Vorweg: Die Lage ist super. Zentrumsnah mit eigenen Strandabschnitt (159m fußläufig). Und kleiner Beachbar. Der Zustand der Anlage. Sie ist ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen. Das Badezimmer (insbesondere die Dusche) sind grenzwertig. Überall Stockflecken und Schimmel. Das Essen im Restaurant ist sehr sehr einfach gehalten. Zum Abendessen sind wir mehrmals außerhalb gewesen, weil wir im Hotel sehr unzufrieden waren. Das Klientel des Hotels war schlecht. Abends im Restaurant wurde in Badebekleidung gegessen und das Benehmen am Buffet war grausam. Gefühlt gab es während unseren Aufenthaltes nur eine Nation im Hotel. Und die war einfach nur laut, unangenehm und rottete sich in Gruppen.

Fabulous, friendly and amazing hotel . No, it’s not 5* but the service , atmosphere and food definitely is ! The restaurant has top quality dishes with loads of variety and something for everyone. If you like Italian or Mediterranean food , you’ll enjoy this . Never a queue and dishes were replenished when empty . There was also a gala night and another themed night . Tables were cleared immediately, so very clean . Lovely beach with comfortable sun beds and didn’t feel crowded. Entertainment was fine and the animation team were friendly and hard working. Not many hotels thank you for staying and give you a hug when you leave . Can’t say anything negative at all 😊 We will be back !

The accommodation was very comfortable. Everything was as described. The staff was always helpful and very friendly. They were always there for us when something was needed. The beach and the sea are simply breathtaking and the town of Santa Maria is beatiful as well. The cuisine was very tasty and always a lot of food to choose from. Such as fresh fishes, lots of fruits, vegetables, and sweets. The italian manager of the restaurant and bars, Attilio, is a great person who always makes sure that noone is missing anything. I can say the same about the outstanding chef Carlos. The animation team was amazing too. Jessica and Eliezer became very good friends of us during the stay. We really enjoyed our vacation and can't wait to come back to this island and Halos Resort!!!

Apartment was great and despite the sand we trailed in was kept very clean. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. In particular Scooby was lovely and gave us a great tour of the island - hugely informative but really relaxing to be with - well worth doing. He spent a lot of time turtle spotting for us despite it being too early in the season and it paid off much to my daughters delight. Entertainment staff were also fantastic - afraid don't remember all the names but Patricia and Eliezer deserve a special mention. Beach is pretty close to the resort and has great sand and plenty of people are swimming or doing water sports. The reserved section has lots of sun loungers and the various games played daily such as beach volleyball are very inclusive. Found Ocean and Americas restaurant so good visited them multiple times. Thank you to all the staff

That was AWSOME two weeks with best staff we ever seen! Hugo, thank you for perfect drinks on the beach, you will remain in our hearts!❤️ Bruno, my appreciated for gin tonic glasses special for us ;) You are very cool! 👊🏼 Carlo, the guy who really take care about reception and our requests (and beer after midnight 😝❤️), thank u bro! The lady who always knew our room number, unfortunately I didn't write down your name, but thank you very much, you are very nice 🥰 Dany, you was our first guide on the Sal island, thanks for much needed information and of course, perfect massage, my girlfriend was so satisfied! Izaura (I hope I wrote it right), cute lady from kitchen, your fried eggs make my breakfast!😁 And my great respect to all staff who made our stay so amazing! You are AWSOME! See u next year! The hotel is beautiful and fantastic,. We were there from the 21st April for 2 nights. Staff there are helpful and welcoming. The location is good as it is a walking distance from beach and the famous Santa Maria . We will definitely be returning back .

The entertainment team Evans, Naty, Jessica and Eliezer were amazing, they helped make our holiday incredible. Everyday they brought great energy and huge smiles. We cannot thank them enough !! We also had the island tour with scooby our guide who was amazing going above and beyond. Would highly recommend the island tour.

Amenities can be improved but the staff are amazing- shout out to Hugo, Ioandy, the front desk and the restaurant staff who went beyond and above to make it a memorable vacation. I will definitely stay next time and recommend to others
