Ah, Baltimore, a city of rich history and eclectic charm. My wife and I recently had the pleasure of a stay at the Hotel Ulysses, a luxurious retreat nestled in the heart of this vibrant city. True to the reputation of the New York-based design firm, Ash, the Ulysses is nothing short of an architectural marvel. The first thing that catches your eye? The hotel's impeccable aesthetic. It's a masterful blend of old-world charm and modern design, encapsulating the very essence of Baltimore's diverse character. While the rooms might have been a tad on the cozier side, they more than made up for it with their plush comfort and attention to detail. The Ulysses truly exemplifies the notion that beauty lies in the details, and the meticulousness with which they've curated every aspect of the guest experience speaks volumes. The 19th-century charm of the Mount Vernon neighborhood is beautifully echoed within the Ulysses. The delicate stained-glass skylight, the ornate crown molding, and the preserved brass postal box serve as a testament to the building's rich history. But it's not all vintage here. The interiors seamlessly transition from the ornate influences of the Art Nouveau era to a more streamlined approach, evident in the hickory wood furniture adorned with Ash’s custom textiles. And oh, those hand-beaded lampshades and embroidered quilts! They added the perfect splash of color and quirk. A special shout-out to the carved flamingos that support the bedside tables, a delightful nod to Baltimore's own John Waters and his ”Pink Flamingos.” It's this mix of opulence and eccentricity that makes the Ulysses stand out. Booking through Trip.com was a new experience for us. A bit unconventional, sure, but it came through in the clutch. The $35 ”destination fee” threw us for a loop initially, but the $20 credit we received towards our bill at the hotel restaurant (Ash Bar) or the bar (Blooms) made it all worth it. Speaking of Blooms, what an experience! The mirrored ceiling, the crimson banquettes, and the purple stools set the stage for a night to remember. In a nutshell? The Hotel Ulysses is a triumph, an ode to Baltimore's multifaceted spirit. Whether you're here for the history, the design, or the sheer experience, the Ulysses promises and delivers. Die gute Nachricht ist, das Dachrestaurant ist sehr schön mit schönen Blicken, eine lebhafte Bar und fantastische Cocktails plus gutes Essen. Das Hotelzimmer, das wir hatten, war ein bisschen runtergeschwindet. Der Tub wurde nicht richtig abgewässert, der Make-up-Spiegel wurde geschmuggelt, der Kleiderschrank hatte ein Loch, und das Zimmer schien gerade müde. Es brauchte einen Stuhl. Außer dem Bett gab es keinen Platz zu sitzen. Ich denke, das Hotel braucht einen Friseur.

It was our first time visiting Baltimore as a family, and thanks to this hotel, we left with only great memories. The hotel was clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable. Right outside the hotel, we could ride bikes along the river and take morning walks—it was the perfect spot to start the day. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Baltimore!

When looking for a place to stay, too priority for me was room service, which this hotel advertised on their website that they offered. They did not. The front desk person the proceeded to insult my intelligence by suggesting that ”room service” means they'll come to your room and change your towels. Attached are the website photos, showing ”room service” under the Dining menu, and ”housekeeping” listed under amenities. The room was nice, the bed comfy, and the free breakfast was great, but the neighborhood has no walkable stores, and one very pricey restaurant 2 blocks away.

The room was very nice. When I checked in I asked about parking. They said I could go around the corner and park, it is connected to the hotel, and it would cost $29 for the night. When I left the hotel and tried to get out of the parking lot, the cost is $69! I drove around to ask about this problem, the girl at the front desk had no idea. She took my email address and said the manager would contact me when he arrived. It has been 24 hours and I have not heard from the manager. Obviously I’m not very important to this hotel so I will never stay there again. They lied to me when I checked in and then never responded to my complaint. I would have booked a different hotel if I knew I was going to be charged $69 parking for one night! Stay somewhere else.

Die Hardwareumgebung ist insgesamt gut, aber nachdem ich die Zimmergebühr online bezahlt habe, wird der Offline-Abzug wiederholt, und ich habe mindestens 10 Tage gebraucht, um zu kommunizieren und zu koordinieren. Die Beziehung ist zu kompliziert, einschließlich Ctrip, ausländische Agenten, Hotels. Es wurde bisher nicht gelöst, es ist ein Kopfschmerz!

Die Klimaanlage im Zimmer war schrecklich, kaum funktioniert überhaupt. Essen im Hotelrestaurant war nicht groß, vor allem für den Preis. Nur wirklich gutes Thema über diesen Ort ist die Lage, in der Nähe von Camden Yards und M&T Bank Stadium.

Ich suchte ein Hotel in der Nähe der Komödie Show und niedrig und sieh es war im gleichen Hotel. So war es großartig für uns nach der Eincheckung zum Abendessen kam es für 45 Minuten zurück entspannt. Dann ging es nach unten Treppen zu der Komödie Fabrik. Wir hatten kostenlose Frühstückskupongs, aber wir beschlossen, auf unserem Weg nach Richmond zu entdecken. Insgesamt schöne Ort, um zu bleiben gefunden, sie auch Shuttle für Kreuzfahrten aus diesem Hotel.
