Sehr zentral gelegen. Viele Bushaltestellen in ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen sowie Restaurants und Supermarkt ”Pingo” (tolle Auswahl) Das Hotel ist ca. 15 Minuten vom Flughafen entfernt, liegt also in der Einflugschneise. Die ersten Flugzeuge kommen gegen 6.00h. Teilweise Chaos beim Frühstück (Tassen fehlen, langes Warten an den 2 Kaffeeautomaten) Personal ziemlich kurz angebunden.

Hotel nice and well situated. Locals very helpful and restaurants reasonably priced(meal for three with alcohol and deserts around £60) However at the moment while still here there are unfortunately around 60/70 scouts with another 6/7 or so adults. Because they move as a group this massively impacts on other residents. At breakfast each morning it is hard to get a table between around 7:45 and 8:30, a pain if you have an excursion and need to eat at that time. In addition the outdoor pool is rammed from 4pm onwards. Can use the indoor one but it’s really hot. I rarely complain about anything but in this case after simply mentioning this to a receptionist his response was very poor. I asked how long they are staying for and he would not tell me. Need to know so I can plan my family’s time around this. He also just kept shrugging his shoulders when I said about the impact of soo many people moving as one group. The scouts themselves are fairly well behaved just a shame the hotel hasn’t managed this better. Ie separate room for them at breakfast, set pool time in advance so families can plan around it, etc and also trained their staff in just a tiny bit of empathy

Wir haben das Hotel über *********** für 75 Euro DZ/FR gebucht für zwei Tage vor unserer Kreuzfahrt mit der MS Hamburg und waren begeistert. Von außen sieht es nicht besonders schön aus, aber innen hat es ein gemütliches und schönes Design mit leichtem asiatischem Touch. Der Garten im Innenhof des Hotels ist ebenfalls sehr schön angelegt. Insgesamt war das ein unglaublich gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Wir würden dieses Hotel auch unseren Freuden empfehlen. Lage und Umgebung: Das Hotel liegt 10-15 Minuten Fußweg von der Innenstadt entfernt. Die direkte Umgebung ist nicht besonders erwähnenswert. Zimmer: Die Zimmer waren nicht besonders groß, allerdings schön eingerichtet. Das Badezimmer verfügte über eine Badewanne. Für uns ein Pluspunkt. Service: Kein Grund zu Beschwerde. Alles in Ordnung. Gastronomie: Beim Frühstück gab es mehr Qualität statt Quantität. Auch mit einigen lokalen Produkten der Azoren. Freizeitangebote: Pool, Innenpool, Tennisplatz und Fitnessraum haben wir gesehen, aber nicht genutzt. Der Innenpool könnte aber schöner eingerichtet sein. Der wirkte sehr steril.

We selected the Canadiano on the advice of a friend. I'm pleased to report that it was a very pleasant, comfortable hotel for our 6 night stay in Ponta Delgada. The beds were very comfortable. The rooms were well kept. They offer complimentary breakfast for their guests. If you want to spend your days exploring, not trying to find somewhere to have breakfast, this is welcomed feature. We rented a car to explore the island and they have ample free parking. It doesn't have a great view of anything and it doesn't have a swimming pool. So if you're not planning to leave your hotel, this probably isn't the best choice. But, I can't image anyone going to Sao Miguel just to stay in the hotel - there is so much to see. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone planning to visit this beautiful island.

Terrible experience. We booked in Nov 2022 for a May 2023 one week stay in a suite. We returned to our suite halfway through our stay to lay down in the early afternoon after a very challenging hike. Our sleep was savagely interrupted by the sound of drilling into concrete—kind of like having a concrete helmet on with some one drilling into it. We called the front desk and were told the drilling would continue until 5PM and would continue for every day for “many days.” Turns out there was a major renovation project going on we were not told about —either during booking or check/in.(Had we known we would have stayed in another hotel). After more exasperated calls to the front desk we arranged with management to switch rooms but management could not/would not have the painful for the ears drilling stopped. Because of the torture like conditions we quickly packed to get out of the room, shoving half our clothes in plastic bags ( like the homeless) and walking across the main lobby exhausted and in bathrobes to get to another room. Management offered us a free massage or dinner both of which we declined because at that point out aim was to minimize the amount of time spent in the hotel. To add insult to injury we requested breakfast bags to take with us when we left at 0630 AM on the day of departure (the hotel dining room breakfast did not open until 0730). This was all arranged with the front desk the evening before we left. We were even showed a picture of what would be in the bags. When we went to check out at 0620 we’re told no breakfast bags but instead to quickly eat because the dining room was open (apparently opened for a flight crew) and our 0630 taxi to the airport was already waiting for us. We did not eat breakfast—we had to inhale it. If this is Azorean hospitality—what the hotel advertises—we want no more of it.

Hotel muito bom para ficar hospedado, seja para uma escapadinha ou para uma estadia durante um maior período de tempo. Fornece uma experiência agradável. Comodidades muito boas, decoração bonita, boa limpeza, funcionários simpáticos e prestáveis. Quartos espaçosos e cama confortável. Zona do spa, piscina, jacuzzi, etc, é agradável. Pequeno-almoço bom e variado e o jantar buffet é ótimo, com várias opções e comida saborosa.

Anlässlich einer Wanderreise mit anschließendem Inselhopping wurden wir vom Reiseveranstalter Olimar hier eingebucht. Die Lobby mit Restaurant-Bereich und Bar hat den Charme einer Bahnhofshalle. Der Strassenlärm erreicht uns hier im 6. Stockwerk immer noch deutlich. Ein großer, hübscher nachts bunt beleuchteter Springbrunnen wird erst nach Mitternacht abgeschaltet und trägt bis dahin zur Geräuschkulisse bei. Das Servicepersonal gibt sich große Mühe, mir die fünf Tage COVID Quarantäne so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Allerdings war es gestern mehrfach nicht möglich, telefonisch bis in die Küche vorzudringen, um mir ein kleines Abendessen zu bestellen. Meine auf dem Anrufbeantworter platzierte Order wurde nicht abgehört. Die Dachterrasse ist gut nutzbar, ein Swimmingpool circa 2x 3 m groß, eine erhoffte Poolbar gibt es nicht. Alles sehr sauber, und offensichtlich für den Infektionsfall gut ausgerüstet. Der Fußweg zum Hafen dauert eine knappe halbe Stunde, es sind 1,8 km.

Schön, sehr ruhig gelegenes Komplex mit Apartments und Hotelzimmern. Das Komplex befindet sich im ruhigen Dorf Capela, 15 km vom Hauptstadt und Flughafen. Ein Auto ist ein Muss, aber Sie brauchen es immer noch, um diese wunderschöne Insel zu besuchen. Unsere 2-kamerappartement war sehr geräumig und sauber. Die Betten waren gut mit einer Auswahl aus zwei Schranken. Die Küche ist sehr komplett mit Backofen, Mikrowelle, Nespresso-Gerät (Kopf-Zahlungs-) und Wasserkocher mit kostenlosem Tee vorhanden. Das Hotel möchte die Gäste aufgrund der Umwelt zu weniger Reinigungsdienst anregen. Bei keiner Reinigung erhalten Sie täglich einen Gutschein von €3, um im Restaurant zu verbringen. Aber €3 in diesem Restaurant ist nicht viel wert, da die Preise sind riesig: ein Cappuccino kostet hier €3,50, während auf der ganzen Insel die Kaffeepreise um €1, 20 liegen Sie müssen die Gutscheine selbst fragen, Ich fand es kein handliches System und die Ausgleichszahlung ist natürlich absolut nicht proportional (€3 versus keine Reinigung, Handtücher, geformte Bett, Teezusatz und Flasche Wasser). Das Restaurant, wo wir Kaffee getrunken mit den Gutscheinen, fanden wir uns unfreundlich. Der Sauna, Fitnessraum und der Innen- und Außenpool wurden nicht genutzt, so kann ich auch nicht bewerten. ausreichender Parkplatz. Gemütliche Kaffee zwischen den lokalen in der Cafeteria Moby Dick im Dorf trinken. Supermärkte Pingo Doce und Continentale in der Nähe von Auto entfernt. Alles mit einem guten Aufenthalt.

Albergo lontano dal centro del paese di Capelas, raggiungibile a piedi attraverso una panoramica strada sterrata (priva di illuminazione pubblica, e quindi non percorribile dopo il tramonto), oppure rasentando i muretti in pietra lungo una strada carrozzabile dove le vetture sfrecciano veloci… L’albergo offre alcune attività, per chi desidera godere appieno di una vacanza rilassante, come ad esempio una piscina esterna circondata da molti lettini a disposizione degli ospiti, palestra interna dotata di numerosi attrezzi, una piscina interna, ed una sala giochi con tavoli per giocare a carte o a dama, con anche un tavolo da biliardo (a seconda dell’attività scelta in sala giochi, ci potrebbero essere costi da dover regolare in reception / si veda descrizione foto). Sono a disposizione degli ospiti, gratuitamente, degli ampi teli di spugna da utilizzare in piscina. Nelle camere, a disposizione gratuita ci sono bottiglie d’acqua, bollitore e bustine di tisane e zucchero. Ci sono anche cialde di caffè Nespresso, a pagamento extra di 0,75€ cadauna. L’albergo ha un’anima “green”: oltre a proporre agli ospiti un cambio non quotidiano della biancheria da bagno (che, comunque, viene effettuata se richiesto), premia coloro che non necessitino di far rassettare ogni giorno la camera da letto ed il bagno, con un voucher del valore di 3,00 Eur da utilizzare al bar dell’albergo o per le bevande ai pasti in ristorante. Se si preferisce una pulizia quotidiana, bisogna dirlo in reception ogni giorno entro le ore 12.00 (ed in questo caso si “perde” il voucher). In caso contrario, la camera non viene rassettata, e alla sera si può chiedere il voucher il cui valore può essere scalato immediatamente dalla consumazione di bevande al pasto, da regolare con pagamento diretto o con addebito alla camera. Le stanze sono ampie, dotate di balcone, con pavimento in listelli “simil-legno” (no moquette). Letti ampi e con materassi ergonomicamente rigidi al punto giusto. Poche prese a muro per ricaricare, contemporaneamente, telefoni mobili e p.c. od altri dispositivi elettronici. Rete Wifi gratuita a disposizione degli ospiti, ma priva di password di sicurezza. Per chi si sposta in automobile, l’albergo dispone di due piazzali di parcheggio, interni alla struttura ma scoperti (parcheggio non interrato). Colazione e cena a buffet: ampia scelta di piatti, ben curati, e variati tutti i giorni. Servizio attento e non assillante del personale di sala che libera il tavolo dalle stoviglie usate. Personale di reception cortese, che parla anche inglese. E’ un albergo nel quale ci siamo trovati bene e che consigliamo.
