Park Royal Homestay Los Cabos

We stayed at this facility last week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great location close to the beach and a great grocery store less than a kilometre away. Plenty of restaurants in walking distance. Our unit had a beautiful view of the golf course. Swimming pools were lovely. The staff were excellent. Georgina the manager was fabulous in helping us with anything.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Park Royal Homestay. The staff was friendly and the service fantastic. Everyday housekeeping would check in to see if you needed anything cleaned or fresh towels. The pool was nice and warm and the margaritas were delicious. There is a shopping center and multiple restaurants close by. The beach is about a 5- 10 minute walk and in the description for the resort it says you have beach club access but the only way I could could get to the beach was through public access and you don't get chairs or umbrellas. That maybe something to look into further. Other than that it was a great stay on a golf course with well kept grounds.

Arrived on 6 April 24 and check- in was great, even though we had a earlier flight before check-in times.. Everyone was Super in helping in any way. I must say Nancy went out of her way to make our stay here memorable. She can take care all of your off site trips as well as getting you picked up from the Airport for a very small fee, and get you Uber services at this location. If you are adventurous like us, we paid the 40 peso x 2 to catch the local bus to Carbo San Lucus for the day, Again, please let Nancy help you. We are time share members and had to book the basic room which has nothing more than a bed, bathroom and balcony, sufficient for 1 or 2 nights in our opinion. However upon checking we were able to upgrade and got a lovely room, everything we needed, clean and comfortable. Walking distance to great restaurants and grocery stores. Also try taking the buses! We found them easy to navigate and part of the adventure.

A small, quiet resort minutes walk away from the beach, shops, and restaurants, this is a lovely place for a completely relaxing holiday. Don Jose's enthusiastic welcome at the poolside bar, Concierge Nancy Posada's generous and caring hospitality, made our stay memorable. Rooms are a bit dated, stove a little dodgy, but all kept scrubbed clean.

A wonderful location. Amazing wifi. Beautiful catus gardens with many birds. Nice pools. Clean and friendly. Spacious rooms. Good water pressure and temperatures. Nice beds. Lovely pool loungers. Close to supermarkets and other restaurants.

The Park Royal is an older property but has some nice kitchen and bathroom updates. The location is great especially for picking up essentials at La Comer. Pepe’s margaritas at El Patio pool bar are amazing!! And great value especially during 2 for 1 happy hour:) Karen in housekeeping was super friendly and did a great job looking after our room - thank you!

We exchanged to this resort and knew that it was off the beaten path. It was very clean and the staff was great, just a little dated but we knew that ahead of time. Our room had 2 double beds and was really big with a well-equipped little kitchen. Daily maid service coffee and water was provided, nice pool towels. The pool area is small but nice. There is a little restaurant serving breakfast to dinner and drinks all day long. It was a 10-15 minute walk to La Comer for groceries and to the main street with shopping and restaurants and walkway through to the incredible beachfront. Uber to central area is 10 minutes and was around 120 pesos each way. I gave a 4 rating because of the cleanliness and we liked the staff. If you're looking for an upscale resort, this is not your place. If you're looking for a clean comfortable quiet spot this might be your place.

I enjoyed my stay at the Park Royal Homestay in San Jose de Cabo. Shout out to Nancy who coordinated my pickup from airport and made sure I was all-good for any excursions. Staff called Uber for me each day and were very professional. I really like my room which was spacious and kitchen suite offered all necessities. Bring a Roku unit to plug into the TV otherwise you will be working on your Spanish. There was only one English channel and it was Fox News (couldn’t we get something less partial or nauseating). Pool was small but relaxing and jacuzzi did not work. You can walk to the major grocery store basically across the street and it is a 1.5 mile walk to the town square. I did the walk daily to the square and I was completely safe though watch out for the holes and tripping hazards in sidewalks. My biggest complaint is not with hotel but entire city. I’ve only seen more trash laying about in one other location (Belize) but sadly, San Jose de Cabo is shooting for top spot. City needs to place more trash cans around. I counted one trash can on my 1.5 mile walk so everyone throws their trash on the ground. I would never buy property here because the lack of charm and obviously lack of cleanliness. City leaders need to clean city as trash eventually winds up in the ocean and on beaches…sad.
