I stayed here where my flight from Lisbon to Belo Horizonte was diverted to Rio de Janeiro due to the airport being closed due to the bad weather. So it was the airline TAP Portugal which arranged (and paid for) my stay here. And I really enjoyed it. The reception staff was really friendly, welcoming and helpful. My room had a nice view of mainly the hotel in front but also of the beach. It was clean, the beds were comfortable so just 10/10

Dies ist das zweite Mal, dass ich in diesem Hotel übernachtet habe. Ich dachte, die Qualität sei stark gesunken!
Schmutzige Bettwäsche, alte Matratze und ich fand die Wände in der Dusche sehr schmutzig.
Die Dusche ist das einzig Gute!
Der Ton im Fernsehen und im Internet ist schrecklich!

Das Hotel wurde 1999 gebaut und gefühlt ist seitdem nichts mehr renoviert worden. Es wurde 2019 von B&B Hotels übernommen und seit dem wurde wohl so einiges gestrichen. Leider haben viele Reiseportale diese Änderungen nicht aktualisiert. Es gibt -keine Sauna -keinen Fitnessraum -kein Dampfbad -Fön bekommt man nur auf Nachfrage bei der Rezeption, wenn nicht alle vergeben sind -Handtücher dürfen nur im Zimmer genutzt werden (nicht an pool oder meer) -kostenlose Wasserflaschen bekommt man auch nicht (obwohl auf homepage geschrieben. - eine Poolbar gab es auch nicht mehr. Im Bad gibt es weder Lüftung noch Fenster, weshalb nach dem Duschen die Feuchtigkeit überhaupt nicht wegzubekommen war und sogar im Zimmer dann das Wasser an den Wänden blieb. Bikini oder Handtücher wurden gar nicht trocken. Es gab auch keine Halterung zum Aufhängen der Handtücher. Am Pool gibt es nur 2 Liegen um die man sich dann streiten konnte. Beim Frühstück musste man täglich das Personal fragen, um Teebeutel zu erhalten.

Sehr schönes Hotel, gut in Copacabana sehr nahe dem Strand gelegen. Viele Restaurants in der Nähe sowie Geschäfte. Die Untergrundstation ist nur über die Straße, obwohl wir es nicht verwendet haben. Umgebungen fühlten sich sicher genug, aber würde es empfehlen, nicht Taschen und Schmuck zu nehmen, wenn man aus geht und Telefone aus der Sicht. In der Nacht können die sind ziemlich besetzt. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und begann früh am Morgen, was groß ist, wenn das Flugzeug verzögert. Guter Kaffee. Unser Zimmer war ein wenig klein und nicht so schöner Blick, aber war sauber und komfortabel. Gutes WLAN. Die Check-in-In etwas langsam, besonders nach einem 12-Stunden-Flug, aber das Personal am Front Desk war sehr angenehm und willkommen.

...Top als treuer Accor Kunde buche ich gerne was das ich kenne und den Standard hat den man erwartet. Sehr gutes Essen auf der Dachterrasse mit tollem Pool und Aussicht auf die Copacabana. Der Service einfach nur Top da ich immer eine Nespresso Maschine im Zimmer brauche hat man mir schon beim ersten Besuch eine organisiert und ein Zimmer Upgrade gemacht. Beim zweiten Besuch bekam ich das gleiche Zimmer und es war ein neue Espresso Maschine im Zimmer installiert. Joao der Manager kümmert sich um seine Gäste nur zu empfehlen auch in Corona Zeiten ein sichereres Haus wo man sich wohlfühlt

Das Hotel folgt dem Standard der Komfort und Exzellenz, das von einem ibis erwartet wird. Als ich die Buchung schließe, habe ich die Tatsache merkwürdig, dass es einen Pool hat, denn ich reise in Brasilien und habe schon mehrere ibis und nie einen Pool gesehen. Ich schloss den Pool (da ich ein Hotel mit Pool suchte) als ich ankam, wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass der Pool von Novotel für eine Gebühr von 63 Real war. Das sollte genauso informiert werden wie der Kauf von Frühstück und Parkplatz.
Ich habe wieder auf der Website gesucht, um zu sehen, wo es geschrieben war und ich nicht fand, ich war sehr enttäuscht, weil ich ein anderes Hotel mit ähnlichen Werten geschlossen hätte.
Die Team-Service war wunderbar, und wir hatten einen guten Aufenthalt, um diese Enttäuschung zu nehmen.

Bademantel, Pantoffeln, kleinere Handschuhe und einige Equipments welche zu 5 Sterne Hotel gehören, haben gefehlt. Zimmer Fenster waren viel zu dreckig so dass man draußen den Blick nicht genießen konnte. Ein und auschecken waren viel zu unfreundlich und nicht hilfsbereit. Hatte mich für hilton honor geraten zu registrieren aber am Ende wird die nächte die ich da blieb nicht eingetragt. Einchecken war Horror. Ich war einzige Person dort aber der Typ redete so schnell als ob hinter mir 100 Personen im Schlange stehen. So dass ich kaum versteht was er will. Hatte absolut kein Tipp gegeben, nichts! Nur dass nebenan ein Einkaufszentrum gibt. Das Zimmer war sonst abgesehen von Fenster sauber. Dennoch die Abfüllung wurde täglich für Tag immer anders. Mal fehlt kleine Handtücher, mal kein Müllsack usw. Frühstück war konstant langweilig. Jeden Tag das gleiche und viel zu wenig Auswahl. Plus Punkt gebe ich beim Obstauswahl. Auch hier fehlen immer dies und da. Mal gibt es Kakao Pulver und mal nicht. Heiße Milch wurde oft nicht kontrolliert, so dass es schon so kalt war, dass die Mischung mit Kakao unmöglich war. Ich würde nicht wieder kommen und kann keinen empfehlen. Es ist ziemlich weit weg von allem. Außer Touren von Hotel selbst kann man sonst kaum was machen. Vllt könnte man. Dennoch wurde mir nichts gesagt oder informiert.

Guter Service. Hilfreiche Rezeptionistin, als ich ein Problem mit meiner Zimmerzugangskarte hatte. Bettwäsche (Steppdecke) etwas staubig; Da ich allergische Rhinitis habe, fühlte ich mich etwas unwohl. Bettwäsche ok. Die Kissen auf dem Bett sahen schmutzig aus, aber die im Schrank waren in Ordnung. Bett sehr weich (ohne Übertreibung, man konnte das Federgeräusch auf einer Seite hören). Extrem laute Klimaanlage. Die Sauberkeit des Badezimmers hat mich überrascht. Einfaches, aber ausgezeichnetes Frühstück, tadellose Lounge.

We stayed here the 2nd time after 12 years. Picked a similar room as we had 1st time: ocean view king suite. It is a bit more expensive than their cheapest rooms, but EXCELLENT value for money. We had room on the 12th floor directly overlooking the waves with two windows. As the hotel and beach is to the south, you get BOTH sunrise and sunset view from your room...see photos attached:) Room is good size, reasonably fresh with only a bit of age and spots here and there. Cleaning is ok, and hotel is in excellent safe area with direct beach access. We much prefer Barra da Tijuca anyway, against the overhyped and crowded, expensive copacabana. But each to his own. Hotel itself (lobby etc) is nice, staff is great, restaurant has very good food. The cocktails of their bar at ground floor as well as by the pool are excellent quality and cheap (as usual in Brazil). HOWEVER... a big however... After booking directly via their ”secure” website, via Amex card, my card details were either sold or re-used by somebody at the hotel staff, as BEFORE our actual trip began, it started being used at various (online?) shops in Sao Paulo, Belo Horizonte and even in Madrid. I had already a 600 euro hit (in some 10 different fraudulous shoppings) before i realized and blocked it. Lucky with Amex's good insurance policy i did not lose money directly on this, nevertheless i ended up with no Amex card on my 2-weeks Brazil trip as oi didnt have the new one yet, and in general it gave a bitter taste to this stay. Because of this i have to reduce the rating. So a word of advice: Book this hotel with confidence, BUT book it via a well-known room broker website, NOT directly thru the Windsor website!

NNickGodliman60Wir leben in der Nähe von Rio, wenn wir eine Nacht in Rio gehen oder Freunde ausnehmen, ist das, wo wir bleiben! Wir buchen zwei Zimmer, ein für uns ein für die Nanny und Kinder ! Verbringen Sie den Tag bei dem schönen Pool, dann gehen Sie 5 Minuten zum Zentrum von Lapa am Abend! Das Hotel ist ein ziemlich ”Erwachsenes” Hotel, aber es passt uns aufgrund der Lage und die Kinder lieben den Pool ! Ich empfehle, hier eine oder zwei Nächte zu bleiben, um das Nachtleben zu erleben, Spanische Schritte und die lokale Vibe ! Frühstück ist gut, aber der ”Oasis” Faktor ist der große Deal ! Nebenan, checkin kann langsam sein, aber sie versprechen mir, sie arbeiten daran, und für den Preis, der ein absoluter Verkauf ist die meisten der Zeit macht das ein Gehirn nicht! Die Zimmer am Pool sind perfekt und wert das kleine Extra, das Personal ist großartig! Ich bleibe hier einmal im Monat und kann es nicht sehr empfehlen genug! Natürlich bekommen Sie, was Sie zahlen, es gibt keine Parkplätze, und es kann beschäftigt werden, aber als jemand, der in den Hotels viel, Ich empfehle das als eine Oase im Zentrum des Party-Bezirks und seine große Wertschätzung für Geld !

DDianaB3046Pros: Ich ging für eine Reise nach Rio 4-day, das Zimmer war schön und die Mitarbeiter waren nett. Erwarten Sie nicht einen Blick auf den Strand, da es mehrere Gebäude um diesen Ibis gibt. Die Lage ist großartig, es gibt viele Restaurants rund um und Sie haben Copacabana Strand nur wenige Blocks entfernt. Cons: - Sie sagten mir, sie würden das Zimmer alle 3 Tage reinigen - ich habe es nie gereinigt, obwohl ich um den Service gebeten habe. - Das Badezimmer hat wenig zu keiner Belüftung

NNingfeiWenn Sie in der Barra-Region kommen, verpassen Sie es nicht. Im Laden, an der Straße ist der Verkehr bequem, es gibt viele Kunstgemälde in der Innenstadt. Das Spa-Bar-Restaurant ist komplett, nicht weit entfernt, es gibt einen großen Supermarkt. Der Service der Rezeption ist sehr gut und die Erinnerung ist tief. Die Frühstückskategorie ist in einer multiumweltlichen Umgebung schön, nur Brotkuchen wählen Sie unzählige, die Tissue Hami-Baumwurzelsalat. Joghurt ist einer der besten ohne. Die empfohlene Bombe von Bacon-Baumwurzeln und die roten Baumwurzeln sind sehr chinesisch. Bitte verpassen Sie nicht.

Wonderful staff who allowed us to have a later check out for our flight. Super comfortable and lovely rooms. Swimming pool was lovely with the hot sun and the showers were amazing. There was a fire alarm in the middle of the night but the staff were really helpful and sorted it quickly and efficiently.

Ausgezeichnete Aufenthalt im Novotel RJ Santos Dumont. Das Hotelpersonal war großartig. Sehr freundlich, effizient und professionell. Das Hotel war sauber, ruhig und gut gepflegt. Das Fitnesszentrum war gut ausgestattet und verfügbar 24/7. Ich habe keine Chance, das Restaurant zu versuchen, so kann ich nicht zu diesem Aspekt des Hotels kommentieren. Wie der Name bedeutet, ist das Hotel für den Flughafen Santos Dumont günstig. Es ist ziemlich einfach 5 Gehminuten vom Hotel entfernt, vor allem auf einer Fußgängerbrücke über einer besetzten Straße. Es ist auch ca. 10 Gehminuten vom Rio Metro entfernt. Das einzige negative, und nicht der Schuld des Hotels, ist, dass dieser Teil von Rio ein Problem mit Obdachlosigkeit hat und nach Dunkelheit und Wochenenden ziemlich verlassen ist. Es könnte also nicht der beste Ort, um nachts zu gehen. Noch einmal, nicht die Schuld des Hotels, und es hat gute Sicherheit, aber sicherlich ein Teil Ihres Aufenthalts.

EEjam03Selbst bevor ich ins Hotel komme, halten sie mich auf, meine Temperatur zu überprüfen. Fernüberprüfung ist die Norm in diesem Hotel, das war großartig zu sehen. Handsanitär im ganzen Hotel. Das Personal wurde konsequent gereinigt. Am Frühstück war alles in Kunststoff auf dem Tisch beschichtet. Die Wächter brachten einen Schachtel von Lebensmitteln, die alle in Kunststoff beschichtet waren, aus welchen zu wählen. Die Auswahl war großartig. Und der Service war hervorragend. Das Front Desk-Personal war sehr hilfreich.

GGuest UserDies ist eine sehr schöne Lage in einem sehr sicheren Teil von Rio. Wir sind nur in diesem Bereich für den Rock in Rio Festivals gewesen. Es ist nicht das beste für die touristischen Attraktionen von Rio gelegen, sondern es ist viel sicherer als in der Nähe der Stadt. Wandern am Strand nachts und Besuch von Restaurants und Bars ist perfekt. Das Personal hier ist freundlich und es ist ein sauberes und zeitgemäßes Hotel. Der einzige schlechte Punkt ist die sehr langsame Ein- und Auscheckung des Vorderbüros. Die Strandbar direkt vor dem Hotel ist sehr schön und einen Besuch wert. Es gibt viele Einrichtungen um das Hotel selbst, darunter Geschäfte, Cafés, Restaurants und ein Haarkleider. Die ganze Unterkunft ist viel schöner als die Gebiete von Copacabana, da es viel weniger Fitnessjungen und Menschen mit Botox Körper gibt, obwohl es noch einige gibt. Der Strand ist während des Tages beschäftigt, aber ist fast leer kommen Sonnenuntergang. Ein Taxi draußen ist sehr einfach und alle sind die offiziellen gelben.

LLeila SeverinoIch habe mehrmals versucht, das Hotel anzurufen, bevor wir abreisten, und konnte mich telefonisch nicht melden. Beim Einchecken bat ich um einen zweiten Schlüssel, da wir mit unserer Tochter zusammen waren, die sicherlich andere Stunden als unsere haben würde und es notwendig war, den Aufzug aufzuschließen, aber wir erhielten ihn mit einem hässlichen Gesicht von der Rezeptionistin, die sagte, dass dies nur der Fall sei eine pro Familie. Das Zimmer hat keinen Kühlschrank. Ich brauchte eine PIN, damit der Fernseher funktioniert, und ich musste zur Rezeption gehen, weil das Zimmertelefon auch nicht funktionierte. Das Zimmer, in dem wir wohnten, hatte trotz Desinfektion einen Schimmelfleck an der Decke, der durch ein Leck verursacht wurde. Gutes Frühstück.
