Das Hotel ist sehr ruhig gelegen direkt am Meer. Ausstattung insgesamt gut. Das SPA ist gut aber die Behandlungsräume sind direkt neben dem Hallenbad. Es kann also auch etwas laut werden. Frühstück ist kein in Ordnung aber auch mehr nicht... Auch der Frühstücksraum ist eher eine Mensa. Zimmer war auch gut. Ausreichend Platz im Doppelzimmer. Bett war ein kingsize Bett mit einer sehr großen Bettdecke. Insgesamt war es sauber und auch die Hygieneartikel lagen im Bad. Hatte mittags zwei Mal im Hotel gegessen. Essen war gut auch die Preise waren ok.

Albergo lontano dal centro del paese di Capelas, raggiungibile a piedi attraverso una panoramica strada sterrata (priva di illuminazione pubblica, e quindi non percorribile dopo il tramonto), oppure rasentando i muretti in pietra lungo una strada carrozzabile dove le vetture sfrecciano veloci… L’albergo offre alcune attività, per chi desidera godere appieno di una vacanza rilassante, come ad esempio una piscina esterna circondata da molti lettini a disposizione degli ospiti, palestra interna dotata di numerosi attrezzi, una piscina interna, ed una sala giochi con tavoli per giocare a carte o a dama, con anche un tavolo da biliardo (a seconda dell’attività scelta in sala giochi, ci potrebbero essere costi da dover regolare in reception / si veda descrizione foto). Sono a disposizione degli ospiti, gratuitamente, degli ampi teli di spugna da utilizzare in piscina. Nelle camere, a disposizione gratuita ci sono bottiglie d’acqua, bollitore e bustine di tisane e zucchero. Ci sono anche cialde di caffè Nespresso, a pagamento extra di 0,75€ cadauna. L’albergo ha un’anima “green”: oltre a proporre agli ospiti un cambio non quotidiano della biancheria da bagno (che, comunque, viene effettuata se richiesto), premia coloro che non necessitino di far rassettare ogni giorno la camera da letto ed il bagno, con un voucher del valore di 3,00 Eur da utilizzare al bar dell’albergo o per le bevande ai pasti in ristorante. Se si preferisce una pulizia quotidiana, bisogna dirlo in reception ogni giorno entro le ore 12.00 (ed in questo caso si “perde” il voucher). In caso contrario, la camera non viene rassettata, e alla sera si può chiedere il voucher il cui valore può essere scalato immediatamente dalla consumazione di bevande al pasto, da regolare con pagamento diretto o con addebito alla camera. Le stanze sono ampie, dotate di balcone, con pavimento in listelli “simil-legno” (no moquette). Letti ampi e con materassi ergonomicamente rigidi al punto giusto. Poche prese a muro per ricaricare, contemporaneamente, telefoni mobili e p.c. od altri dispositivi elettronici. Rete Wifi gratuita a disposizione degli ospiti, ma priva di password di sicurezza. Per chi si sposta in automobile, l’albergo dispone di due piazzali di parcheggio, interni alla struttura ma scoperti (parcheggio non interrato). Colazione e cena a buffet: ampia scelta di piatti, ben curati, e variati tutti i giorni. Servizio attento e non assillante del personale di sala che libera il tavolo dalle stoviglie usate. Personale di reception cortese, che parla anche inglese. E’ un albergo nel quale ci siamo trovati bene e che consigliamo.

Hotel nice and well situated. Locals very helpful and restaurants reasonably priced(meal for three with alcohol and deserts around £60) However at the moment while still here there are unfortunately around 60/70 scouts with another 6/7 or so adults. Because they move as a group this massively impacts on other residents. At breakfast each morning it is hard to get a table between around 7:45 and 8:30, a pain if you have an excursion and need to eat at that time. In addition the outdoor pool is rammed from 4pm onwards. Can use the indoor one but it’s really hot. I rarely complain about anything but in this case after simply mentioning this to a receptionist his response was very poor. I asked how long they are staying for and he would not tell me. Need to know so I can plan my family’s time around this. He also just kept shrugging his shoulders when I said about the impact of soo many people moving as one group. The scouts themselves are fairly well behaved just a shame the hotel hasn’t managed this better. Ie separate room for them at breakfast, set pool time in advance so families can plan around it, etc and also trained their staff in just a tiny bit of empathy

Das Hotel hat keine Halle, es fühlt sich gerade als ein großer Autogeschäft. Aber nach dem Eintritt in das Zimmer und dem Eintritt in das Zimmer fühlte es sich immer noch großartig. Der Besitzer des Hauses hat das Haus sehr geschmackvoll dekoriert und dekoriert. Das Hotel ist im Zentrum der Stadt, es kann auf der Fußgängerstraße und am Meer gehen. Es gibt auch chinesische Restaurants und chinesische Geschäfte in der Nähe. Vielleicht im Herbst, das Gefühl, dass der Preis des Zimmers etwas teuer ist, schätze ich, dass es im Herbst richtig ist! Hier ist der Himmel der Blumenblüten, die Straßen sind voller Blumenblütenblüten.

Abbiamo trascorso 3 notti in questo hotel durante la nostra settimana a Sao Miguel. L'hotel è in posizione centrale e quindi ottimo per raggiungere sia il centro città che la marina. La nostra stanza di tipo standard non era enorme, ma comunque funzionale : AC, Tv, frigobar ed un ampio bagno. Pavimenti in legno e pulizia top . Anche i locali comuni sono puliti e ben arredati. Al roof c'è una zona solarium e una piccola piscina con vista sulla città (teli piscina disponibili alla reception). Wifi presente ovunque. Colazione super: buffet molto vario ed abbondante :salato, dolce, frutta, yogurt ecc Personale disponibile e cortese.

Wir haben das Hotel über *********** für 75 Euro DZ/FR gebucht für zwei Tage vor unserer Kreuzfahrt mit der MS Hamburg und waren begeistert. Von außen sieht es nicht besonders schön aus, aber innen hat es ein gemütliches und schönes Design mit leichtem asiatischem Touch. Der Garten im Innenhof des Hotels ist ebenfalls sehr schön angelegt. Insgesamt war das ein unglaublich gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Wir würden dieses Hotel auch unseren Freuden empfehlen. Lage und Umgebung: Das Hotel liegt 10-15 Minuten Fußweg von der Innenstadt entfernt. Die direkte Umgebung ist nicht besonders erwähnenswert. Zimmer: Die Zimmer waren nicht besonders groß, allerdings schön eingerichtet. Das Badezimmer verfügte über eine Badewanne. Für uns ein Pluspunkt. Service: Kein Grund zu Beschwerde. Alles in Ordnung. Gastronomie: Beim Frühstück gab es mehr Qualität statt Quantität. Auch mit einigen lokalen Produkten der Azoren. Freizeitangebote: Pool, Innenpool, Tennisplatz und Fitnessraum haben wir gesehen, aber nicht genutzt. Der Innenpool könnte aber schöner eingerichtet sein. Der wirkte sehr steril.

Sehr zentral gelegen. Viele Bushaltestellen in ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen sowie Restaurants und Supermarkt ”Pingo” (tolle Auswahl) Das Hotel ist ca. 15 Minuten vom Flughafen entfernt, liegt also in der Einflugschneise. Die ersten Flugzeuge kommen gegen 6.00h. Teilweise Chaos beim Frühstück (Tassen fehlen, langes Warten an den 2 Kaffeeautomaten) Personal ziemlich kurz angebunden.

This apart-hotel complex is absolutely beautiful, flowering bushes everywhere with a lovely scent. Our apartment was large and airy and had a great private terrace on the first floor (2nd floor if you’re North American). It really was a home from home with a full dining area with table and chairs and lounge area with sofa, soft rug and tv. The main double bedroom was upstairs with an anteroom having a sofa/pull out bed for children or guests 3&4. Lots of storage in the bedroom but there was a distinct lack of hangers in the wardrobe but loads of drawer space. The kitchen is adequate enough for simple meals (no oven) with a twin hob and microwave, kettle and toaster, and a selection of pots and pans. We managed really well. The hotel provides breakfast 8am - 10am if you want it at 12euros per person. We didn’t try this option. Housekeeping are amazing and come every day! Everything is clean and beds are made. Towels can be changed daily if you like. For a self-catering holiday we found that a lot was provided in the apartment for us: washing up liquid, washing up sponge, washing up cloth and a tea towel. These are replenished and changed as needed. There is also toilet roll, shower gel and hand wash provided in the bathroom which was lovely - again, replenished when needed or on request. The complex gardens are beautiful and well-tended. The pool looked lovely and well-cared for, however we didn’t try it out. There seems to be a hot tub in a wooden building off the pool area - we took a look but it was grubby and the water had floating debris. I’m sure they would have sorted it out if we had asked, but we were out and about discovering the island every day. You definitely need to hire a car for the duration of your stay here as there isn’t any bus route nearby and taxis would be very expensive to get around the island. HANDY TIP: If you’re picking up your hire car on landing at the airport and driving to Quinta da Santana - to get into the complex there is an electronic gate that requires a remote control. When you first arrive, drive past the big metal gate and find the next smaller (pedestrian) gate. Put the hazard lights on in the car and get out to ring the bell. This alerts reception who will come and open the gate for you or just give you a remote straight away so you can drive into the complex. We had a horrendous time of looking and looking and going around and around the roads trying to find the entrance!! We didn’t know about the need to ring the pedestrian gate bell (face palm!) The reception staff are lovely and very accommodating and speak English very well. I’m not sure what other languages they can speak. The area that Quinta da Santana is situated in is the one fly in the ointment….it seems really run down and the road they are situated on is all full of industrial buildings and commercial businesses. Further exploration within Santana uncovers the grubbier side of agricultural life with its local working class community.

Wir haben 5 Nächte in diesem Hotel verbracht. Gehen wir eins nach dem anderen. Zimmer: Es gab keine Abgasanlage in der Toilette. Der Geruch der Bettwäsche war seit dem ersten Tag schrecklich. Das Design war schön. Reinigungsservice war ein Witz... Wir mussten bis zu dreimal nachfragen, um das Zimmer zu machen... Jeder Tag war ein Drama, wenn man wusste, wann es fertig war. Frühstück: Ein 5 Sterne Hotel hat ein so schlechtes Frühstück nicht verdient. Orangensaft war nicht einmal frisch. Spanischer Schinken war schrecklich (wirklich schlechte Qualität und Bäckerei ... einfach sprachlos) Restaurant: Extrem kurze Auswahl an Gerichten. Auch hier nicht auf dem erwarteten Niveau eines 5-Sterne-Hotels. Ausstattung: Viele Zimmer waren noch nicht fertig und noch nicht fertig gebaut. Umgebung ist echt hässlich.... Zusätzliche Kommentare: Wir haben viele Paare und Familien gesehen, die an der Rezeption gebucht hatten und kein Zimmer verfügbar war ... Das Hotel bot andere Zimmer in anderen Hotels in 17 km Entfernung an! ! Wir gingen zum Pool (Billard) und es gab eine Undichtigkeit an der Decke... Ein neues Hotel mit Undichtigkeit??? Zusammenfassend, das Beste an diesem Hotel war das Personal. . . Die Armen, die versucht haben, alle Brände zu ”löschen”, die vom Hotel- und Hotelmanagement verursacht wurden. Besonders das Personal an der Rezeption: Thx für Ihr Bestes! Ich biete 3/5 Sterne, weil ich glauben möchte, dass sie all diese Probleme in kurzer Zeit beheben werden und bis dahin gut sein wird.
