I booked an overnight reservation for my husband's birthday celebration. The entire experience was unique and simply outstanding in every way! We were made to feel VERY SPECIAL by each and every staff member with whom we engaged. We were CONTINUALLY welcomed throughout the stay from the person who opened the car door and greeted us by name to the very knowledgeable concierges, the room service staff, the culinary staff, the bellman, the driver, Lottie Dottie and EVERYBODY! The hotel was very clean and beautifully adorned with pictures, books, furniture, plants and artifacts that told the story of the hotel. This includes the very accommodating bedroom with a comfortable canopy bed and a pristine, spacious and updated bathroom. One could ALWAYS count on soul-stirring music playing in the background of every public space. Each tune moved us to murmur the lyrics regardless of where we were and what we were doing. Ever had a snack attack? No worries! The room was well stocked with a variety of goodies and beverages to soothe those evening urges. And, finally, let me praise the food selections offered to us at teatime and breakfast. Homemade jam, almond butter, muffins, oat flapjacks, chicken sausage, eggs, and more! This was quite an awesome getaway! And, yes, we would do it all over again!

Lage ist in einem weniger skizzierten Teil der Stadt, obwohl ich nicht unbedingt für einen Nachtwandel in der Gegend gehen würde. Bequem gelegen zu einigen umliegenden Attraktionen wie der Innenhafen und Lexington Market. Das Zimmer war ohne Spott sauber. Die Wartung konnte verbessert werden, da es einige gebrochene Kleidertüren und Loch in der Wand gab. Ich informierte das freundliche Personal und sie sagten mir, dass sie sich bewusst waren. Andererseits war es gut ausgestattet und alles war da und funktionierte. Die Reinigung ist nicht täglich und hängt von der Dauer Ihres Aufenthalts ab. Wenn Sie jedoch etwas brauchen, was Sie fragen können und es könnte bereitgestellt werden. Das Frühstücksbuffet war ok, nichts besonderes. Es gab eine begrenzte, aber genug Optionen. Für frische Früchte hatten sie nur rote Äpfel jeden Tag. Die Bar war während meiner Aufenthaltszeit zum Mittagessen geschlossen. Sie hatten ein kleines Geschäftsfeld mit einem Computer und einem Drucker für Gäste. Der Fitnessraum war gut ausgestattet. Das Personal war freundlich, willkommen und Sie können jedem sagen, dass es versucht hat, die Gäste eine schöne Erfahrung zu machen. Ich würde es überlegen und zurückkehren.

True to the reputation of the New York-based design firm, Ash, the Ulysses is nothing short of an architectural marvel. The first thing that catches your eye? The hotel's impeccable aesthetic. It's a masterful blend of old-world charm and modern design, encapsulating the very essence of Baltimore's diverse character. While the rooms might have been a tad on the cozier side, they more than made up for it with their plush comfort and attention to detail. The Ulysses truly exemplifies the notion that beauty lies in the details, and the meticulousness with which they've curated every aspect of the guest experience speaks volumes. The 19th-century charm of the Mount Vernon neighborhood is beautifully echoed within the Ulysses. The delicate stained-glass skylight, the ornate crown molding, and the preserved brass postal box serve as a testament to the building's rich history. But it's not all vintage here. The interiors seamlessly transition from the ornate influences of the Art Nouveau era to a more streamlined approach, evident in the hickory wood furniture adorned with Ash’s custom textiles. And oh, those hand-beaded lampshades and embroidered quilts! They added the perfect splash of color and quirk. A special shout-out to the carved flamingos that support the bedside tables, a delightful nod to Baltimore's own John Waters and his ”Pink Flamingos.” It's this mix of opulence and eccentricity that makes the Ulysses stand out. Booking through Trip.com was a new experience for us. A bit unconventional, sure, but it came through in the clutch. The $35 ”destination fee” threw us for a loop initially, but the $20 credit we received towards our bill at the hotel restaurant (Ash Bar) or the bar (Blooms) made it all worth it. Speaking of Blooms, what an experience! The mirrored ceiling, the crimson banquettes, and the purple stools set the stage for a night to remember. In a nutshell? The Hotel Ulysses is a triumph, an ode to Baltimore's multifaceted spirit. Whether you're here for the history, the design, or the sheer experience, the Ulysses promises and delivers. It was our first time visiting Baltimore as a family, and thanks to this hotel, we left with only great memories. The hotel was clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable. Right outside the hotel, we could ride bikes along the river and take morning walks—it was the perfect spot to start the day. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Baltimore!

When looking for a place to stay, too priority for me was room service, which this hotel advertised on their website that they offered. They did not. The front desk person the proceeded to insult my intelligence by suggesting that ”room service” means they'll come to your room and change your towels. Attached are the website photos, showing ”room service” under the Dining menu, and ”housekeeping” listed under amenities. The room was nice, the bed comfy, and the free breakfast was great, but the neighborhood has no walkable stores, and one very pricey restaurant 2 blocks away.

Das Zimmer ist sehr groß, das Frühstück ist auch sehr groß, die 24-Stunden-Rezeption hat heißes Wasser und Kaffee, zu freundlich. Der einzige Mangel ist, obwohl das Fenster groß ist, kann nicht geöffnet werden, die Stimme der Klimaanlage ist relativ scharf

Die Hardwareumgebung ist insgesamt gut, aber nachdem ich die Zimmergebühr online bezahlt habe, wird der Offline-Abzug wiederholt, und ich habe mindestens 10 Tage gebraucht, um zu kommunizieren und zu koordinieren. Die Beziehung ist zu kompliziert, einschließlich Ctrip, ausländische Agenten, Hotels. Es wurde bisher nicht gelöst, es ist ein Kopfschmerz!

Das Hotel liegt direkt über dem Weg vom Konventszentrum. Es war sauber, sicher, freundlich und hatte alle Ausstattung, die ich suche. Ich musste sehr letzte Minute nach einer Stornierung an einem anderen Ort buchen und war erfreut, um ein sauberes, schönes klimatisiertes Zimmer mit allem, was ich brauchte. Ich werde sicherlich wieder hier bleiben, wenn ich nach Baltimore reise
