A bit difficult to find this place as inside the traffic free area of old Putignano. Free parking available about 200m away so bear this in mind if lugging luggage about. The place itself was built in 1580 but has been fully modernised whilst keeping its old charm. It's a fabulous building. The owners even made breakfast for us at 06:30 so we could eat before departure. What a breakfast if typically Italian, fantastic.They couldn't do enough.

The owners Marilena and Francesco are very very friendly and helpfull people. Rooms are all unique and in style, very very clean and quiet! Super breakfast with lots of fresh cheese, fruits etc and own made cookies. Very central for all places in Puglia to see and visit, don't forget Pugliano old city itselfe! We have a really great memory left from our staying, will be hard to match anywhere else. Thanks again Marilena and Stefano!

Ho messo ⭐⭐⭐⭐ solo xke manca l ascensore, purtroppo essendo un edificio antico. Ma x il resto ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. Unico, bellissimo, stanze piccole ma spettacolari, ogni piano che percorrerete rimarrete a bocca aperta, oggetti antichi, unici. E nn vi dico poi la colazione preparata dalla moglie del proprietario.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quanta bonta, che servizio impeccabile, mi incantavo guardarla mentre preparava la tavola. Il b&b è situato nel centro storico, 5 minuti a pieda dalla strada principale dove potrete trovare parking 🅿 x l auto. Complimenti☺️

Abbiamo pernottato con amici in questo meraviglioso B&B nel centro storico di Putignano. L’edificio, caratteristico dell’architettura locale, è realizzato interamente in pietra: un’esperienza davvero unica. Le camere sono spaziose, arredate con gusto e complete di ogni comfort. Il materasso e i cuscini sono di eccellente qualità: di rado abbiamo riposato così bene fuori casa. A colazione il buffet è ricco, con frutta di stagione, torte caserecce e prodotti tipici locali. Il clima della casa è familiare: i proprietari sono cortesi, accoglienti, premurosi e sempre presenti per qualsiasi necessità.

Abbiamo scelto questa struttura per motivi strategici, in quanto molto comoda per visitare in giornata Matera,Alberobello,Polignano a Mare. Devo dire che il B&B Santo Stefano ha superato le nostre aspettative, ambiente caratteristico e pulito, colazioni abbondanti e con prodotti locali di qualità, infine titolari gentili e sempre disponibili nel darci suggerimenti. COMPLIMENTI e grazie di tutto.
