The wooden cabin has so much character. From the moment you step inside, you’re surrounded by warm timber, traditional details and large windows that frame the forest like a living painting. Sitting by the window with a cup of coffee, looking out at layers upon layers of green, is honestly one of the highlights of the stay. I especially loved the little details — the bamboo blinds, wooden bathtub, rustic furnishings and the small balcony overlooking the jungle. It feels beautifully simple and authentic rather than overly polished or commercial. But the real attraction is the location. You wake up surrounded by greenery, with the forest practically at your doorstep. It feels secluded and almost like being in your own little world. If you’re looking for a place to disconnect, breathe, slow down and experience the quieter side of Thailand, Mii Paa Aii is absolutely worth staying at. Come for the cabin, stay for the view, and leave wishing you had booked a few more nights.

A little corner of Japan nestled in the dense, green vegetation of northern Thailand. It was our first time staying in a traditional Japanese establishment, and I must say I was very pleased. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ As a solo traveller staying for one night, I was genuinely impressed with Portare Home in Mae Kampong. It strikes a perfect balance between feeling homely and offering all the amenities you’d expect from a high-quality stay, all set within a beautiful jungle environment. Arriving by car was straightforward, and one of the first things that stood out was the charming luggage pulley system that carries your bags up to the main house. It’s a small touch, but really memorable and adds to the character of the place. I was greeted by several friendly staff members, and check-in was quick and easy. The design and architecture of the property are what initially drew me in, and it absolutely lived up to expectations. I was shown to my room straight away and couldn’t have been happier. The bed was very comfortable, and the standout feature is the private balcony, which looks directly out into the surrounding jungle. It’s the kind of place you can sit for hours, just listening to nature. The room itself is thoughtfully equipped, with bathrobes, towels, a hairdryer, and a full set of bathroom amenities. There’s also a fridge stocked with cold bottled water. The bathroom was spacious, with a large shower and a beautiful freestanding bath positioned to take in the jungle views. The atmosphere really comes into its own in the evening, when the property is softly lit, creating a calm and relaxing setting. Waking up early to watch the sunrise from the balcony was a highlight. The light filtering through the trees and the sounds of the forest make it feel very special. In the morning, I was served a traditional Thai breakfast, with the option of fresh drip coffee and orange juice, which was a great start to the day. The location is also ideal, around a 10 to 15 minute walk from the main Mae Kampong village, so you’re close enough to explore while still enjoying peace and quiet. Overall, this was a really relaxing and restorative stay. I’m very glad I chose Portare Home and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Mae Kampong.

Toll gestaltetes Haus. Ich mag diese Waldhütte am Bach sehr, und der Blick auf die Berge ist ein Pluspunkt. Es vermittelt ein Gefühl von Abgeschiedenheit und Ruhe. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Gute Unterkunft, komfortable, saubere, gute Matrix, separates Badezimmer, Toilette, Dusche, Frühstück ist ok. Esshaus neben dem Fluss, sehr gute Atmosphäre. Im Zimmer gibt es einen großen Spiegel für Frauen, um sich zu machen, kleid komfortabel. Aber ich will Schuhe im Haus zu haben, um zu fertig, weil es spät ist Kühl Wetter, Spaziergang und kühle Füße. Ein weiteres Favorit ist, dass es zehn kostenlose Trinkwasser und kalte weiche Getränke gibt. Es gibt eine Mama Cup für Hunger, um kostenlos zu essen auch. Die Unterkunft ist sehr aufmerksam. Das Personal ist auch wunderschön und kümmert sich gut. Ein wenig Kritik an der Lage Unterkunft neben der Straße über ist ein Fluss. Aber es gibt keinen gemeinsamen Sitz Wenn es einen sehr guten Ort gibt - OK.

Ein schönes kleines Haus in der Nähe des Dorfes Mae Campong. Ich blieb hier 2 Nächte und es war ein angenehmes Aufenthalt. Das Zimmer war mit einem Mansard, auf jeder Etage ein Doppelbett. Das Badezimmer mit Dusche ist im Zimmer. Alles sauber, die Mädchen-Sister, die dieses Haus besitzen, sind sehr schön. Ich schlief perfekt - unter den Klangen des laufenden Wassers (das Haus steht am Ufer eines Bergstroms) in der frischen Luft. Ich war froh, dass trotz der großen Feuchtigkeit hier keine Moskitos waren, und in der Nacht kann man mit offenen Streifen schlafen. Das ist eine unvermittelte Freude! Frühstück ist normal - Toasts, Chips, Kaffee, Obst. Es gab auch eine heiße Gerichte - Reissuppe. Das einzige kleine minus ist das Bettwäsche auf der zweiten Etage, das Tabak geräuchert hat. Da ich nicht rauchte, war es unbehaglich und ich schlief nicht dort.

Das Hotel liegt etwas weit in den Hügeln, aber die Aussicht vom Zimmer ist bemerkenswert und lohnenswert. Wir kamen um 21:00 Uhr dort an und ihre Küche war fast geschlossen, aber sie erlaubten uns freundlicherweise, zu bestellen und zu Abend zu essen. Die Gerichte waren so lecker!!! Als wir hineinkamen, war eine riesige Spinne in unserem Zimmer. Ich bat das Personal über WhatsApp um Hilfe. Er half uns, sie schnell zu vertreiben. Das ist so gut! Das Zimmer war recht sauber, aber die Details waren nicht gut genug. Der Whirlpool hat so viel Spaß gemacht 😆 Die atemberaubende Aussicht mit dem Blublublu-Sound zu genießen, war extrem entspannend~~~ Sie gaben mir eine Packung Popcorn als Dankeschön mit vielen Zeilen auf der Verpackung. Das war so herzlich und ich kann ihre aufrichtige Absicht spüren. Danke!

Nette, rustikale kleine Heimunterkunft im Herzen der Walkstraße. Zimmer war direkt entlang einer schönen kleinen Kräfte mit einem geräumigen Balkon und gut eingerichtet. Die wichtigsten Dinge, die verbessert werden könnten, sind, dass man in der Dusche eine Schleife für Toiletten (es gab keine und der Toilettenschlauch-Tank war der einzige Ort, um Dinge zu setzen), und mehr Tischraum im Zimmer selbst, um Dinge zu setzen. (Es gab viele im Balkon, aber sehr wenig im Zimmer selbst). Parkplatz ist auch begrenzt, da sie den Raum mit einem anderen Haushalten teilen und Sie nur auf der Hälfte parken können.

The access to the villa was covered by soil and mud. Its slippery. The room's entrance door is using glass door which can see the entire room which I dont feel comfortable. Theres no curtain or shades to cover it. Theres also a cockroach in the room.
