Das Personal war mehr als hilfreich, von der zweiten, die wir in Lewis gelaufen haben, begrüßte uns sofort mit Getränken (freie offene Bar) und gab uns große Tipps, wie wir unseren Urlaub beginnen. Auch die Kommunikation zwischen dem Personal war topnotch! Ich werde hier sicherlich wieder bleiben, wenn ich zurückkomme.

Had a very enjoyable overnight stay at this very charming hotel while visiting San Juan ahead of a cruise. The hotel is well situated, with an array of nice restaurants and small supermarkets nearby (ideal for picking up bottles of wine or any last minute or forgotten supplies) and is only a short (6 min / $5) Uber from the Cruise Terminal. The staff are as warm and friendly as they are helpful and accommodating. Our flight got in much earlier than expected and we arrived considerably ahead of the check-in time - we had hoped to have the hotel just stow our baggage while we ran a quick errand but they were happy to check our room was ready and allow us to use it. The room was very clean, well maintained, light, spacious and well appointed , with a sofa, armchair, king bed, table, two chairs. There was plenty of space for luggage, lots of mirrors (great for getting ready without getting in each other's way), a small safe, microwave and a fridge that chilled wine remarkably quickly (which greatly impressed my wife). We had a high floor that offered some lovely ocean views. There was a choice of pillows and we enjoyed a very comfortable night's sleep . I can't imagine a nicer stay and would look forward to staying at the hotel again if visiting San Juan.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral in der Altstadt, man kann überall hin laufen. Sehr lokal, und der Service ist sehr hilfsbereit. Die Hotelumgebung ist unvergleichbar mit der bekannter lokaler Hotels. Immerhin in der Altstadt. Es wird empfohlen, 1-2 Tage in diesem Hotel zu bleiben. Spielen Sie in der Altstadt. Dann geh ins Hotel, um ein paar Tage zu bleiben und dann andere Gegenstände zu spielen.

We found ourselves here during our trip after our original hotel canceled our reservation, and it turned out to be a real blessing in disguise! Right from the moment we arrived, the lovely young woman at the front desk made us feel right at home with her warm welcome. Checking in was a breeze, and we were thrilled to find our room on the third floor, complete with a charming balcony. The rooftop area, featuring a small pool, was such a refreshing spot to cool down on those hot, sunny days! Looking back, I’m actually glad I didn’t read the reviews before our visit because we enjoyed clean rooms and saw that our room was tidied up daily. Plus, the location couldn’t be better! It’s within walking distance to so many attractions in beautiful old San Juan, making it super convenient for exploring.

Am Wochenende am Abend gibt es eine kleine Band in der Bar, die Latein und Salsa Musik so laut spielen, dass es überwältigend ist. Es ist laut zum Punkt, dass man eine Gespräche ohne Schreien führen kann. Es ist großartig, dass Menschen tanzen und sich selbst genießen, aber das Musikvolumen ruiniert die Atmosphäre für die anderen. Um die Dinge am Morgen schlimmer zu machen, gehen Sie in der Lobby Starbucks für einen Kaffee, aber es gibt nicht ein Gebiet in der schönen tropischen und offenen Lobby, um den Kaffee zu genießen, da es überall Sprecher mit konstanter Stimme und eher laut Salsa Musik gibt. Es wäre besser, wenn sie während des Tages, vor allem in den Morgens, etwas weicheres Instrumentalgemisch von Puerto Rican, Latinoamerikan und internationaler Musik spielen würden. Ich bin ein indigener und liebenswert zu tanzen Salsa, Merengue, Bachata und mehr, aber geben Sie uns einen Pause, es gibt andere Genres zu genießen. Darüber hinaus glaube ich, dass der Gast aus dem Festland nicht den ganzen Tag und Nacht laut Latein und Salsa Musik schätzen oder genießen wird.

Einer der Gründe, warum wir Ihr Hotel reserviert haben, ist, dass wir den Kundenservice angerufen haben und sie uns gesagt haben, dass Sie unser Gepäck für mehr als einen Tag behalten können. Aber das haben Sie nicht getan. Wir haben vier 28-Zoll-Taschen und wir müssen einen anderen Ort finden, um sie zu behalten, auch wenn wir nach zwei Tagen wieder eine Reservierung haben. Das war eine schreckliche Erfahrung!

Room and pool was very clean. Staff were friendly and efficient when bringing out drinks out to the pool. Front desk staff answered my questions politely and effectively. In great location- you can walk to Condado area easily as well as other places to eat in Miramar area

This was the best experience, as a local tourist, with hilton in Puerto Rico. This hotel is in old San Juan and has an infinity pool and bar at the rooftop with incredible views. Rooms are super clean and everybody from Andrea and her team at the front desk to the housekeeping lady, were very nice and brought us chocolates and water. My family and I felt very welcome. We were celebrating my son's birthday and everybody was greeting him. At the Consular Restaurant, Kiara, provide us with the best service, food was delicious and the food came quickly. Kiara has the best attitude and her smile is contagious.

We enjoyed our stay at Fortaleza suites and would recommend the hotel. The A/C was a bit noisy, but we had a nice, spacious room with a great location right in Old San Juan. Our room was called the ”Fortaleza Suite Room” and was a nice, clean, big space with tall ceilings. Beds were comfortable. A/C worked well but was noisy (see below). Bathroom: nicely appointed but a little dark. Shower worked well. There was a notice to put toilet paper in a trash can vs. flushing it. Noise: I was concerned about noise from the street at night. We were there on a Monday night and there was no issue with street noise that night. There was some noise (vehicles, talking) from the street in the early morning. The A/C unit would turn on quite noisily at regular intervals; it could wake you up if you are not a heavy sleeper. Arrival Logistics: The hotel communicates well via text/email. We were able to store our bags until our room was available. There is a very small alley a couple doors past the hotel, as you drive down the one way street. We used that alley to park quickly as we unloaded bags upon arrival - before driving to an offsite parking lot. They recommended the Galeria Paseo Portuario parking garage nearby (I think it was $13 for 24 hours) and also noted the La Puntilla parking lot ($3 to $5 for overnight parking) further away. We used La Puntilla. It was a short walk - towing a rolling suitcase. It would be a long walk if carrying (vs. rolling) a heavy bag. Finding a free space in La Puntilla took some time/effort.
