Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr zentral. Der Check-In war schnell und sehr freundlich. Auch nach dem Check-In zeichnete sich das Rezeptionspersonal durch große Freundlichkeit aus. Unser Zimmer lag in der 6. Etage (601). Leider war der Zuschnitt des Zimmers nicht optimal. In der Werbung macht das Hotel auf ”lichtdurchflutete Zimmer” aufmerksam. Unseres war eher ein langer, dunkler Schlauch. Schade - hat unseren Aufenthalt ein wenig eingetrübt. Ansonsten war sowohl das Café als auch das Restaurant gut, das dortige Personal auch sehr bemüht. Sauberkeit des Zimmers war tadellos. Auch die Gym war ok, ein Wasserspender wäre dort sehr schön gewesen. Fazit: bis auf den Zuschnitt des Zimmers war alles gut.

Ok, also sind wir sehr früh angekommen und die ganze Front und eine Seite des Hotels ist durch Bau für die neue U-Bahn umgeben. Ich fühle mich wirklich für das Personal, aber sie haben es gut verarbeitet. Wir mussten lange warten, um zu checken, aber das war, weil sie uns ein Zimmer weg vom Gebäude gegeben haben wollten. Die Junior Suite war großartig und das Empfangsgebäude war fab. Das Frühstück war erstaunlich und das Personal war wunderschön.

Wir waren vom 20.8-22.8.21 in Porto und haben uns für das Hotel entschieden, da das Schwesternhotel geschlossen war und uns dieses Haus angeboten wurde. + Wunderschönes Hotel, mit wahnsinnig schön restauriert + Jedes Zimmer ist nach einem portugiesischen Schriftsteller benannt + Sehr saubere und wunderschöne und gestylte Zimmer + sehr bequeme Betten und Kissen + grosses Badezimmer in einem Kubus mitten im Zimmer +Sehr gut riechendes Duschgel, Shampoo und Conditioner + Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter, die sehr gut Englisch sprechen (ausser beim Auschecken) +Frühstück war sehr lecker - Keine Ablageflächen im Badezimmer/Kubus -Die Toilette hat bei geöffneten Deckel nach Kanalisation gerochen. -Zeitfenster für Frühstück von 45min -Auschecken war etwas chaotisch, wir wurden auch nicht gefragt wie es uns gefallen hat. Was ich immer sehr schade finde. Empfang und Verabschiedung finde ich das A und O.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal in Porto und wählten für die ersten vier Nächte das Le Monumental Palace direkt im Stadtzentrum. - Diese Wahl haben wir keinen Moment bereut!!! Der Empfang war freundlich und im Zimmer warteten frisches Obst, lokale Süßigkeiten und Portwein. Unsere Suite war sehr geräumig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Bad war einfach toll: 2 Waschbecken, Badewanne, Dusche, separate Toilette - eben 5-Sterne-Niveau. Insgesamt strahlte das Haus überall einen erstklassigen Eindruck aus, alles funktionierte! - Leider ist das heute in Häusern dieser Kategorie nicht selbstverständlich. Das Frühstück war ganz hervorragend, tolle Auswahl und höchste Qualität. Auch die Bar besuchten wir mehrfach aufgrund der interessanten Cocktails und des freundlichen Personals. Einen Abend aßen wir im Yakuza, auch hier höchstes Niveau, wenn uns der brasilianische Einfluß bei dem Udon-Gericht etwas zu stark war. Doch das ist Geschmackssache. Das für einen Aben von uns favourisierte Steakrestaurant war leider die ganze Woche ausgebucht. Doch auch hier konnte das nette Personal im Hotel helfen. Und die Alternative war eine Superempfehlung. Einfach ein toller Aufenthalt. 5 Sterne absolut gerechtfertigt. Das passen Anspruch und Wirklichkeit als auch Preis und Leistung.

Das G.A. Palace ist ein großes Boutique-Hotel im Spaziergang von vielen Restaurants und Attraktionen von Porto. Das Hotel, von seinen Zimmern bis zur Lobby bis zu seinem Poolbereich, fühlt sich in einer entspannten, unterbewerteten Weise luxuriös. Mein Zimmer war groß und außergewöhnlich komfortabel. Das Personal, das mein Zimmer betrete, hat einen hervorragenden Job gemacht, das Zimmer während meines 4-Nacht-Aufenthalts in Gefängniszustand zu halten. Das Lobby-/Vorreisepersonal war immer hilfreich mit Empfehlungen. Ich konnte mit ihrer Hilfe eine große letzte Minute Weintour reservieren. Meine Lieblingsstücke hier waren das erstaunliche Frühstück jeden Morgen unten, der entspannende Pool/Spa-Raum und das große Zimmer. Ich würde sicher gerne hier immer wieder bleiben. Kudos an das große Team von Mitarbeitern, die arbeiten, um G.A. Palace so eine angenehme Erfahrung zu machen.

The room on the 1st floor was Spacious, clean, the air con and black out curtains worked well and the bathroom had 2 sinks, a bidet and a large shower. The staff are all very helpful, polite and friendly. The lovely roof top terrace is a great bonus after a day sightseeing, the drinks are reasonably priced e.g. 3.50 euros for a large beer and 7 for a cocktail (these are well made, not like a certain place we went too in Porto -WOW !!) you could taste the alcohol and the bar staff will bring them up to you, also a very nice addition is free nibbles later in the afternoon. All round great hotel.

Wir blieben dort 3 Nächte. Obwohl das Zimmer auf der ersten Etage mit dem Rücken stand, war die Ansicht noch erstaunlich. Zimmer groß, Bett und Matrose groß. Toilette sehr klein und schwierig, um Ihre Sachen umzuziehen oder zu verlassen. Allerdings nicht ein großes Problem. Die Handtücher wurden jeden Tag geändert. Das Frühstück war erstaunlich, verschiedene und reichhaltig. Wir haben fast alles versucht. Das Essen war geschmackvoll und frisch. Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Sie beantworteten alle unsere Fragen und gab uns nützliche Ratschläge zu Reisezielen und Reisekarten. Ich bat sie, das Duschegel nach dem Ende zu füllen, und sie taten das nächste Sekunde. Die Küchenpersonal ist sehr hilfreich und hat nachdem Sie gefragt haben, alle schmutzigen Gerichte aus dem Tisch aufgehoben. Die Lage ist nicht im Stadtzentrum, aber der Busterminal ist hinter dem Einkaufszentrum (das nahe dem Hotel liegt), so dass wir alle Möglichkeiten haben, jeden Bus zu überall zu nehmen. Sie können auch die Ande Travel Bus-Karte im Busterminal hoch. Der U-Bahnhof ist auch neben Casa Da Musica (alle Busse stehen dort an). Sehr gutes Hotel, wir können sicher noch einmal dort bleiben, wenn wir Porto besuchen.

The location of the S.Bento Residences is terrific: across the street from the São Bento Station, the São Bento Metro stop, which has a lift and the Living Tours office, which is the meeting point for day tours to the Douro Valley. The studio we stayed in (line A facing the side of São Bento Station behind the façade of the old original building rather than facing Av. Dom Afonso Henriques) is beautifully decorated and light, as pictured on the website. However, it did seem smaller than the pictures suggest. There are two steps from the entry area to the living space, which was very clean except for the carpet, which is stained. The sofa, side chair and bed are quite low. There’s no closet, just a rail with hangars in the living area. A luggage rack or two would have been nice. The bathroom is very small with almost no room around the sink for toothpaste and toothbrushes. There is some storage under the sink. The shower has a handheld attachment with several settings. The shower partition only partially blocks water, so you have to be careful where it’s directed. The bath towels are lovely: large and thick. However, they are only replaced every three days. Washcloths are not provided so bring your own. Although there’s a washing machine, it cannot be used as a dryer, which would have been handy after we got soaked in a thunderstorm. The staff kindly gave us a drying rack. They patiently answered several questions during the booking process. One thing to watch for: although we had already paid for our entire stay, upon arrival we were asked to pay again. That error was fixed immediately. There’s only a tiny reception area and lift (no lobby). On the ground floor, there’s a trendy-looking burger restaurant that’s opened late, which we didn’t try. Ubers had no problem picking us up or dropping us off at S.Bento Residences.

A nice hotel that is located near all that Porto has to offer. we enjoyed our stay in Porto and the staff at the Porto Royal Bridges were very accommodating and personable. Late night drinks at the bar were delicious and the atmosphere was very relaxing. The rooms were cleaned daily and had most amenities that we were used to. This is a small hotel with approximately 70 rooms situated near all the attractions. I would definitely put this hotel on your list if your visiting Porto. The staff made our stay even more special.

Das ist ein kleines Hotel in einer guten Lage. Wenn Sie eintreten (Buzz um Eintritt zu erhalten), gehen Sie zum Aufzug bis zum 2. Stock. Das Hotel ist im 2. - 5. Stock. Sehr sauber und gemütlich, freundlich und hilfsbereites Personal. Korridore sind weiß und grau plain. Die Zimmer sind wunderschön - komfortables Bett, große Dusche, Kettle mit Tee, Safe, hängenden Raum und viele offene Hülsen, TV. Toiletten sind Shampoo, Duschegel, Körperlotion und Seife. Frühstück ist mit heißen Eiern und Sauce, Ruhe ist kalt und lecker. Sehr schön außerhalb der Terrasse aus dem Frühstücksraum. separate Gebühr für das Frühstück. Es gibt auch eine gute Backwaren, die Frühstück 2 Türen runter macht. Bar auch. Kein Restaurant, aber viel in der Nähe - siehe meine Bewertungen von Laurear, Vaccarum und Encaixados - alle innerhalb von 10 Minuten zu Fuß und gut. Wenn Sie lieben frische Fische gehen zu O Valentin in Matosinhos (Taxi 15 - 20 Euro) oder Metro. Ich würde wieder bleiben.

Sehr zufrieden! ! ! Wird in Zukunft leben~ Die Lage ist sehr gut, 5 Minuten zu Fuß vom Bahnhof, 15 Minuten zu Fuß zum Fluss, 5 Minuten zum Supermarkt! Die Schwester an der Rezeption sieht gut aus und bricht die Wahrnehmung der Portugiesen. Das Zimmer ist zu groß, sauber und hygienisch, es ist fast wie zu Hause. Ein tolles kleines Vintage Hotel. Mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Die Lage des Hotels könnte nicht besser sein, super zentral. Von hieraus erreicht man alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sehr schnell zu Fuß. Das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig und sorgt für einen guten Start in den Tag. Das Personal zeigte sich immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit- wirklich toll! Ebenfalls zu erwähnen ist der Transfer vom Flughafen zum Hotel, für 28€ . Paola der Taxifahrer war sehr nett und arbeitet wohl schon lange für das Hotel! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!
