations and will book you whatever you need. If you follow their advice, you will have a great time in Santorini. The daily breakfast was always good so make sure you take advantage of it. Every towel and sheet we had was great quality and very clean. The only negative is if you plan to go into Fira or Oia every night. They are a bit far by foot from Imerovigli but reception was always happy to book us a taxi. We absolutely loved the Avaton and would be back in an instant! Thanks!
