Wir liebten unser 1-Nacht-Unterkunft hier. Unser Zimmer war ziemlich groß und perfekt für unsere Familie von 4. Die Lage war zentraler, so dass wir einfach um die Gegend gehen konnten. Das Dekor durch die Ausgabe war lustig, farbig und hatte einige interessante Details. Die Zimmer sind mit einem großen Zimmer ausgestattet. Als wir ein wenig verloren versuchten, unser Zimmer zu finden, kam ein Gentleman zu unserem Rettungsdienst und begleitete uns in unser Zimmer sogar mit unserem Gepäck! Leider für mich wachte ich am nächsten Morgen mit einem Problem mit meinem Auge. Ich musste sofort medizinische Hilfe bekommen. Die Frau am Frontdesk war eine gewaltige Hilfe, um den richtigen Arzt zu finden, um mich zu besuchen und direkt mit dem Büro gesprochen, um meine Situation zu erklären. Leider habe ich nicht ihren Namen bekommen, aber sie rettete den Tag!

Die Hoteleinrichtungen sind einfach und wirtschaftlich. Es ist ein Problem, das warmes Wasser im zweiten Stock nicht heiß ist.
Das Frühstück ist zu einfach, es ist ein Problem, es gibt Brot, Butter, Kaffee, einige Früchte.
Und das ist nicht gut.
Die Touristenstadt ist Mitte der Nacht in der Stadt.
Der Außenminister ist frei und offen, der Rezeptor ist noch am Telefon.
Der einzige Nutzen ist, ein paar Minuten zu Fuß zu gehen, Conado Beach, das Meer ist sehr scharf, viele Leute haben Bikini, **, Körper, Surfing, wird erst zwei Tage vor *** gesagt
Es gibt viele Geschäfte, die in der Nähe essen.
Chinesisch, Sushi, Puerto Rico-Restaurants usw.
Ein weiterer Vorteil ist, dass der Preis wirtschaftlich ist, 75 Punkte, was ist sehr schön

We stayed here for 4 nights recently and couldn’t fault the hotel. There was coffee and tea every morning in the lobby and the staff were extremely attentive and helpful at all times. You get the option to borrow a beach towel and chairs which is great as the beach is just a 1 minute walk down the road. There’s also a restaurant/ bar downstairs which has a good selection. There is a small outside area in the middle of the hotel which has a small plunge pool, 2 loungers and some egg chairs - we chilled in this area a few different times and it was mostly nice and quiet! Before coming I read a review which mentioned the noise from the street is quite loud in the room - which I do agree with. However it didn’t seem to disturb us at night particularly. It is also very close to the old town - only 10 minute drive. Overall a great hotel to stay in when in Puerto Rico.

Das Hotel El Convento ist seit dem 1. September und wird heute auschecken, ich möchte sagen, das Personal ist so freundlich und warm und willkommen. Das Hotel ist sehr historisch, aber die Betten sind sehr unbehaglich. Ich muss besonders drei Leute hervorheben, die unseren Aufenthalt fantastisch gemacht haben! Victor war der Bartender der beste Bartender, den ich je erlebt habe, und ich komme aus New York. Seine Persönlichkeit ist erstaunlich und seine Getränke waren hervorragend. Wir haben das Hotel wirklich bekommen. Auch unsere Kiera und Thanushka waren die besten! Ihre Persönlichkeiten waren so freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir lachten so sehr mit ihnen. Ich hoffe, das Hotel erkennt diese drei Personen als besondere Mitarbeiter an, weil sie die drei, die unser Aufenthalt fein verändert haben!

Es ist ein sehr sauberes Hotel mit vielen Orten zu essen in einem Spaziergang sowie ein Filmtheater, ein Gemüsegeschäft und eine Apotheke auf der Straße. Es verfügt über ein schönes Restaurant und Dachpool, die sehr entspannt ist. Das Zimmer war sauber und hatte einen Eishersteller, großes Tauchbad und Kühlschrank. Die einzigen Dinge, die ich verbessern würde, sind die Beleuchtung in den Zimmern - sie ist etwas dämlich, wenn Sie etwas Arbeit tun müssen - sie haben nur Lampen und ein kleines Akzentlicht im Deckel - zumindest in dem Zimmer, in dem ich war. Das Bad im Zimmer war sehr klein - konnten nicht den Zahnbürsten, Rasor, etc. wie die meisten Tauchen auf. Das sind kleine Unannehmlichkeiten - im Allgemeinen ist es ein sehr schöner Ort zu bleiben, das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und die Lage war großartig.

Ich habe einige negative Berichte über dieses Hotel, vor allem wegen Covid gehört. Das Hotel ist ein bisschen vom besiegten Weg entfernt. Sie bieten ein schönes Zimmer zu einem fairen Preis. Unsere einzigen Fragen waren ein Teppich, das brauche röhliches und ein Thermostat, das Aufmerksamkeit erfordert, da wir die Ak wechseln oder aus. Das Hotel ist in einem Bereich, der nach dem Abschluss neu entwickelt wird es ein vollwertiges Hotel. Ich würde nicht zögern, dort ein Zimmer zu buchen.

GGuest UserWir blieben zwei Nächte im Fortaleza während unseres Familienurlaubs. Es gab 3 Schlafzimmer mit viel Platz für alle sechs von uns, um etwas Privatsphäre zu haben. Die Küche war riesig und wir haben dort 2 leckere Familiengerichte zubereitet. Es gibt Balkone, die die alten San Juan Straßen übersehen. Es gibt viele Standorte, Geschäfte, Restaurants in der Nähe zu Fuß, so dass die Lage in Old San Juan perfekt für diejenigen, die in der Nähe der Unterkunft bleiben möchten. Wir sind früh am Morgen angekommen und konnten unsere Gepäck für den Tag aufbewahren, während wir um die Stadt gingen. Der Nebenteil ist der Parkplatz nicht vor Ort, aber es ist in einer Garage in einem Spaziergang.

GGuest UserNice boutique hotel. Stayed one night between cruise and flight home. Front desk staff were super friendly and helpful. Hotel room was larger than most hotel rooms and bathroom was nice. The bed could be a little more comfy but for one night was okay. Location was good and with Uber was less then $10 to get to Old San Juan or cruise terminal, to the airport was around $15. Rooftop terrace was an added bonus. We didn't know about it until we read a review about it. Should definitely promote this more! The pool area was nice and can see the ocean from there. Overall was a nice stay and would stay there again !

GGuest UserLeider fehlten die hohen Erwartungen, die ich für diesen Ort hatte. Zunächst habe ich ein Deluxe-Zimmer gebucht, das einen TV im Zimmer, ein Sofabett mit einem eigenen Eingang und Privatsphäre umfasste. Wie in den Anweisungen auf Hotels.com gesagt, sollte ich die Unterkunft mindestens 24 Stunden vorab kontaktieren, um die Eincheckungsdaten zu erfahren. Ich habe das nur getan und wurde mit einer Rückkehrmitteilung getroffen, in der festgestellt wurde, dass ich die Informationen erhalten würde, bevor die Buchung an dem Tag beginnt, an dem ich anmelden würde. Dennoch habe ich es nicht bis 4:15 Uhr erhalten, bedenke, dass die normalen Eincheckzeiten, wie veröffentlicht, 3pm-10pm sind. Nicht nur habe ich die Eincheckdaten um 1-2 Stunden spät erhalten, sondern auch eine Telefonanrufe mit einigen verwirrenden Informationen. Die Dame informierte mich, dass mein Zimmer vermutlich ”überbucht” wurde und dass mein Zimmer nicht für meinen Aufenthalt verfügbar war. Dass sie mir ein Zimmer innerhalb eines ”Wohnung” zugeteilt hätten. , die in der Regel für Airbnb reserviert ist und im Vergleich zum Deluxe-Raum, das ich gebucht hatte, zählte einen größeren Raum mit einer Küche und anderen Zimmern, die geschlossen werden würde. Ich brauchte keine Küche, da ich nicht auf Kochen planen etc und war definitiv skeptisch und denken, wie Das geschah, weil ich die deluxe Zimmertage im Voraus gebucht hatte und überhaupt nicht kontaktiert wurde. Mir wurde keine andere Option angeboten und ich entschied, mit ihr zu gehen und es einen Versuch ... Leider, bei der Ankunft war mein Skepsis mit der Realität getroffen. Alle Zugangstüren für das Immobilien sind offen, keine Locks, also kann jederzeit das Immobilien eintreten. Der einzige tatsächliche Raum, der im ”Wohnung” geöffnet war, hatte nicht alle Einrichtungen wie die ich reserviert und die ganze ”Wohnung” hatte kein Einzel-TV. Darüber hinaus gab es andere Menschen in dem Zimmer, ”Wohnung” und Balkon, die in der Tat einen Sitzbereich hatte, aber die Kühlschranken wurden entfernt, so dass es nutzlos war. Sandalen einer anderen Person, leichter und mehr Überraschend empfängnisverhütende Pillen waren sichtbar bei der Ankunft. Ich fand das nicht akzeptabel, besonders in diesen Zeiten. Ich fühlte mich nicht bequem und fragte eigentlich die Reinigkeit und Infektionskontrolle, Da es offensichtlich niemand war, der die Unterkunftsfläche überprüft und die Dinge, die ich vorher erwähnte, betreut. Ich fühlte mich zu diesem Zeitpunkt unsicher, nicht wusste, ob es andere Menschen mit Zugang zum ”Wohnung” gab. , angesichts der Tatsache, dass es andere Leutes Artikel in der offenen Sicht hinterlassen. Ich habe die Immobilie über die Ergebnisse bei der Ankunft kontaktiert und ich erhielt keine Antwort. Ich war verwirrt darüber, was zu tun, da ich mich sicher nicht sicher fühlte und nicht wusste, wie ich seit Es gibt kein Front Desk in der Unterkunft. Ich habe nie etwas zurück gehört und entschieden, das Gebäude zu leeren und woanders zu suchen. Das bedeutete, für ein Hotel anderswo zu bezahlen und eine zusätzliche Menge Geld zu verbringen, als wir erwartet hatten, aber es war ein Ich habe mit meinem Partner entschieden, weil wir uns am Ende nicht sicher fühlten!!!

Since we came in we had problems to check-in and confirmed our reservation had the late check-out at 1pm since it was included. We had Late Check-out included and when we were about to check out, we told the lady at the front desk that our check out was at 1pm. She looked at us and said no it’s at 12pm but with a bad attitude. Then I told her that our stay had included the late check out. She then said with the same very bad attitude, “well if you said that at first”. Then my partner said well there’s a problem with organization because we said that at check in and she confirmed it. She then responded with even more attitude… “No the problem is communication” Honestly for being a “Hotel” it had a horrible customer service. Not recommended at all if you want a pleasant vacation.

SSkylaGWo soll ich beginnen? Ich hatte eine wunderbare Zeit in diesem Hostel. Ich wurde immer so freundlich gegrüßt, und die Zimmer wurden immer gereinigt und gut gepflegt von dem hervorragenden Hausmeister Edwin. Er war so freundlich und gab große Empfehlungen, und hielt das Badezimmer und das Zimmer sehr gut gepflegt und sauber. Dinelys und Nina waren sowohl hilfreich und willkommen, vor allem, weil es mein erstes Mal in einem Hostel war. Ich genossen meine erste Zeit so sehr, dass ich für weitere 4 Nächte ein paar Tage später zurückkam! Und Gott sei Dank habe ich einige unglaubliche Leute bei meinem Rückkehrbesuch getroffen! Das Dach ist wunderbar, und ich fühlte mich sehr zu Hause. Der Strand ist ein schneller 6-10 Minute zu Fuß entfernt, und es gibt viele Lebensmittel und Geschäfte um. Will absolut wieder bleiben das nächste Mal, wenn ich in San Juan bin! 🤍🤍

GGuest UserHere’s a brief summary of our family’s stay at Comfort Inn, San Juan for five days in August 2022. The GOOD – Location: It’s a 5-7 minute walk to the beach and the hotel offers complimentary beach towels, sun umbrellas, and lounge chairs for your use. There’s also a Cartier store at the end of the block, so you’re in a decent part of town, and there are quite a few restaurants within walking distance; Rooms: Our room was clean and bright. It looks like it had been renovated in the not-too-distant past. Good water pressure, nice TV, clean linen, small fridge, microwave, and coffee maker; Breakfast: There are some nice options included in the breakfast. Hot items (cheese omelets, bacon, sausage, country potatoes), cereal, make-it-yourself waffles, pastries, fresh fruit (bananas, apples, clementine oranges), yogurt, and a variety of juices; Hotel pool: It’s small but very nice. In addition to the pool, there’s also a hot tub for the adults and a kids’ wading pool. Lots of lounge chairs and towels. Fitness center: It has nice equipment and is in good condition, located by the pool; Housekeeping staff: We interacted with several members of the housekeeping staff and they were all extremely helpful and friendly. High marks in that department! The BAD – Parking: Technically, there is a parking lot at the hotel but it only holds about eight cars, at best. Beyond that, you’ll need to park in a garage down the street for about $20/night. The hotel was in the process of repaving the parking lot while we were there but I don’t think it will result in adding any additional spaces; Flooding: The street on two sides of the hotel flooded to a depth of about 8 inches twice during the five days we were there. Not sure what causes it, but it’s apparently an ongoing issue. If you want to get past the flooding, you have to get creative on how to access the front door. Not impossible, but also not ideal. The DEHUMIDIFIER – The first night we were there, we woke up in the morning to find that the floor in our room was WET. Not damp, but WET. As in, a “Maybe we should go look for a mop” kind of wet. It was at that point that we noticed a dehumidifier under the desk in the room. The digital readout read, “Current humidity: 85%”. I don’t doubt it. Once I turned the dehumidifier on, we left it on for the remainder of our stay. It did help IMMENSELY but we had to empty the bucket in the dehumidifier down the shower drain about twice a day, so it was an ongoing process. We also noticed a dehumidifier in the hallway so humidity is apparently an issue there as well. SUMMARY – Overall, we were happy with our stay. The amenities are nice and the price isn’t bad, considering the prices of other hotels in the same vicinity. Parking isn’t ideal and neither is the flooding. And as long as you don’t mind keeping up with the dehumidifier, the room is pleasant to stay in. There aren’t a lot of bells and whistles, but there’s not a lot that seems lacking either.

GGuest UserIch werde mit dem wichtigsten Grund für die niedrige Rating beginnen. Das Hotel ist nicht sauber. Wir mussten in unserem Zimmer Schuhe tragen, weil es nicht geschweißt war. Das Gebäude neben der Tür ist unter Bau und Arbeit beginnt bei 7am scharf - kein Schlaf in, wenn Ihr Balkon auf dieser Seite steht. Sprichwort vom Balkon, wenn es regnet, Wasser kam unter der Tür. Um den starken, mustigen Geruch zu verringern, mussten wir die A/C super kalt halten. Im Zimmer waren Moskitos sowohl lebendig als auch auf den Wänden gebraten - siehe Fotos. Die Bettwäsche wurden seit langem nicht gewaschen. Die Hallen machten mich an ein Sanitärhaus im Mitteljahrhundert denken. Ich sagte der Vorderseite, es war ein Wasserleck, das in die Halle ging, so dass sie ein nasses Fußbodenzeichen aufstellten. Da das Wasser weiter fließt, entschied sie sich, eine Stapel Handtücher auf sie zu werfen. Das Frühstücksbereich wurde vom Exterminator während der Mahlzeit behandelt ...nope, nicht ok. Auch die Frühstücksauswahl war sub-par, nichts frisch. Auch sie wandten sich nicht an die A/C während der Woche. Das Lobbygebiet ist ein heißer Moskito-Spielplatz. Die Seitentür zum Hof ist mit einer Moskitolampe im Lobby geöffnet, so dass sie in der Lobby eingeladen werden. Sorgt dafür, dass Sie auf das, was Sie brauchen, auf Lager gelagert werden. Während das Hotel Wasser und Soda hatte, sind die Verkaufsmaschinen aus dem Bestell und scheinen so für eine ganze Zeit zu sein. Und sie hatten keine Waschmittel wie in der Waschfläche gestellt. Ich habe eine mittlere Ladung, die 2 Zyklen im Trockner in der Gesamtsumme von $6 dauerte. Die Aufnahme des Aufzugs ist eine schreckliche Erfahrung. Wenn es kommt, wenn Sie den Knopf drücken. Es stoppt nicht immer gleichmäßig mit dem Boden. Also bereit zu steigen oder nach unten, wenn die Tür öffnet. Und es stoppt mit einer solchen Schleife, dass es tatsächlich mein Haarklip losgelassen hat. Wie auf ihrer Website erwähnt, ist der Pool im Hotel nicht. Und der ”Strandclub” ist etwa 2 Blocks entfernt und ist auf dem Wasser, aber das Wasser ist nicht zugänglich. Es ist nur für Sonnenbad. Das Foto des Strandes auf ihrer Website, ist nicht mit dem Strandclub verbunden, den sie bieten. Wenn wir uns entschieden, den langen Spaziergang zum Strand zu nehmen, hatten sie keine Strandhandtücher verfügbar. Ich würde dieses Hotel nicht empfehlen, unabhängig vom Preis.

SSeñor GringoGreat, convenient location if U want to explore Santurce/Miramar by just walking. 4 blocks away is Ciudadela which has a 24 hr Pueblo, Planet Fitness, & Mercado La Carreta cafe. Directly across for Ciudadela is a food truck food court called Lote 23 (very tasty, interesting mix). Also don't miss Abracadaba brunch & local coffee spot 787 Coffee. Also couple of good Mex restaurants on Ave José de Diego. U can use this same road to walk to Condado beach 🏖️ area, approx 15 minutes. There are also electric 🛴 on the sidewalks for rent.
Right next to hotel just down hill is La Casona (beautiful garden restaurant & fine dining). Just across street from this,on Avenida Juncos, is Burrillos Santurce; a really tasty & very good prices casual Mex 🌯 spot (order at counter & sit). 3 min walk....
Even though location is excellent, the hotel itself is definitely budget. No significant amenities, small rooms & even smaller bathrooms. Water pressure on low side. Rooms have flat panels & cable (didn't use though). AC as much nicer, quiet split type units, worked very well. Small rooms also much easier & quicker to cool. Kinda old, outdated & funky (but also a lot of character), but if U just need a functional place to crash, the room prices are very very good! $65-80/night vs $400 ?!? Also has 1 self serve laundry wash n dry machines. In lobby is a small cafe-type seating area. Free wifi, but kinda slow. Depending on room location, there can be noise issues. Rooms directly above the Asia di Lima restaurant's exhaust fan (on Calle San Jorge side) should keep windows closed btwn 4-11pm to minimize cooking exhaust odors.
Anyway... would definitely stay here again; especially if the room rates ate below $80/day. And don't really need a lot of fluff; not on vacation to hang out in tiny room or hotel property. If U want the resort experience... Caribé Hilton, Vanderbilt, La Concha, or Sonesta or El San Juan in Isla Verde... but you're paying $300-800/night !!
If U stay here, don't be shy! Get out & walk around as much as possible... you'll be surprised by all the off-the-beaten path cool stuff you'll find. A much more authentic 🇵🇷 experience!
