Alles war super Zimmer waren sauber und schön. Das Personal war perfekt. Das einzige Problem war, dass ich 2 Doppelzimmer gebucht hatte, aber 3 Kingsize-Zimmer bekamen. War nicht die Schuld des Hotels. Trip.com hat das vermasselt.

The Plaza San Antonio Hotel & Spa, Autograph Collection by Marriott is the one of, if not the best, Marriott properties in San Antonio. I am a Marriott Titanium BovVoy Member and travel a lot for business and leisure. This is my honest review of the property. The Plaza stands out among its Marriott sister properties and competitors because of its excellent service, atmosphere, cleanliness, and food and drinks. Experience: The service is top-notch from the moment you pull-up until the moment you check-out and the staff walks you to your car. You feel like the staff and management cares about the property and the guest experience. If you stay for business or leisure, the Plaza offers an oasis to unwind and relax. Check-in/out: I took a redeye flight and arrived to the property at 1:30AM. The staff did an excellent job even for the time of day and check-out was even better. Food and Drinks: The food and drinks are tasty and awesome. I ate at the restaurant everyday for breakfast and had dinner twice. Location: Away from the tourist traps but close enough to walk to attractions or a short taxi/share ride. Pool/Bar: The pool and bar scene is legit! Great music, drinks, and vibe. I can only imagine weekend nights at the outside bars and how lively it could get. Room: The rooms are extremely clean; especially compared to other disappointments of Marriott properties in the area. I did find the bathroom a little awkward that when you walk into the room you have to go through it to enter the sleeping/sitting area. However, that is a minor negative experience and everything else about the room is great! Size, sitting, amenities, balcony, etc. all get a thumbs up. Parking: Valet only. No self-park. $60 overnight which is roughly $10-15 over most properties. However, the bell hop and valet attendants are attentive and timely. Spa: I did not use the spa because I was unable to get connected with them and when I went in-person no one was at the spa desk. However, I hope to visit for a service on my next trip. Gym: Like the pool/bars the gym is also legit! The gym is big, contains all the essentials, and the staff places towels and water bottles at each workout station, there are recyclable head phones, and it’s clean. Competitors: There is only one other Marriott competitor I see for the Plaza and it’s the St. Anthony. However, after staying at both the St. Anthony and Plaza, I recommend the Plaza for sure. Overall: 9.5 out 10 I am already booked for my next stay at the Plaza in two weeks and look forward to my stay! - BonVoy Titanium Member/Frequent Traveler

I live in San Antonio but staying here made me feel like I was on a relaxing European vacation. There is easy access to cheap overnight parking and everything you need is within walking distance. The views and room are gorgeous. The shower water was soft. The pool is beautiful and the bars are great too. The crown jewel of this hotel is the staff. They’re extremely friendly and I would absolutely stay here again.

This newly developed hotel is a hidden gem! I am from San Antonio, and found this hotel by first visiting the Anaqua Garden Bar, and realized a night stay would be amazing. The overly hospitable staff, and amazing amenities really made this hotel match its charm. The earthy tones throughout the grounds give you a sense of relaxation and zen. The restaurant, Corinne, is amazing as well. We ordered the oysters, the Caesar salad, the fried bread, and the truffle bucatini. Not a single complaint can be made about our food and experience. I own an airbnb here in the city, and will definitely steal some of the color schemes and ideas of furniture, as it truly is amazing. This is genuinely the best hotel and San Antonio, as I’ve stayed in different places here in town, simply because the experience the staff gives you is matched with the beautiful ambiance.

We stayed at the Plaza for a quick family getaway and we absolutely loved it. My 5 year old daughter enjoyed the pool, we had amazing quality food and drinks from Anaqua and absolutely loved the room we were in! Spacious, clean, modern and super comfortable. Ask for a pool view! 😉 Helena at the front desk was super sweet, we’ll be back as soon as we can!

As a frequent traveler, I expect customer service as well as clean quality rooms. My expectations were exceeded!

Great rooms. Room service slow and some days I could not get my room cleaned on time. Good breakfast and friendly staff. An additional not good point of the hotel is check in at 4 pm, unless you pay a rate to check at 2 or 3 pm, even though your room may be ready for you

This hotel is a true gem in the heart of San Antonio! From the moment you step into the lobby, you’re greeted with an atmosphere of sophistication and warmth. The room, a harmonious fusion of modern design and timeless elegance, offers every comfort imaginable. The garden area is beautiful, lush with tropical plants, it smells like jasmine everywhere and it is amazing. Overall, this hotel is exactly what San Antonio was missing—a perfect balance of history and modernity that appeals to travelers of all tastes. I can’t recommend it highly enough. I wanted to give a special shout out to Israel Munoz for making my stay truly special!

The food, drinks and atmosphere was amazing and our server Massi was so nice and kind. He helped pick out the perfect drink to pair with our food ! We will absolutely be back! Go check it out! It’s a San Antonio must! Thank you for the amazing time.
