"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff went above and beyond to make our visit comfortable, memorable, and enjoyable. The facilities are modern, well-maintained, and clearly cared for, which added greatly to the overall experience.
While the property is a bit more expensive than some alternatives, we found it to be well worth the cost. The quality of service, accommodations, and unique experiences provided excellent value.
We are sorry that we couldn't get an elephant morning wake up call. I feel sad for the few people that complain and make life difficult for others and also for the elephants. I think the elephant enjoyed waking up humans. We were delighted to see a pair of Northern Thailand reindeer, which was an unexpected treat.
We are already looking forward to returning and were genuinely sad to leave. Overall, this was an outstanding experience, and we would not hesitate to recommend it to others seeking a unique and memorable stay.

GGastnutzerAn amazing place up in the mountain, peaceful and tranquil, great for an escape. It's located lower down than the main village street and only takes a few minutes if walking. However, the owner was incredible, spoke fluent English and on my arrival took me to all the noteworthy places by vehicle which are within 1km. He always offered to take me somewhere if I was going out.
The room was very spacious, clean and decorated fitting in with the Japanese theme, the view was good and there's also a balcony accessed from the outside. Bath was good to soak after exploring during the day. The service and food are great, hotpot was delicious, breakfast and coffee perfect. Well worth a visit, highly recommend!!! 💯🔥

As a solo traveller staying for one night, I was genuinely impressed with Portare Home in Mae Kampong. It strikes a perfect balance between feeling homely and offering all the amenities you’d expect from a high-quality stay, all set within a beautiful jungle environment.
Arriving by car was straightforward, and one of the first things that stood out was the charming luggage pulley system that carries your bags up to the main house. It’s a small touch, but really memorable and adds to the character of the place. I was greeted by several friendly staff members, and check-in was quick and easy.
The design and architecture of the property are what initially drew me in, and it absolutely lived up to expectations. I was shown to my room straight away and couldn’t have been happier. The bed was very comfortable, and the standout feature is the private balcony, which looks directly out into the surrounding jungle. It’s the kind of place you can sit for hours, just listening to nature.
The room itself is thoughtfully equipped, with bathrobes, towels, a hairdryer, and a full set of bathroom amenities. There’s also a fridge stocked with cold bottled water. The bathroom was spacious, with a large shower and a beautiful freestanding bath positioned to take in the jungle views.
The atmosphere really comes into its own in the evening, when the property is softly lit, creating a calm and relaxing setting. Waking up early to watch the sunrise from the balcony was a highlight. The light filtering through the trees and the sounds of the forest make it feel very special.
In the morning, I was served a traditional Thai breakfast, with the option of fresh drip coffee and orange juice, which was a great start to the day.
The location is also ideal, around a 10 to 15 minute walk from the main Mae Kampong village, so you’re close enough to explore while still enjoying peace and quiet.
Overall, this was a really relaxing and restorative stay. I’m very glad I chose Portare Home and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Mae Kampong.

GGastnutzerGute Unterkunft, komfortable, saubere, gute Matrix, separates Badezimmer, Toilette, Dusche, Frühstück ist ok. Esshaus neben dem Fluss, sehr gute Atmosphäre. Im Zimmer gibt es einen großen Spiegel für Frauen, um sich zu machen, kleid komfortabel. Aber ich will Schuhe im Haus zu haben, um zu fertig, weil es spät ist Kühl Wetter, Spaziergang und kühle Füße. Ein weiteres Favorit ist, dass es zehn kostenlose Trinkwasser und kalte weiche Getränke gibt. Es gibt eine Mama Cup für Hunger, um kostenlos zu essen auch. Die Unterkunft ist sehr aufmerksam. Das Personal ist auch wunderschön und kümmert sich gut. Ein wenig Kritik an der Lage Unterkunft neben der Straße über ist ein Fluss. Aber es gibt keinen gemeinsamen Sitz Wenn es einen sehr guten Ort gibt - OK.

GGastnutzerDas Hotel liegt etwas weit in den Hügeln, aber die Aussicht vom Zimmer ist bemerkenswert und lohnenswert. Wir kamen um 21:00 Uhr dort an und ihre Küche war fast geschlossen, aber sie erlaubten uns freundlicherweise, zu bestellen und zu Abend zu essen. Die Gerichte waren so lecker!!! Als wir hineinkamen, war eine riesige Spinne in unserem Zimmer. Ich bat das Personal über WhatsApp um Hilfe. Er half uns, sie schnell zu vertreiben. Das ist so gut! Das Zimmer war recht sauber, aber die Details waren nicht gut genug. Der Whirlpool hat so viel Spaß gemacht 😆 Die atemberaubende Aussicht mit dem Blublublu-Sound zu genießen, war extrem entspannend~~~ Sie gaben mir eine Packung Popcorn als Dankeschön mit vielen Zeilen auf der Verpackung. Das war so herzlich und ich kann ihre aufrichtige Absicht spüren. Danke!

Das Resort war gepflegt, geräumig, gemütlich und sauber! Die gelungene Mischung aus Natur und modernen Annehmlichkeiten sorgt für einen komfortablen Aufenthalt! Das Wohnmobil sieht genauso aus wie auf den Fotos.
Der Service war hervorragend. Die Mitarbeiter des Resorts waren durchweg freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Ein besonderes Lob gilt unserer Rezeptionistin Bonus, die uns vor und während unseres Aufenthalts tatkräftig unterstützt hat und dafür sorgte, dass wir alles hatten, was wir brauchten! Wir haben ihre Aufmerksamkeit und die schnellen Antworten auf unsere Anfragen sehr geschätzt, ebenso wie ihre Hilfe bei der Organisation unseres Autotransfers vom/zum Flughafen, der Organisation unserer Geburtstagsfeier und der Dekoration sowie ihre Tipps für tolle Aktivitäten in der Umgebung!
Drittens waren wir auch vom Essen und der Gastronomie des Resorts begeistert und waren sehr beeindruckt von der hohen Qualität, dem köstlichen Geschmack und der schönen Dekoration unserer Gerichte. Es war wirklich toll und einzigartig, Hotpot und Mookata direkt vor unserem Wohnmobil inmitten der Natur genießen zu können.
Wir können dieses Resort wärmstens empfehlen! Es wird seinen Erwartungen und Bewertungen gerecht.

”We recently enjoyed a wonderful stay at Nelamit. The room with its stunning view was a highlight, and the warm temperature provided by the heater was much appreciated. The receptionist was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay.
While we thoroughly enjoyed our time, we did notice some minor areas for improvement. The dome could benefit from a deeper clean to address some minor fungal growth. Additionally, we believe the room rate should include complimentary soap for the bathtub, which would enhance the overall guest experience.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the owner for maintaining such a lovely property and for the dedication of their staff, particularly during both peak and off-season periods. We hope these suggestions will be considered for future guests.”
