Friendly staff, clean and quite property with comfy rooms. Plenty of towels and all necessary toilettes in the room. Comp coffee / espresso / cappuccino machine, tea and water downstairs was a huge plus. Book without hesitation, incredible secure location - close to everything!

Spent a few days here last week! Accommodating and attentive staff. Comfy room with high ceilings and large windows. All the necessary toilettes, towels and such. Complimentary coffee machine, tea and water in the lobby 24/7. Amazing location!!!

I was here for the quarter finals of the Euro 2020 tournament. The rooms are very well taken of. Quaint and modern. There is free coffee, tea and water at all times. Overall, the rooms are quite good and enjoyable. Now for the downside. There are no elevators in the building. If you have any mobility related injuries and you are on the high floors, that can be an issue. Also, only one or two of the reception staff speak relatively good English so unless you speak Russian, you will have a hard time speaking with the reception staff if you are a native English speaker. However, all reception staff are super helpful and very nice and in a worse case scenario, Google Translate comes in handy. As for the surrounding area, it is filled with amazing historical architecture, modern restaurants and many colorful stores that catch eye. Also, the area is well connected to the rest of St. Petersburg via taxi, metro, bus and ride share/taxi apps. I would definitely be staying here again. St Petersburg is an amazing city and House by Hermitage would be an excellent base of operations.

The staff is nice and provide good service. This place doesn't have an AC and it gets really hot during the summer.

I wouldn’t encourage anyone to stay here actually and the 8.8 review that the hotel got is rather a 2.8 for me. The rooms were not the same as on the pictures, they were not cleaned, they were super hot due to lack of AC, the hotel smelled like a locker room after a football game, no one understood English, they didn’t chance linens during a week etc. The location is the only reason to stay here but would encourage everyone to visit St Petersburg, a beautiful city with great views and brilliant affordable restaurants.

I loved the location of the property. I didn't like the fact that the rooms didn't have AC and this summer is extremely hot.

Just stayed there for a night and the hotel was located in heart of St Petersburg. Easy to get car park on streets. No air-conditioning 😖
