My family was so excited to have saved $ to stay in the Westin in San Antonio. We arrived and the Valet attendant was very kind. I went inside to check in and the line was very long and not enough workers. My husband and son were sitting with the luggage cart when I finished checking in. They were not allowed to bring the cart to the room, so the bell hop had to help us. He told us to go ahead of him to the room and we did. We got unpacked and about 30 minutes later I asked my husband what happened to my coat, since it was freezing outside. We couldn't find it. So we traced out steps and found it on the ground. The Bell hop had dropped it when he was brining our luggage up to the room. Then he went back the same way and had to have rolled over it on his way back down. Maybe I didn't tip enough. Not sure why he would have done this. I called and reported my missing coat and no one got back. I also called a second time since the entire room was full of water damage and the smell was horrible. Water lines were going down the wall all in the room. I took photos as well. I asked if they could help me and they said that the only thing they could do was have maintenance come check on it. Well, they never did come check and my family all got ill this weekend staying in that moldy room. Not good. I was so very disappointed after having such high expectations. Other than those two major things the rest of the hotel seemed very nice.
