Il Giardino Del Sole

We went for our friends wedding, with our 2yrs old daughter. The food is incredible, all the products are local, their jams made of oranges and passion fruit are to die for! The chefs in the kitchen and the pizza master are very talented and their food is exceptional! Wood fired oven pizzas are some of the best I ever had in my life! the location is a dream, everything was renovated by Marco and his father with the help of Signora Enza and their daughter. Behind the reception you can see the pictures of where they started from. Seeing the dreamlike location they have built together is incredible. The porcelain and the old family furniture in the big dining hall came out of a dream, literally, you could spend the whole day looking and wandering about the stories behind every little piece. The attention to detail is on point, from the very clean and tidy rooms to the swimming pool area passing through the garden and the orange orchard. Our daughter couldn't be happier in the playground and running around the whole place. Marco and his mother Enza are the best host! They are very helpful and ready to fulfill every request, even of a picky 2yrs old eater. We couldn't compliment and thank them enough. The staff is great and they work really hard to make everything perfect. Our friends wedding was even more magical thanks to the professionalism of everyone working there. We fell in love with every single detail. We can't wait to come back and visit you over and over again.we Strongly recommend it!!!!

Rooms are clean, the staff very helpful and we enjoyed sharing some discussions with them. The food was excellent, we liked the their preparations and the food is locally, the taste is excellent. The pool are is of good space and we loved spending some time in the pool too. I will rely recommend this place to stay

Although the restaurant was quite good and the pool area was very clean and taken care of. The rooms were very dirty and not cleaned enough. the grounds too were not cleaned at all. We had to pay the total amount before checking in, even if we were staying for 4 nights and we arrived very late at night with two young children.

Super cute and pretty agriturismo near Catania - the folks who operate this are very friendly and considerate.

Fantastic value , ( people who complain want 5* for 3* prices), its a farm .... local products, Family run. Staff could not do enough for you , had a few small problems on arrival ,but sorted out straight away. Pizzas fantastic, Al la cart not so Don't know why you need swimmers pool caps ? & single beds could be tied together for double. Stop you falling down the hole.

Nice place in unic location far from main road

Ci siamo stati per il compleanno di mia moglie ci hanno obbligato a prendere il menù baby per un bambino di 3 anni che non mangia nulla e cosi è stato ed il proprietario è stato di una scortesia enorme. Ci hanno portato l'acqua del rubinetto a temperatura ambiente, ci hanno fatto pagare un servizio torta inesistente perche ci siamo serviti da soli, stessa cosa con lo spumante e per ultimo ma non meno importante antipasti miseri dal sapore sgradevole, pasta scotta e poca solo i secondi erano quasi nella norma. Mai più

Posto davvero ben curato, bello sopratutto il percorso degli animali tenuti bene e pulitissimi, i bambini hanno apprezzato tantissimo e lo abbiamo fatto più volte. Consigliato il ristorante , antipasti ottimi il cavolfiore e i ceci buonissimi, ,primo al pistacchio strepitoso , mentre i secondi così così. Ho apprezzato però che fosse tutto di loro produzione . Unica pecca le tempistiche; troppo tempo tra le portate. Ci siamo seduti alle 13 e 30 e alzati alle 16 con tante pause . Ovviamente è soggettivo ma quando vado in un agriturismo preferisco passare più tempo all aria aperta che fare un pranzo di 2 ore e mezza anche perchè i bambi sapendo che fuori ci sono le giostre ecc tendono a scappare via. Consiglierei di essere più celeri così da poter godere di più della giornata. Servizio accogliente, divertente e i proprietari molto disponibili. Non do le 5 stelle perché pur avendoci chiamato al telefono tante volte per la conferma della prenotazione, in nessuna di queste purtroppo ci è stato detto che per quel giorno non sarebbe stato possibile fare il giro a cavallo perchè mancava il personale. Ho atteso invano e ce stata poca chiarezza in questo. Nel complesso esperienza molto positiva.

Ci sono stata per un matrimonio ed abbiamo pernottato li due notti… È anche un bel posto se non fosse per la trascuratezza generale… non c’è tanta cura degli spazi e non è il massimo nella pulizia.. il personale non era il top della cortesia. Devo dire che a sorpresa per il matrimonio abbiamo mangiato bene… dico a sorpresa perché le premesse non era il massimo. Non ci tornerei nuovamente.
