Sehr atmosphärisch und gemütlich ryokan. Traditionelle Stilzimmer und majestätische Bergblick sind atemberaubend. Das Essen ist fantastisch, Sie essen in Frieden und auch mit unbegrenzten Mengen an Getränken für 90 Minuten. Es gibt private und gemeinsame (Männer/Frauen) Badezimmer. Die Wassertemperatur ist komfortabel und magisch entfernen Sie Ihre Müdigkeit. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfreich, sie verwendeten den Übersetzer, um mir alles zu erklären. Ich wurde mit dem Shuttlebus bei der Ein- und Auscheckung auf der nahe gelegenen Station (Kawaryo Onsen Station) ausgestattet. Dieser Ort ist perfekt, wenn Sie von der Stadt-Bustle entsorgen und Ihre Gedanken zu reinigen. In der Nähe konbini ist 1 Stunde zu Fuß (oder 15 Minuten auf dem Auto) so empfehle ich Ihnen, Ihre Lieferungen im Voraus zu lagern, wenn Sie irgendwelche brauchen.

Unser Übernachtung in diesem Hotel in Kusatsu war einfach das beste, was wir in Japan erlebt haben. Wir kamen ein wenig früh und wir konnten vor 3 anmelden, da es ein Zimmer zur Verfügung stand. Der Service war ausgezeichnet, und das Zimmer war geräumig, komplett mit allen Einrichtungen, die wir brauchten. Obwohl die Dusche in den Untergeschoss im privaten Wachsen gelegen war, war es nie besetzt, und ich hatte das Wachsen alle für mich. Das Hotel bietet uns auch Yukatas, und wir haben einen schönen traditionellen Kontakt zu unserem Aufenthalt. Das Frühstück wurde morgens in unserem Zimmer serviert, und das Personal hat unsere Anfrage nach einer Änderung der Frühstückszeit genießend begegnen, da wir einen Onsen besuchen wollten, der um 9 Uhr eröffnet wurde. Das Hotel war unglaublich sauber und wir schliefen wie Babys die Nacht. Ich möchte hier beim nächsten Besuch von Grassland nochmal bleiben. Das ist ein sehr guter Ort, danke 😊❤️

A relax and nice view in Kusatsu. The hotel is located a bit far from bus terminal. However, there is a free shuttle bus service which connected with bus service. I strongly encourage the private onsen package where we can taste three different type of onsen in the hotel. My platinum ring changed colour, may be due to the acidity of onsen water😂. The dinner and breakfast inspired and it is good for family trip with a number of accessible service for elderly with physically limitations.

Das war mein erstes und einziges Aufenthalt in einem ryokan, so habe ich nicht viel zu vergleichen. Ich habe diese Unterkunft wegen der Katzen und gute Bewertungen auf dem Essen gewählt. Die Katzen waren wirklich süß und ich genossen, mit ihnen zu spielen. Ich habe 2 Katzen von mir, so war es wirklich schön. Das Essen war so schön und lecker - die Pilzsuppe am Abendessen war erstaunlich. Ich genossen es wirklich. Die privaten Badezimmer waren sehr bequem und 24 Stunden offen. Ich dachte, die Einrichtungen waren sauber und sehr angenehm. Die Lage war sehr nahe dem Zentrum und einen schnellen Spaziergang zu allen wichtigen Orten einschließlich der Busbahnhof. Der einzige Kommentar, den ich heute Morgen habe, war, dass jemand rauchte und der Geruch ****** in die 2. Etage Halle kam, so dass vielleicht mehr Aufmerksamkeit sollte, um sicherzustellen, dass der Rauch draußen bleibt. Traditiona Japanese-style Ryokan that has been renovated. But still lacks something, like a heating system, so heaters have to be placed throughout the building. Location near Kusatsu onsen's landmark. The staff are polite and very very good service (Omotenashi). Breakfast is good but a bit early (end at 9am). Onsen is gorgeous. The room is spacious and bright. Pillowcase and futon sheets need more cleanliness. No WiFi signal in the room, have to go to the lobby.

An excellent place to stay, even if just overnight. The hotel was easy to get to, with the shuttle bus running on a tight schedule. The staff were very attentive, friendly, and welcoming without feeling overbearing and were easily able to meet all our needs. The hot springs were very accessible and very romantic, and excellent in the snow. The food was amazing, with the service again being excellent, and the complimentary ice cream was very yummy. Will be easily considering staying again should I return to Japan. 11/10.

We had a wonderful stay at Urakusatsu Tou, a brand-new hotel that truly exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly escorted by the staff. Although parking was allocated at a private outdoor parking area, the hotel thoughtfully provided an escort service, making the process very smooth and comfortable. The room was spacious and beautifully designed. Communication was easy as the receptionist spoke fluent English. The hotel also provided pajamas and daily clothing, which was a lovely and convenient touch. The onsen experience was outstanding—definitely one of the best we’ve ever had. You can immediately feel your skin becoming smooth after soaking, which made each visit incredibly relaxing. We stayed for three nights with both breakfast and dinner included. Meals were served à la carte, and the menu changed daily, surprising us every time. The food was delicious and very filling—we were completely satisfied after every meal. That said, there are a few areas we hope the hotel could improve: • During winter, the room felt quite cold as the air-conditioning heater did not function properly and was unable to warm up the room. • Breakfast hours could be extended a little later for guests who prefer a more relaxed morning. • Providing a choice of pillows would further improve sleeping comfort. • The blue indicator light on the room’s control panel remains very bright even when all lights are turned off, which can be a bit distracting at night. Overall, this hotel offers excellent service, comfort, and an unforgettable onsen and dining experience. Highly recommended, and we believe it will be even better with these small improvements.

The level of unprofessionalism is astounding. 1. Intrusive Wake-Up Call: On the second day, we were jolted awake at 9:00 AM by a phone call from the front desk just to ”confirm” our dinner time. There is absolutely no excuse for disturbing a guest's sleep for such a trivial matter, especially when a simple note under the door or a message on the phone system would suffice. 2. Dinner Reservation Fiasco: We had a confirmed reservation for the 9:00 PM dinner slot. When we arrived at the restaurant on time, we were rudely told we only had 15 minutes left to eat because the restaurant was closing. Why offer a 9:00 PM slot if you intend to close 15 minutes later? Their excuse was that they ”tried to call” to move us to a 7:30 PM slot. This is a lie—we were in our room all day and never received any call or message. Their poor internal communication and lack of a reliable system ruined our evening. 3. Sneaky Late Check-Out Fee: The hotel failed to inform us of the checkout time or the fees for late checkout. We were just 15 minutes late (at 10:15 AM), and they charged us 3,000 yen on the spot. This predatory fee was not mentioned during check-in, nor was it clearly stated in any visible policy. It feels like a scam to squeeze more money out of guests. 4. Useless Luggage Storage: After checkout, we simply wanted to store our luggage for a few hours before leaving town. They told us we had to pick it up by 12:00 PM noon. What is the point of offering ”storage” if it is only for an hour or two? This is an inconvenience, not a service. Overall, this hotel is run by people who seem to care more about collecting fees than providing hospitality. The hotel is very popular among the Japanese traveller. Lots of Japanese with very limited foreign traveller. The communication can be a bit difficult at the hotel. The room were cleaned but there is limitation of daily cleaning of the room. They only take trash out and change towels. The policy is to clean the room every 4 days. When the hotel is fully occupied, there is a problem with the scarcity of hot water. We have to wait for hot water to be reproducing 2 out of 3 nights we stayed. The buffet is very crowded and the food are pretty much the same for all 3 nights we stayed for both breakfast and dinner. Our highlights are the crab and the beef station for dinner and the live onigiri station for breakfast.

位置有点远在山顶，自駕上去有積雪但路还是可以的。傳统日式榻榻米很干淨，房间只有座厕和洗面盘，沒有浴室，洗澡必须去大堂那个大浴堂，这个有点不方便，最大问題是泡温泉要走出酒店步行100米左右去泡，外面天气冷又黑路又滑，如果有老人家和小孩真不建議，一泊兩食那晚是自助餐，是我在日本最难吃的歺厅，早上八点多起来梳洗准备去吃早歺，去到歺厅沒有开，原来9:00已结束，我未试过酒店早歺9:00就完了，只能驾车下山自己找地方吃，地方是好的，風景很美但真的不会再去
