Was für ein schönes kleines Hotel! Ich kann nicht die Lobbys aller Mitarbeiter genug singen! Vor der Reise schickte ich Fragen und bat mich um Rat, alle per E-Mail und ich bekam so schnell Antworten. Als ich dort war, waren die Mitarbeiter wieder so hilfreich, freundlich, neugierig, wirklich nichts zu viel. Das Zimmer war ein Einzelzimmer, das Bett war ein komfortables Doppel, aber das Zimmer war klein, das Badezimmer war ausreichend mit einer 700 x 700 Dusche in der Ecke (bitte von einem Squeeze für mich, aber andere würden finden) Das Fenster wurde in 2 Richtungen geöffnet und es gab eine fantastische voll funktionsfähige Luftkon-Einheit. 5Min. Wand von der nächsten U-Bahnlinie und ca. 15Min. zu Fuß zum Zentrum der Stadt, und vielleicht 30Min. zu Fuß zum Fluss. Beachten Sie, es ist alles auf dem Hügel zurück zum Hotel von der Stadt! Ich würde empfehlen, hier nochmal zu bleiben!

The treatment I received at this hostel was despicable, unreasonable and hostile. My flight was delayed for 5 hours and whilst in airport I received a very encouraging email from 'so cool' explaining reception closes at 9pm and if I haven't checked in by then I would have to wait to the morning. Having found somewhere else to stay for that night, I turned up at this hostel the next morning, the rigid lady at reception simply wasn't interested or concerned in the least of my predicament and informed me I was a ”no show” and my room was gone for the whole 3 nights I'd booked. I asked for a partial refund for the further 2 nights as I was now having to find somewhere else to stay and would have to pay top price, she was not interested to know this and told me there would be no refund and no room. Whilst I understand policies are policies I think a bit of allowance for unforeseen circumstances wouldn't go amiss. I had no control of my flight being delayed and had I not received the welcome text reminding me of reception opening hours I would have thought twice about contacting them, their communication was confusing and had mixed messages. More unforgivably is the attitude of the manager even when she knew I had nowhere to go and would need the partial refund to secure alternative accomodation, she was not losing any money and had sold my bed twice. I have used *********** for years to book hostels and I have never received such harsh heartless treatment. Whilst I get business is business, there's more to life than a computer database and rigid rules that don't allow for unforeseen circumstances. The rigid lady tried to tell me it was *********** who cancelled me but this was just a lie,. Thankfully the 'hostel Rosalina' saved my bacon and were a fantastic contrast to ”so cool's awful treatment. The receptionist was wonderful and helpful and her friendliness reassured me Porto was not full of heartless money grabbing robots. Avoid this hostel if you're not going to be there for 9pm or you have any chance of a flight delay. .

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut, das Zimmer ist sehr neu, der Umfang ist groß und es gibt ein Auto. Der Service ist sehr gut. Die Zimmereinrichtungen sind sehr benutzerfreundlich. Es ist bequem, in die Stadt zu gehen, und man kann zu Fuß gehen.

Super Lage, Sauberkeit und Ausstattung! Exzellenter Wert für Geld. Der Chef ist auch sehr höflich.

Sehr gutes Hotel, freundliches Personal, Rezeption 24h besetzt. Das Frühstücksbüffet ist gut, Auswahl an Speisen ist nicht groß, aber sehr lecker. Man hat auch die Möglichkeit zu Mittag günstig zu essen. Unser Zimmer war auf der Straßenseite, daher etwas laut.

This is a decent budget hotel and I think it lives up to its 2-star status. Very convenient location with all transport links and a short walk to Jardins do Palácio de Cristal. Interior decor is dated and needs more than just a lick of paint but bathroom in my room was modern and fully functional. Room was a good size, clean with comfortable bed. Some noise from the lifts and the main street but easy to get used to. Breakfast was included in my offer, it’s a simple but fresh offering. I gave an extra star for guest service as staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, from reception team, through restaurant and cleaning team and made my stay special.

Das Hotel liegt nicht weit vom Stadtzentrum entfernt in der renovierten Markthalle ”Mercado do Bom Successo”. Der Zugang zum Hotel ist nur über eine relativ lange Treppe erreichbar, einen Gepäckservice gibt es nicht. Die Zimmer sind recht schön eingerichtet und sauber, aber auch recht klein. Der Blick aus meinem Zimmer war eine Katastrophe, denn vor dem Fenster hindert eine Art Holzgerüst den Blick nach draußen. Da es draußen bis am späten Abend meist recht laut war, musste ich bei geschlossenem Fenster schlafen. Das Personal an der Rezeption war stets freundlich, das Personal beim Frühstück hingegen war nicht freundlich.
