This is a beautiful hotel that offers every amenity we wanted and a fabulous restaurant experience! The steaks were better than any chops house we’ve experienced in the U.S.! We ate there 4 times and each meal was special. Exceptional service and exceptional experience!

Such a warm amazing staff. The hotel was beautiful and clean had everything you need to make a great experience. The restaurant was very delicious. The service is exceptional. The pool is perfect after a long day of excursions. Hospitality was for sure a 10 out of 10 a lovely experience for boutique hotel!! Also not to mention their awesome trusted driver Ramiro!! I suggest spending the extra cash to have him pick you up at the airport totally worth it. He is very knowledgeable and loves to share the amazing things about his country with his passengers.

Our stay at the San Ignacio Resort Hotel was the best. The hotel is beautiful and the staff are very attentive and helpful. Every meal was delicious. One of our day trips was starting early and the kitchen staff was able to give us a to-go breakfast. We booked cave tubing and zip line through the hotel which provided the tour guide who took very good care of us. I would definitely stay at the resort again.

It's difficult to express how much we enjoyed our stay at San Ignacio Resort Hotel. The property itself is stunning, and surrounded by so much natural beauty. We loved waking up in the morning and listening to all the nature from our balcony. Our room was exquisite. We loved the location, close to town yet removed, and a central starting point for many excursions. The best feature (there are many) is the staff. Everyone at San Ignacio was so kind, welcoming and knowledgeable. Every single staff member: from the drivers, desk staff, waiters, to the concierge and iguana project team member and grounds staff, all were friendly, considerate and so knowledgeable about Belize culture, nature, etc. Absolutely wonderful stay!

Great place to stay, probably most comfortable spot in San Ignacio area. Worth the price you pay for the amenities you’re used to. Great tours they offer too, the night tour my niece loved! Also the iguana tour is amazing and informative. The staff even took in an injured iguana for me and let me see how they helped it….they were kind as it was after hours, They took great care of her and even offered to stay in contact with me to let me know how she was. Thankfully she is okay and will be released into the wild again soon!

From check-in to check-out, the folks at the San Ignacio Resort treat you like family. The guides they provide have taken significant training and are all of the were extremely knowledgeable!! We will be returning next year to visit our new friends; Emilio, Henry, Angelita, Natasha, Carlota, Cruz, Carlitos, Goldborn and Daisy to name just a few of the wonderful people we met. The dining was exceptionally good. The room was extremely clean. A big thank you to Darwin for arranging all of our excursions and Natasha for joining us for excursion to Rio Frío and the pools at Pine Ridge. Thank you to Goldborn for explaining the history of the Mayan Civilization on our trip from the airport to the Resort. To Cruz for educating us at both Xunantunich and Barton Creek and Carlitos for Jaguar Paw, Rio Frio and Pine Ridge. To all the folks at the San Ignacio Resort, thank you for making our time there so special!!
