Sehe gutes Hotel, das für den fünften Stern vielleicht dich etwas mehr Auswahl beim Frühstück und etwas geräumigere Zimmer haben hätte sollen. Meerblick war aber sehr schön, Personal sehr freundluch und hilfsbereit. Insbesondere wenn man die Schwimmögluchkeit direkt vor dem Hotel und die zentrale Lage will, jedoch eine empfehlenswerte Wahl.

Wir hatten ein schönes Balkonzimmer mit Meerblick und tollem Bad in der 7. Etage. Zur Begrüßung stand Wasser da, Obst und Kuchen. etwas weiter war die gemütliche Bar mit toller Aussicht. Beim Checkin konnten wir das Taxi für den nächsten Tag ordern und sogar Frühstück bestellen, wir hatten schon mit eine Lunchtüte gerechnet, aber das war super. Wir gingen zu um 2.20 in der Frühstücksraum, es gab guten Kaffee, Wurst, Käse, Marmelade Blätterteigkuchen, Obstteller, yogurt. Baguettebrot, das war genug für diese Zeit. Wir haben gesehen, dass man sich zu normalen Frühstückszeiten auch Eierspeisen frisch bestellen kann. Also eine klare Empfehlung das Hotel.

Ein sehr nettes ansprechendes Hotel in sehr gute Lage! In weniger als 2 Minuten zu Fuß- erreicht man den ”Hauptplatz”- der in Ponta Delgada ja quasi unmittelbar an den Hafen grenzt. Nachdem wir 14 Tage da verbracht haben- haben wir auch miterlebt- wie sich die Stadt- in einen sehr lichterreichen vorweihnachtlichen Umhang gehüllt hat! Es ist schon sehr lange her, seit ich dieses wunderschöne Gefühl der Vorweihnachtszeit so hautnah spüren konnte. Aber- das können sie wirklich- die Portugiesen! :-) Natürlich war dieser Hauch von ”Weihnacht” auch im Hotel zu spüren! Was wirklich nett ist und wir daher des Öfteren in Anspruch genommen haben.. - den Spa-Bereich! An der Rezeption abklären, wann man gehen könnte- und man bekommt den gesamten Spa-Bereich- in dieser Zeit ganz allein!! Wir waren jeweils ca 1 1/2 Sunden... mit finnischer Sauna, Dampfbad, Whirlpool- und einem kleinen Trainingsraum mit einigen Fitnessgeräten! Wirklich TOP!

We had a great stay at Passal. It was the perfect place to begin our Azores adventure. Our room was clean and modern and was the ideal space to get settled on Sao Miguel! The experience at Passal is truly shaped by Paulo, who goes above and beyond for his guests. Paulo is a wealth of knowledge, and he checked in with us every day to help us plan and maximize our time on island. When our luggage was lost for 48 hours by the airline, he went out of his way, even driving to the airport to help rectify the situation. We only wish we had connected with him prior to the trip to get a head start! With so many plans and ideas for Sao Miguel and the other islands, we’ll be back. And we’ll definitely be staying with Paulo at Passal Hostel. Highly recommend!

I was very pleased by this hotel! As the town itself is small, I found that I could easily walk to the main drag, a shopping mall, and even a pineapple farm easily from here. The staff were all very professional and friendly, and they cleaned my room every day. The price was great, the breakfast was decent, and the bathroom was nice, clean and spacious. The air conditioning worked very well (I was here in the summer). And did I mention how friendly and clean everything was!? I hope I can stay here again!

When I booked originally 8 months before departure, this hotel wasn’t even on Expedia. According to my tour driver it had been a hostel until Covid. There are 3 floors with 3 rooms. The staff is very helpful and friendly. You could leave your luggage in the office until your room was ready. There was a cafe that opens from breakfast till dinner. The room was plenty spacious with a full kitchenette and marble bathroom. It’s located within a five minute walk of the main plaza and about 10 minutes from the main marina. Small grocery stores and plenty of restaurants and coffee shops are nearby. It is definitely a hidden treasure in ponta del gada.

Der Besitzer des Hauses hat das Haus sehr geschmackvoll dekoriert und dekoriert. Das Hotel ist im Zentrum der Stadt, es kann auf der Fußgängerstraße und am Meer gehen. Es gibt auch chinesische Restaurants und chinesische Geschäfte in der Nähe. Vielleicht im Herbst, das Gefühl, dass der Preis des Zimmers etwas teuer ist, schätze ich, dass es im Herbst richtig ist! Hier ist der Himmel der Blumenblüten, die Straßen sind voller Blumenblütenblüten.

as others have said - wow the staff is SO friendly and endlessly sweet and helpful. but also wow, the building is in such sad shape. there are dozens of other significantly nicer, newer, cleaner places like Canadiano Urban Nature Hotel next door for just a little more per night. hotel alcides, closer to the main plaza, was $50 usd cheaper per night when i went in mid-september and was so much more appealing in a boutique hotel sort of way (but it was booked when i got back from another island). if secure parking is your main concern, then this is a good place for you as it's a gated lot behind the building, but otherwise, i would not recommend this place to anyone, which is sad to post since the staff are all so lovely. the room/cleanliness are acceptable at best, but not for the price charged. as a solo female traveler, if this hotel had been in a more major city in mainland europe, i'd have been very freaked out by the dark creepy hallways etc (but ponta delgada is so chill and safe, it was fine)

Wir haben uns auf einer kürzlich gefahrenen Reise nach den Azoren in diesem Hotel verblieben. Es war in einer tollen Lage in der Stadt Ponta Delgada. Das Personal war so freundlich und freundlich. Sie haben jeden Morgen ein tolles Frühstück. Ich genossen meinen Aufenthalt hier und dachte, der Ort sei gut bezahlt, um alles, was wir für unseren Aufenthalt auf der Insel brauchen. Hoch empfehlen sie für einen tollen Ort, um für eine Woche oder zwei zu Hause zu rufen.
