Riads in Fez

The experience we had at another Riad set very, very high expectations, so read this with that in mind :) I've worked and stayed in luxury hotels around the world, and if you're looking for a stunning hotel, with pleasant service this would be a top choice. However overall we were looking for more of an intimate experience. Staff were very nice; they were young, friendly, kind and caring. Travelling with my mother however, it felt very uncomfortable when I was asked 'how my wife was doing?!', this summed up the disconnection between the hotel and the experience. A beautiful hotel but short of a 4/5 star experience. It is one of the most stunning Riads you will stay at. The restaurant serves great food, and the views are amazing - if you can handle the three floors of steep steps. Overall, you won't be disappointed but it felt like when we stayed there was no manager for those extra touches you expect when paying this much.

Das Haus aus dem 14. Jahrhundert, das Gebäude selbst ist sehr schön und erstaunlich. Das Frühstück ist oben im Gebäude, die Landschaft ist großartig und Sie können einen großen Bereich der Medina sehen. Die Zimmerausstattung ist auch gut, hat im Grunde alles was man braucht. Aber das alte Haus hat auch Probleme. Die Schalldämmung ist zu schlecht. Es gibt ein Zimmer im zweiten Stock, das mit dem Aufzug auf und ab zu hören ist, und der Lärm im Gang ist laut. Am Anreisetag war es schon Abend, und als ich das Haus betrat, stürzte ich in den Geruch von Desinfektionswasser. Die größte Aufschlüsselung ist, dass es in 2 Nächten 4 Leistungssprünge gibt. So etwas passiert in einem solchen Haus ist wirklich beängstigend. Als die Mitarbeiter sagten, dass dies noch nie zuvor passiert sei, fühlten sich die Leute noch beängstigender. Der Verkehr ist ziemlich bequem, Sie können in der Nähe parken und müssen Ihr Gepäck nicht zu lange schleppen. Aber dieser Ort ist eigentlich ziemlich weit weg von der regulären Altstadt, und die Abkürzungen in der Altstadt trauen sich nachts nicht zu gehen. Wir wollten gegen vier oder fünf Uhr am Straßenrand ein Taxi nehmen. Es war schwierig, ein Taxi zu nehmen. Es schien, dass die Taxis voller Leute waren. Am Morgen musste ich ein Taxi zur CTM-Station nehmen. Da es an diesem Ort tagsüber schwierig ist, ein Petit Taxi zu rufen, habe ich die Rezeption gebeten, bei der Buchung eines privaten Autos zu helfen. Es dauert ungefähr zehn Minuten und 100dhr. Wenn Sie wissen, dass Sie getötet wurden, können Sie nur diese Methode verwenden. Das Mädchen an der Rezeption ist sehr engagiert und hat das Gefühl, Tag und Nacht zu sitzen. Wenn Sie Fragen haben, fragen Sie sie einfach, aber es gibt den Leuten das Gefühl, dass das Aufschieben von Abendessen und Spa ein bisschen zu viel ist, aber ich sage nichts, wenn ich mich weigere. Wachte am Morgen vor der Abreise auf und half uns, das Frühstück zu packen.

Excellent experience! This place is beautiful, well located, and each room is unique. The staff and owner were incredibly helpful to my friend and I dealing with some bank troubles, they helped organize rides and tours, and both dinners we ate there were amazing. Strongly recommended.

Tucked away in the labyrinth alleys of the Medina, Riad Algila transports one into a world of tranquility & elegance. The riad's meticulously adorned courtyard with gentle tricking of water from the fountain, swaying green trees and intricate tile work serves as a peaceful sanctuary from the bustling city outside. Our 2 day stay was nothing short of enchanting. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, adorned with traditional Moroccan decor with modern amenities, provided a luxurious retreat after a day of exploration. The staff always attentive with insightful recommendations, made all the difference to our stay. Riad Algila truly embodies the essence of Moroccan hospitality offering a respite of calm and beauty amidst the vibrant tapestry of Fes.

If I ever return to Fes, I will definitely stay here again. In contrast to its historic and traditional charm, the rooms were incredibly clean and beautiful. Waking up to nothing but the sound of birds chirping in the morning was a dream. Every detail of the interior was stunning, and the staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming. The location is actually much easier to find compared to other accommodations in Fes. However, I did have a bit of trouble finding it at first and unfortunately got scammed by a fake guide—so please be careful! Also, keep in mind that the stairs are quite steep. Aside from those points, my stay was absolutely perfect.

Классный риад! Дизайн внутри произведение искусства! Все прилично, чисто, гостиная вызывает восторг, номера тоже оформлены круто, санузел в порядке, никаких приколов и не приятных моментов не было. Менеджер отеля приветлив, поможет вам с вопросами и хорошо говорит по-английски (лучше пишите в вотсап). Хотите пожить в необычном, атмосферном и очень красивом месте, заселяйтесь без раздумий. Советую. Находится посреди медины, и придется немного поплутать в поисках, но это будет со всеми риадами внутри, тут либиринт) Кому-то в медине кажется грязновати, опасно, не понятно куда идти, но тут бояться нечего, и есть указатели на домах. Там же рынок и достопримечательности, почти все обходится пешком кроме смотровой площадки на верху города.

My stay in Fez was truly memorable, thanks to the warmth and professionalism of Hager, the manager. We arrived later than planned, reaching the property at 11 p.m. instead of the expected 9 p.m., yet Hager welcomed us with kindness and patience, making us feel completely at ease despite the late hour. That first impression set the tone for the entire stay. Hager was also incredibly accommodating with breakfast. She kindly arranged breakfast earlier than the usual start time, and it was a delicious traditional Moroccan breakfast — fresh, generous, and beautifully prepared. It was one of the highlights of the stay and a perfect way to start the day. At the time of leaving Fez, I had arranged my transport independently, but the situation did not go as planned and became stressful. When Hager became aware of this, she went out of her way to help, reassured me, and kindly allowed me to stay at the property during the unexpected delay. The property is perfectly located in the heart of the medina, offering an authentic Fez experience while remaining peaceful and comfortable. The room was clean, well-maintained, and felt welcoming after long days of exploring. What truly stood out was the genuine care and hospitality throughout the stay. Hager’s calm, thoughtful, and supportive approach made a real difference and reflects the high standards of this place. I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Fez — not just for the location and comfort, but for the exceptional hospitality you’ll experience here.

設施：淋浴間特別大，洗澡特別爽，總體來説比較古色古香，絕對不能説得上狠心，唯一的缺點是網絡真的很差很差，基本等同於沒有網……扣的分基本是扣給了網絡很差這件事情 衞生：非常乾淨 環境：在一大堆巷子裏面找路其實有點困難，路上有摩洛哥人幫忙指路，竟然還索要的小費，但是店主把他們關在門外了，我們沒有給小費。環境非常清幽，泳池的庭院也太好看，太好拍照了！ 服務：服務特別好，入住的時候會給你泡綠茶，而且會問你早餐想吃什麼，所有摩洛哥的風味都能吃到！

Service de navette pour et de l’aéroport proposée par l établissement: assez pratique lorsqu’on arrive tard comme nous. Facturé 25€ (250 dirhams)inclus la majoration de 5€ pour service nocturne. Chambre propre et literie confortable Salle de bain très petite, douche sans bac, l eau coule directement sur le sol et l’eau met pas mal de temps à s écouler par le syphon: pas trop pratique si vous êtes pressés et que vous devez prendre votre douche l un après l’autre rapidement . Le support de pommeau de douche cassé, il fallait le tenir à la main Produits d hygiène a ramener, shampooing non fourni ( difficile quand on voyage avec bagage en cabine pour 2-3 jours) Service de petit déjeuner basique, dommage pour certains produits commerciaux ( olives noires et fromage quiri ) Crepe et brioche préparé sur place, elles étaient très bonne Emplacement parfait , juste à côté d un de suq de la vieille médina Pour manger il y a plein de restos sur place mais ils sont relativement chers car on est en zone touristique Ne pas hésiter à aller manger dans la ville nouvelle, on y va avec taxi pour 2€ par trajet (4€ a/r) Attention: l hôtel affirme accepter la carte bancaire mais nous n avons pas pu régler 170dirham(17€) par carte car commission trop importante . Que les montants élevés sont acceptés ( à prendre en compte si vous payez en fin de séjour et que vous avez l’argent compté) Wifi gratuit , terrasse sympa mais dommage ne pas y pouvoir prendre le petit dej Dans l ensemble séjour agréable et rapport qualité prix correcte

Wenn Sie in Fes bleiben, empfehle ich Ihnen hier zu bleiben. Personal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit, Zimmer sauber und komfortabel, und das Hotel selbst als ein großes traditionelles marokkanisches Gefühl. Mohammed et al. machte uns sehr willkommen. Die Lage ist großartig, zu Fuß von Medina-Mazes entfernt. Brillante Aufenthalt und genossen Fes sehr.
