My recent stay at Makarem Burj Al Madinah was truly remarkable, and it is a hotel I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the holy city. From the moment I arrived, the experience exceeded expectations in every possible way. One of the hotel’s greatest advantages is its excellent location, just a short and convenient walk from the blessed Masjid Al Nabawi. This proximity makes it incredibly easy to attend prayers, especially Fajr and late-night prayers, without the stress of transportation or long walking distances. The staff at Makarem Burj Al Madinah deserve special recognition. Every team member I encountered was welcoming, respectful, and genuinely eager to help. The front desk staff handled check-in smoothly and professionally, always ready to assist with questions or requests. Equally impressive was the cleaning team, who maintained the rooms and public areas to an exceptionally high standard. Their attention to detail was evident daily, and their polite and friendly manner made the stay even more comfortable. As the hotel is only around six months old, everything feels fresh, modern, and thoughtfully designed. The rooms, corridors, and common areas are spotless, well maintained, and beautifully finished. There is a noticeable sense of cleanliness throughout the property, complemented by a pleasant and refreshing fragrance that greets you as soon as you enter. This consistent cleanliness and inviting atmosphere contribute greatly to a sense of peace and relaxation after long hours spent at the Haram. Another excellent feature of the hotel is the 24-hour gym, which is thoughtfully segregated for men and women. This allows guests to exercise comfortably and privately at any time of day or night. The gym is modern, clean, and well equipped, making it easy to maintain a fitness routine even while traveling. Having round-the-clock access is especially convenient for guests with busy schedules centered around prayer times. Breakfast at Makarem Burj Al Madinah was another highlight of the stay. The breakfast spread is generous, varied, and well organized, offering a wide selection of dishes to suit different tastes. From fresh and hot options to lighter choices, everything was prepared to a high standard. The dining area is clean and pleasant, and the breakfast staff are attentive, friendly, and efficient, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable start to the day. Overall, Makarem Burj Al Madinah delivers an outstanding hospitality experience. Its close proximity to Masjid Al Nabawi, combined with its new and pristine condition, friendly staff, excellent housekeeping, well-designed gym facilities, and high-quality breakfast, make it an ideal choice for visitors to Madinah. I would gladly stay here again so long as prices remain reasonable God willing and confidently recommend it to anyone seeking comfort, convenience, and quality during their visit to this sacred city.

Die Lage ist perfekt. Kurz zu Fuß zur Moschee und einfach zu organisieren zu Fuß zu allen Geschäften. Die Mitarbeiter sind außergewöhnlich, immer auf der Suche nach einer Verbesserung Ihrer Erfahrung. Das Frühstück war gut mit einer guten Auswahl, aber es fehlte an verschiedenen Tagen. Personal hier sind sehr gut und sind immer bereit, zu helfen. Nebenan wären die Kaffeemaschinen, die nie scheinen richtig zu arbeiten. Wir hatten ein paar Wartungsfragen, aber das Personal wurde schnell geschickt und die meisten wurden rechtzeitig korrigiert. Ein Tipp würde Ihren Zimmer bitten, die Mall zu sehen, die andere Seite hatte eine Menge Verkehrslärm, die konstant war.

Der Aufenthalt im Jayden Hotel war ein tolles Erlebnis. Ich hatte ein Angebot für Zwillingsdates inklusive Frühstück bekommen. Wir durften früher einchecken. Als wir die Lobby betraten, fühlte es sich schon anders an – Fünf-Sterne-Hotelatmosphäre, aber trotzdem gemütlich. Uns wurde ein Begrüßungsgetränk angeboten. Da wir am Donnerstag fasteten, sagte die Rezeptionistin: „Sie ersetzen das Begrüßungsgetränk durch einen kostenlosen Snack, wenn wir das Fasten brechen.“ Und tatsächlich, als wir am Abend von der Moschee zurückkamen, standen einige Fruchtsnacks auf dem Zimmer. Der letzte Tag unseres Aufenthalts war unser Hochzeitstag. Ich fragte die Rezeptionistin (die an diesem Tag nicht da war), ob ich mir ein Geschenk vom Hotel wünschen könnte, da mein Mann und ich Hochzeitstag hatten. Am Abend wurde uns eine kleine Überraschung aufs Zimmer gebracht: viele Fruchtsnacks und ein leckerer kleiner Käsekuchen. Was für ein perfekter Service das Hotelpersonal uns während unseres Aufenthalts geboten hat. Der Weg nach Plataran war nicht allzu weit, aber es war etwas anstrengend, weil der Fraueneingang einen längeren Fußweg erforderte. Ich bat um ein Zimmer mit Blick auf die Prophetenmoschee, und wieder war die Rezeptionistin die erste, die mir diesen Wunsch erfüllte. Obwohl man nur einen Teil der Moschee in der Nähe des Baqi-Grabes sehen konnte, war es wirklich herrlich. Auch das Personal im Zwischengeschoss, wo das Frühstück serviert wurde, war sehr freundlich. Der auf Eierkochen spezialisierte Koch zauberte meisterhaft Spiegeleier. Das Eigelb war perfekt. Auch das Frühstück war köstlich und abwechslungsreich. Der Joghurt hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Es gab verschiedene Sorten, unser Favorit war der Mango- und der Erdbeerjoghurt. Vor dem Hotel befinden sich im Erdgeschoss weitere Hotels mit einem Einkaufszentrum, in dem man Snacks, Eis und Souvenirs kaufen kann. Es gibt sogar einen Wäscheservice. Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt im Jayden Hotel. Es liegt südwestlich der Prophetenmoschee. Zimmer 1013 mit Blick auf den Innenhof der Moschee werde ich nie vergessen. Wenn wir wieder nach Medina kommen, werden wir sicherlich wieder im Jayden Hotel buchen und nach Zimmer 1013 fragen.

Der Intercontinental Dar Al Iman Madinah ist eine ausgezeichnete Wahl für jemanden, der mit der Verehrung nach Madinah reist, der schätzt, so nah wie möglich zu Masjid al-Nabawi sein zu wollen, der vollen Service wünscht, und ist bereit, einen Preis für Komfort und Komfort zu zahlen. Die Zimmer sind komfortabel und gut ausgestattet, das Personal ist stark und die Lage ist schwer zu schlagen. Wenn Ihr Aufenthalt jedoch mehr über den versehentlichen Tourismus ist oder Sie Budget-sensible und bereit sind, etwas weiter vom Haram zu sein, könnten Sie an anderer Stelle einen besseren Wert finden. Aber wenn die Nähe und die geistige Atmosphäre für Sie wichtig sind dieses Hotel sicherlich liefert.

We had originally booked another hotel but upon arrival there we immediately canceled our reservation and were looking for another hotel in the area ASAP, something clean, close to Masjid Nabawi and fairly priced.  We knew the name and brand; however, we saw two Intercontinental hotels and went with the one we felt had a slight edge or advantage. The hotel was built many years ago and we were informed that it is in the planning process of a renovation so we knew ahead of time what to expect. It has signature blue carpet and a 1950’s/1960’s vibe that I personally adored (almost out of a James Bond movie with Sean Connery).   Everyday we stayed at the hotel, it grew on us.  The view outside was heavenly mashAla.  Remember you can open the window haha some people I imagine think they can’t.  It such an experience and you have to do it.  Most importantly, however, the sweatheart staff and how accommodating they were, you forget you’re staying at the Intercontinental and imagine you’re at your friends house.  Again, We had an amazing window view and could see in the direction of Uhud.  All The cafe’s are right outside of the hotel, the mosque is literally right outside the hotel and down the walking path, maybe a 5 minute walk.  Plenty of pigeons to feed, affordable Ubers/ Taxi right outside, you can walk to Uhud you can walk to Quba, you can do it all.  And the best part, the check-in/help desk are right in front of you when you walk in to the lobby.   Side note: if you enjoy peoppe watching , you get a great view from your hotel room to the outside.  They have a coffee bar in the Lobby with free dates and Arabic coffee (world class) and this hotel served the best Breakfast and room service food I’ve ever had and I’ve been to 51 countries, aged 44.  It was even at par or better maybe than the Jabal Omar in Mecca we stayed at.  You absolutely cannot lose out by staying at this hotel.  If you have any issues pick up your room phone and dial any one of the prompts and someone will alleviate any issues you have.   The hotel executive management were world class and again treated me like a friend/family.  Based off our repertoire I’d come back to this hotel because Sister Khadijah and staff were so amazing mashAla.

Der schlimmste Check-in-Prozess, unhöfliches und wenig hilfsbereites Personal. Die Zimmer waren nicht rechtzeitig fertig. Das Parken ist nicht kostenlos. Die Buchung war für ein Kingsize-Bett, aber für jedes Zimmer gab es 3 Einzelbetten. Die Rezeption ist groß, aber es gibt dort 2 oder 3 Leute, die extrem langsam sind, und viele Leute stehen Schlange, um einzuchecken. Dieses Hotel ist überhaupt nicht zu empfehlen. Das einzig Gute ist die Lage, das ist alles.

Ehrlich gesagt, dieses Hotel ist ein großer Preis. Es ist viel günstiger als andere nahe gelegene Hotels, aber Sie erhalten immer noch ein wirklich komfortables Zimmer. Das Bett war gemütlich, alles fühlte sich sauber, und es hatte eine schöne, entspannende Vibe. Die Lage ist super bequem aucheasy zu gehen Haram und nahe allem, was Sie brauchen. Was wirklich herauskam war der Service. Das Personal war schnell, hilfsbereit, und machte den ganzen Aufenthalt reibungslos und ohne Probleme. Sicherlich eine solide Wahl, wenn Sie nach etwas erschwingliches suchen, ohne aufgeben Komfort.

This hotel was supposed to be 3.5 kilometres in a straight line to Masjid Al nabawi but due to road works we ended up travelling 9 km each way. The hotel itself is a converted apartment building that turned into Suites probably because the owner couldn't sell the apartments due to the area not close to any business centres or shopping malls. Prices were reasonable and the staff was friendly and communication is great No USB charging ports provided anywhere including lounge or bedrooms. No towels or any cleaning supplies provided to keep this little apartment clean. Bathroom floors were extremely slippery to the level I would call dangerous. Bathroom fittings, kitchen ,bedrooms and all furniture in living area also large and comfortable , but we booked for six beds they only provided us 5 beds plus a thin single mattress , which was a great disappointment. But for us, the biggest drawback was that it's too far from Masjid Al nabawi and not suitable even at low prices. I would recommend paying more to be closer to Masjid Al nabawi there are plenty of options within 15-20 minutes walk at good price, but if your reason to stay in Madina is not Masjid Al nabawi, then this hotel suite is okay, just consider all the notes I made above.

The hotel’s location near the Prophet’s Mosque is excellent, making it convenient for visitors. However, the overall experience was disappointing. Rooms felt outdated, cleanliness was lacking, and staff were slow to respond to requests. Parking is free .While the location is a big plus, the service and facilities need significant improvement.

Disappointing Experience – Room Not Reserved Despite Confirmed Booking I booked two rooms, each with a king-size bed, for two couples. Before arriving, I called the hotel and informed them that I would arrive late, around 1:00 AM or possibly a little later. The hotel staff confirmed that my booking was secure and told me there was no issue with the late arrival, so I was reassured. However, when I finally arrived, I was told that my rooms had been given to other guests. I explained that I had a confirmed booking and had also called the hotel in advance to inform them of my late arrival. The staff then said the rooms were given away because I had not paid in advance. I was never asked to make an advance payment, nor was I informed that my booking would be cancelled without payment. Eventually, they provided an apartment with twin rooms instead. It had only one king-size bed, while the other room had single beds, which was not what I had originally booked. Despite this downgrade/change, I was charged the same amount as my original booking. Overall, I am not satisfied with the service or the way my reservation was handled. If the hotel could not hold the rooms without advance payment, they should have clearly informed me when I called. Giving confirmed rooms to other guests after confirming my late arrival is very disappointing and unprofessional.
