Das Hotel liegt tatsächlich am Ende der Straße. Etwas abgelegen absolut ruhig mit einer tollen Aussicht. Das Personal ist freundlich und kompetent. Unser Zimmer im 4. Stock mit Balkon war etwas klein aber sauber mit guten Betten. Leider hat der Zimmersafe kein elektronisches Schloß. Der Frühstücksraum ist ideal aufgeteilt mit einer super Auswahl. Der schöne jedoch kleine Hotelpool muß vorreserviert werden, da nur einzelne Gäste ihn gleichzeitig benutzen können. Aber es gibt einen tollen Strand, erreichbar nach wenigen Metern.

We have stayed numerous times at this hotel on our return to the UK by ferry....the hotel is always clean with good twin rooms and ensuite; the rooms may not be the most spacious, but very acceptable for an overnight stay. Very friendly reception staff and car parking both open and closed but under surveillance. Close to some restaurants and bars and a 10 minute walk to the main shops alongside the sea. Pet friendly. Breakfast is good. Charges apply to parking and pets!

Everything about this place was fantastic, we couldn't have asked for anything better. Check in was done online before we flew, so, after a complimentary glass of Cava, we were straight up to our rooms. The room was lovely, clean and spacious with a balcony overlooking the city (paid upgrade), coffee machine and pastries re-stocked each day. Daniel, the concierge, was outstanding and couldn't have done more to assist us; he really added to our experience and provided us with everything we needed, including a map with the hotel, best restaurants and tourist destinations marked out. The hotel was 10 minutes walk to the waterfront and downtown (depending on your walking pace) and everything you needed was very close-by. We would 100% recommend and would love to return in the summer. Thank you!

Schönes Hotel, sehr gut in Santander mit allem in Fußgängerfernung. Unglaublich saubere, sehr schöne Zimmer, vor allem die Superior Doppel und das Personal an der Rezeption waren sehr hilfreich. Es gibt ein sehr schönes Frühstückszimmer und eine kleine Bar, mit einem schönen Außenbereich. Das Hotel war für den gesamten Aufenthalt ausgeschlossen (gebrochen oder ausgeschaltet, wir konnten nicht ganz aus dem Boden) und es war unsaisonal sehr heiß, vor allem für die oberen Etagen, die die Sonne erwischt. Um fair zu sein, wurden wir mit einer Preissenkung ausgeglichen. Passen Sie auf, wenn Sie einen Taxi vom Flughafen fangen (c.E20) da wir alle ursprünglich an die falsche Stelle geliefert wurden, da es andere Hotels mit ähnlichen Namen gibt. Stellen Sie sicher, dass Sie dem Taxifahrer einen klaren Hinweis auf den Namen und die vollständige Adresse geben. Insgesamt einen schönen Aufenthalt und wir würden wieder dorthin gehen.

From the outside the hotel doesn’t look like much but the interior more than makes up for it. Welcomed very nicely by staff and was easy to find our room. Room was a great size and lay out and the bed was incredibly comfy. There were always staff available if needed but we didn’t have any problems. The hotel was in a great location and the beaches and restaurant were lovely.

We stayed at the hotel twice, at the start and end of a stay in the region, and had a great time on both occasions. The room (we were allocated the same room on both nights which was a pleasant surprise) was well located and tidy, and the facilities were very useful. We didn't eat at the hotel but had a lovely drink at the bar, which was very pleasant. The hotel is very well located in Santander also, close to all of the necessary amenities, including roughly a direct ten minute walk from the bus station for the airport transfer and coaches out of the area. This was our first stay at a Silken brand hotel, and we would now be very confident in returning on future visits to any other hotels in this chain as long as it was as good as Coliseum!

Guter Standart, tolle Lage, sauber -＞ aber wir hatten leider wieder ein Bookingzimmer. Zimmer war leider zur Seite, recht dunkel. Tv funktionierte erst nachdem der Mechaniker da war. Es gab ein stetes Brummen (kam von der Elektroverteilung) und das Bett quietschte sehr. Das Frühstück hat uns gar nicht gefallen!!! Es gibt zwar eine gute Auswahl, aber was bringt sie, wenn es nicht gut schmeckt ..? Personal ist sehr unaufmerksam und hat scheinbar keine Freude am Job, das merkt man als Gast leider sehr schnell (beim Frühstück und in der Bar). Parkplatz kann für 17€ pro Tag gemietet werden, man findet in der Umgebung aber auch kostenfreie Parkplätze. Die Gäste hier sind durchweg alt. Als junger Mensch, fühlt man sich etwas fehl am Platz.

Nach viel Kunst in Bilbao, wollten wir die Küste Nordspaniens kennenlernen und waren 5 Tage in Santander. Das Eurostars Hotel Real war eine gute Wahl. Die Lage ist super. Wir hatten von unserem Zimmer einen wunderbaren Blick über Palmen auf das Wasser. Das Zimmer und Bad war frisch renoviert, mit überaus bequemen Betten. Der Frühstücksraum hat uns gefallen, allerdings war die Qualität und das Angebot des Frühstücks nicht einem 5 Sterne Haus entsprechend. Wir haben zweimal am Abend im Restaurant gegessen, wurden bestens bedient und das Essen war hervorragend. Der Service im ganzen Haus war tadellos. Wir hatten sehr schöne Tage in diesem Hotel.

Having stayed six times at this hotel dating back to 2015 we decided to stay again as we wished to be near Sardinero. We have not experienced any of the issues identified by previous reviewers in any of these visits, in fact quite the opposite, the staff were welcoming and the rooms were in decent shape and always large. The price was high but for the luxury of a senior suite I was prepared to pay over the odds. On arrival we were told that no senior suites were available and we had been upgraded to the Imperial Suite. Sounds good, but here the good news ended Issue 1 the whirlpool bath didn’t work. Reported to reception and was quickly attended by the maintenance man who after breaking the tile to access the motor reset fixed the problem! Issue solved - nope. It lasted 20 minutes and then tripped all the electric. On reporting to reception the switch was reset but no whirlpool bath. Ok, we’re not here for the bath and having been offered a move the next day at 12 noon we decided to stick with the room as otherwise it appeared ok. Issue 2, the air conditioner sounded like a jet engine. It wasn’t so warm anyway so we tolerated this. Issue 3, at around 5 am it became clear there was multiple pigeons roosting in the roof space above the bed therefore couldn’t sleep until they stopped making noise. Should have moved but we are quite tolerant. Issue 4, around noon time the noise from the AC was so load we had to trip the electric breaker to stop it. Again we should have moved. Issue 5, on night 2 we were again awake for a significant period because of the lift continually moving even in the middle of the night. Issue 6, on night 3 again the lift was not moving up and down almost constantly. This seems to be the overnight cleaner moving items to the storeroom, and guess where this is, next to our room 601. I politely asked receptionist to ask the cleaner to stop and she said he was going home now so it would be ok. She couldn’t move us as there were no other rooms available. On approaching the hotel director the next morning she was aware of all the issues even knowing that the lift was noisy and kept people from sleeping. I was offered a free breakfast which I refused purely because there is no soap in the toilets and this is being used by waiters and chefs to prepare and serve food. After much argument I was told they would refund me the last night stay, still not received it though. All bored by now no doubt. This hotel had deteriorated badly in the 7 years we have visited. There are so many easy fixes to make it better but nobody seems to care. Lights don’t work - replace bulbs AC noisy - stop it vibrating Bath doesn’t work - either replace the motor or borrow from another room given the Imperial suite is the best room in the house Lift - get an engineer Noise - stop the cleaner working all night making noise No soap - buy soap The list is endless, we won’t be back and I wouldn’t recommend anyone else does either.
