The location was great,right in the centre. There are lots of restaurants around,not far from the marina. Room was cleaned daily, and the towels were changed daily as well,water bottles given every day. Hotels restaurant was also great,with fresh and food. The heater was not on, but we had the aircon on and that was enough. Large and spacious bathroom with shower and hairdryer. Wardrobe was massive and had plenty of storage. Beds and pillows were really comfy and clean. The room was that big that we didn't have to close the buggy to have space ,and also we had the baby cot in the room. Do recommend this hotel!We liked everything!We did find weird that the duvet was covered in 2 sheets instead of 1 single duvet cover, but nothing big to bother us.

Having stayed six times at this hotel dating back to 2015 we decided to stay again as we wished to be near Sardinero. We have not experienced any of the issues identified by previous reviewers in any of these visits, in fact quite the opposite, the staff were welcoming and the rooms were in decent shape and always large. The price was high but for the luxury of a senior suite I was prepared to pay over the odds. On arrival we were told that no senior suites were available and we had been upgraded to the Imperial Suite. Sounds good, but here the good news ended Issue 1 the whirlpool bath didn’t work. Reported to reception and was quickly attended by the maintenance man who after breaking the tile to access the motor reset fixed the problem! Issue solved - nope. It lasted 20 minutes and then tripped all the electric. On reporting to reception the switch was reset but no whirlpool bath. Ok, we’re not here for the bath and having been offered a move the next day at 12 noon we decided to stick with the room as otherwise it appeared ok. Issue 2, the air conditioner sounded like a jet engine. It wasn’t so warm anyway so we tolerated this. Issue 3, at around 5 am it became clear there was multiple pigeons roosting in the roof space above the bed therefore couldn’t sleep until they stopped making noise. Should have moved but we are quite tolerant. Issue 4, around noon time the noise from the AC was so load we had to trip the electric breaker to stop it. Again we should have moved. Issue 5, on night 2 we were again awake for a significant period because of the lift continually moving even in the middle of the night. Issue 6, on night 3 again the lift was not moving up and down almost constantly. This seems to be the overnight cleaner moving items to the storeroom, and guess where this is, next to our room 601. I politely asked receptionist to ask the cleaner to stop and she said he was going home now so it would be ok. She couldn’t move us as there were no other rooms available. On approaching the hotel director the next morning she was aware of all the issues even knowing that the lift was noisy and kept people from sleeping. I was offered a free breakfast which I refused purely because there is no soap in the toilets and this is being used by waiters and chefs to prepare and serve food. After much argument I was told they would refund me the last night stay, still not received it though. All bored by now no doubt. This hotel had deteriorated badly in the 7 years we have visited. There are so many easy fixes to make it better but nobody seems to care. Lights don’t work - replace bulbs AC noisy - stop it vibrating Bath doesn’t work - either replace the motor or borrow from another room given the Imperial suite is the best room in the house Lift - get an engineer Noise - stop the cleaner working all night making noise No soap - buy soap The list is endless, we won’t be back and I wouldn’t recommend anyone else does either. So I stayed 3 nights here. Junior suite with sea view. I really enjoyed the stay. The bathroom was newly redone it seems, and very well cleaned. I say this as the bedroom was a bit outdated in furniture, but that for me didn't take away any of the enjoyment of the stay. Great view of the ocean and in quite a popular spot, as there were weddings and functions on Friday and Saturday. Good buzz, and great location if you want to be by the sea. The town is a 5 minute taxi drive costing around 5 euro. Quick speedy no fuss with taxis, as taxi rank is about 30 steps away. Staff were friendly in reception and that was very helpful, as there are not alot of English speakers around. They were very accommodating. I would like to add the food was average. Nothing special about the food, not alot of effort put in, but for me there is plenty around to eat, and it is all culturally and locally based. The breakfast was sub standard. Not worth it. Room service ends 10.30. And waiting staff seemed a bit uncomfortable, or a bit not interested. But not particularly anything that stands out. Clean, good views, bedroom outdated, bathroom well above standard, food is a no-go. So I give it 4 stars just because I had a really great time heading back to the hotel after visiting attractions and walks around the whole area.

Eine bessere Ausgangsposition für ein Hotel gibt es bei dieser Lage nicht. Spektakulär! Wer das Glück eines Zimmers mit Meerblick hat, genießt einen großartigen Blick auf einen herrlichen Strand. Hotel wurde offenbar kürzlich renoviert und bietet die für ein 4-Sterne-Haus adäquaten Annehmlichkeiten. Frühstück gut. Personal zuvorkommend. Parkplätze in dem Gebiet um das Hotel kostenfrei vorhanden. Nette Deko, nettes Ambiente. Ins Zentrum für 6€ mit dem Taxi oder 20 Minuten zu Fuß. Uneingeschränkte Empfehlung von uns.

This hotel is wonderful and is conveniently situated a short walk from the beautiful Sardinero beaches, restaurants and bars. The reception and bar/restaurant staff are friendly, professional and extremely helpful, they spoke English very well. The room was very clean and extremely comfortable with great views of the sea and the housekeeping service was second to none. The breakfast buffet is delicious, fresh and ample with something to suit all tastes and the evening meals are very varied with excellent service, although we only chose to eat here once due to the many other options to try in Santander/Sardinero! This is our second stay at this hotel and I’ve no doubt it won’t be our last!

Neue Struktur (im Juli 2022 eröffnet) in der Randlage in der Nähe der Tangentenverkehrsstrecken von Santander. Große, farbige und sehr angenehme gemeinsame Räume, freundliche und gemütliche Mitarbeiter, auch wenn die jüngste Alter irgendwann verraten die wenigen Erfahrungen. Nicht sehr geräumiges und eher wesentliches Zimmer mit der, sowohl kreisförmige als auch unkomfortable, die Dusche im Zentrum des Zimmers und nur die Toilette in einem sehr kleinen getrennten Raum. Wenn Sie ins Bad gehen, können Sie die gleiche Erfahrung wie die Astronauten in einem Soyuz. Gute Lärmlosigkeit, aber manchmal hört sich ein paar Sirenen. Ruhe war immer noch perfekt und auch die Betten waren komfortabel. Es war schwierig, ihn trotz Google zu finden: Der Eingang ist auf einer Sekundärstraße, wo es aber kein Kartell gibt; es würde nur einen Hinweis hinzufügen, um den Eingang zu melden. Wir haben drei Runden (von den Tangenten und heiligen Browser! ) vor der Einfahrt zu verstehen. Zwei Schritte gibt es auch einen Bushalteplatz. Kostenlose private Parkplätze um und unter der Unterkunft, aber ich weiß nicht, ob es genug Platz für alle Gäste gibt. Sehr problematische Klimaanlage: Es gibt Raumthermostats, aber funktionieren nicht oder sind nicht aktiviert, so die Luft wird Zimmer x Zimmer von einem Kontrollleiste bis zur Rezeption, die wir dreimal beantragt haben, sie zu bedienen, Dann senken Sie sie ab und schließen Sie sie ab in der Nacht, weil laut und störend angesichts der begrenzten Größe des Zimmers. Sehr negativ Wir haben nicht das Frühstück versucht, aber alles zusammen erschien ein guter Referenzpunkt für einen stop&go in der Nähe des Flughafens, wo es tatsächlich nicht viele Alternativen zu Santander gibt, während ich nicht empfehle, an die Besucher zu gehen die Stadt. Sicherlich die junge Verwaltung hat Verbesserungspunkte, aber die Struktur ist gut

due notti in coppia in questo hotel dove abbiamo trovato quello che ci aspettavamo dalle recensioni che avevamo visto. buon rapporto qualità/prezzo, check in e out semplice e veloce, gentile la receptionist, soddisfacente la pulizia e l'arredo, un pò piccolo il lavandino del bagno ma niente di grave, serve la macchina ma il parcheggio non è un problema. il centro città è a cinque minuti di auto. non c'è frigobar in camera e un solo distributore automatico all'ingresso

Beautiful, fully renovated historic building with excellent and extensive spa and wellness facilities. Very professional, helpful and friendly staff. Amazing breakfast in terms of both quality and choice. Very comfortable and clean rooms. The underground parking has very spacious parking slots. A short drive from Santander but away from the crowds and noise of the city (especially during festivals). Very good value for money - a 4* hotel for 5* service and facilities.
