FFiona4everDie Lage ist in der Nähe der U-Bahn, aber die Fahrt mit dem Aufzug ist sehr mühsam. Man muss auf beiden Seiten unterschiedliche Aufzüge benutzen, von der U-Bahn bis zur Rezeption im 24. Stock, und dann ein kurzes Stück von der Rezeption nach hinten laufen und fahren Sie mit dem Aufzug zum Zimmer.
Das unterirdische Einkaufszentrum wird am 23. April eröffnet, sodass Sie vom Ausgang der U-Bahn-Station nicht direkt zum Hotel gelangen können, sondern einen Umweg nehmen müssen.
Der Raum ist groß genug und die Aussicht ist wunderschön. Der Fokus liegt nur auf Design, aber nicht auf Praktikabilität. Das ist großartig. Für den Preis, zu dem ich übernachtet habe, war es in Ordnung. Wir haben kein Frühstück bestellt und fanden es praktisch, draußen zu essen.

GGastnutzerThis hotel has an excellent location — right in front of Hisayaodori Subway Station Exit 4, which made getting around extremely convenient. There’s also a 7-Eleven just next door, and right behind the hotel is a lively district filled with restaurants, cafés, bars, supermarkets, and malls. It connects directly to Oasis and Sakae, so everything is within easy walking distance.
I chose a shower-only room since I rarely use a bathtub. The sink being located outside the bathroom was actually a plus for me, as it provided better lighting for makeup. The room also had a large window, which made the space feel more open and comfortable.
One of the main reasons I didn’t use the shower much is because the hotel has a really nice public bath. It’s very comfortable, with both indoor and semi-outdoor areas. I absolutely loved this facility — it was definitely one of the highlights of my stay.
The hotel also collaborates with a luggage courier service that can send your suitcase to a building next to Nagoya Station (not directly inside the station), which is very convenient.
I booked a room with breakfast, and although the selection was simple, everything tasted really good. There were real, hearty dishes, soup, some Western options, as well as desserts, coffee, and tea — all complete and very comforting. Some of the menu items also changed daily, which I really appreciated. I was very happy with the food overall.
The lobby is beautiful, with high ceilings, large windows, and very comfortable sofas. The staff were generally helpful, but I did encounter one issue. Aside from 2 staff members (who I believe may have been of Indian descent), the Japanese staff did not speak English. While I understand this can happen, I think having basic English skills would be very helpful, especially since this hotel accommodates many international guests.
When I asked about the luggage courier service, I felt like I was being passed around between staff. Another staff member came out to assist, but unfortunately, they also did not speak English and did not attempt to use a translation app. Instead, they tried to explain using pen and paper, which made the situation quite confusing. I felt there was very little effort to communicate clearly, which was a bit frustrating.
Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It has great facilities and an unbeatable location. I hope the communication aspect can be improved, as I would definitely stay here again when visiting Nagoya. Thank you!

AANDREAS NUR JAHJADas Comfort Inn Nagoya Sakae war eine feste Wahl für unser erstes Hotel in Japan. Das Zimmer war kompakt, wie in Japan erwartet, aber mit Gedanken und gut ausgelegt, so dass es komfortabel statt krampfig. Das Bett war bequem mit sauberen, frischen Linen; es gab jedoch nur einen Kissen pro Person und es war ziemlich dünn. Die Toilettenkugel war auch etwas kleiner als das, was einige Reisende verwendet werden könnten. Das Gesamtdesign fühlte sich modern und ruhig, und wir schätzten den kleinen runden Tisch mit zwei Stühlen, das für ein schnelles Essen oder die Planung des Tages nützlich war. Das Arbeitsbereich war praktisch und gut organisiert, mit wesentlichen Elementen wie Kessel, Haartrockner und ein kleines Kühlschrank gut weggetaucht. Das Bad, während kompakt, war spotless und hatte einen guten Wasserdruck. Insgesamt bietet das Comfort Inn Nagoya Sakae einen sauberen, effizienten und komfortablen Aufenthaltan hervorragende Basis für die Erforschung Nagoya ohne unnötige Frälle.

- The hotel is perfectly situated right above a shopping mall and close to train stations. You can access everything you need just by taking the elevator down!
- It offers easy travel to nearby attractions such as Gero's oden and Shirakawa-go, making it a great base for exploring the countryside.
Amenities
- The staff is incredibly helpful, especially when it comes to luggage storage before and after your stay.
- The views from the hotel are spectacular, particularly from the higher floors.

This hotel's biggest advantage is undoubtedly its prime location – it's just a short walk from Kanayama Station, making travel around the area extremely convenient.
However, there are significant areas that need improvement. The room cleanliness was disappointing, with noticeable amounts of hair left on the toilet walls, which suggests inadequate cleaning protocols. Additionally, communication with staff proved to be quite difficult, creating frustration when trying to address concerns or ask for assistance.

Thoughtful Amenities
The welcome ice cream for my sons was a delightful surprise. It was a thoughtful gesture that made them feel special and added to our overall positive experience.
Duty Manager Mr. Andei Ho
One standout moment of our visit was when Mr. Andei Ho, the Duty Manager, came to assist us during one of our evenings at the hotel. Being a Hongkonger himself, he made us feel right at home. When we returned from a day out and needed to store some belongings at the concierge, Mr. Andei approached us and warmly communicated in Cantonese. His friendly demeanor and willingness to help truly made us feel welcomed.
Proactive Assistance
After our check-out, Mr. Andei noticed us trying to call an Uber in the lobby and proactively offered to help by calling a taxi instead. Given that we had too much luggage, he went above and beyond by marking the pick-up and drop-off locations for us at the Airport Express Station, ensuring a smooth departure. One day, he saw us waiting outside for a taxi and proactively asked a colleague to come over and see if we needed help calling a taxi.
Housekeeping
I would also like to commend the housekeeping team for their outstanding work. They kept our room impeccably clean and tidy throughout our stay, greatly contributing to our comfort.

VVinnie_OngRoom price includes breakfast, while the options are limited, the taste and quality is good. Love the curry and it's soft scrambled egg. Room size I booked is typical Japanese business hotel size, which is compact. Location is like 5-10 mins to Nagoya station, 5 mins to Aeon Mall, and 15 mins to Toyota Commemorative Museum (all in walking distance). Also they have supplementary coffee and soft drinks throughout the day at the breakfast hall until 11pm. You can heat up your food as there is a microwave there. A good hangout place with friends for night snack before hitting the bed.

GGastnutzerLocation wise it’s around 8 minutes walk to the nearest metro. Wouldn’t say far but definitely not near either. Rating I would give is 3.8/5. Not exactly at the most bustling district but there’s this main shopping district - Osu which is within walkable distance! Do head to take a look!
Else everything is definitely satisfactory. I love the breakfast buffet (served 6am to 9am) everyday. Selection of proteins is not bad. Free flow eggs… The menu differs slightly everyday.
Hot bath from 630am - 4:00pm and at evenings till the midnight. Feels great! (Didn’t take pics due other users’ privacy) It’s empty and there’s no one else whenever I went, so it feels exactly like a private space to relax.
Housekeepers are super friendly too. Toiletries are placed at the public areas in front of the receptionist. Do remember to take before you set into the hotel!

その他はすべて間違いなく満足です。私は毎日の朝食ビュッフェ (午前 6 時から午前 9 時まで) が大好きです。タンパク質の品揃えも悪くありません。卵のフリーフロー... メニューは毎日少しずつ異なります。
午前 6 時 30 分から午後 4 時まで、夕方から深夜まで温浴を楽しめます。最高です! (他のユーザーのプライバシーのため写真は撮っていません) いつ行っても空いていて誰もいなかったので、まさにプライベートな空間でリラックスしているような気分です。
ハウスキーパーもとてもフレンドリーです。トイレタリーは受付の前の公共エリアに置いてあります。ホテルに入る前に忘れずに持っていってください。
日本での良い経験になります。

GGastnutzerEs war eine wirklich interessante Erfahrung. Es erinnerte mich an ein altmodisches chinesisches Gästehaus oder ein Studentenwohnheim im Hongkong-Stil. Es gab ein Gemeinschaftsbad, aber kein WLAN im Obergeschoss. Man musste nur den Schlüssel ins Schloss stecken, wenn man das Zimmer verließ. Es gab kein Auschecken; die Gäste, die eincheckten, waren alles ältere Damen, was ich in anderen Hotels nicht sehe. Aber es war sehr sauber. Die Bettwäsche war Einwegwäsche und roch nicht, was viel besser war als in China. Es gab Steckdosen. Ich bin am nächsten Morgen früh abgereist, da ich ausgeschlafen hatte, es war also recht komfortabel. Das Gebäude hatte eine Art Luftschutzbunker, was ziemlich interessant war.
