RRina LamsalVery nice property for layback family vacation. We wanted to escape the crowd during the holidays and Kumarakom was the right choice.
Staff is very helpful. Breakfast and lunch were amazing! Kerala home cooked food.
The only thing we find not convenient were no hot water for the shower and no fridge in the room. Otherwise place is very nice for couple of days.

GGastnutzerThis was undoubtedly the best day/night spent in kerala. One of the best houseboats in the backwater. Staying at kumarakom and availing aqua jumbo was a super decision as not too many boats start from there and the cruise is excellent with land views. The house boat was spacious, each bedroom was nicely done up and the chef, ravi made food better than a hotel cook. Made a trip to the fish market, took a canal cruise and the chef made some delicious snacks with the fresh catch. I would definitely recommend travellers to try the aqua group.

GGastnutzerWe had two nights stay at picturesque ILLKKALAM LAKESIDE COTTAGE right on the banks of the lake and were. pleasantly surprised as the nature unfolded before us.
Good location with good facilities and access to all amenities surrounded by organic farm , nature at its best.
Good service through out and personalised care by friendly staff.
Freshly cooked homemade tasty food served to your room and relax in front of the room looking over the lake with boats passing by and beautiful sunset views.
The best part was the relaxed private sunset boat ride on the lake for two of us with stunning views starting right in front of our cottage.
Susan Salin and team have done a wonderful job in making avail of this wonderful property for fortunate few like us.
Special thanks to Asha and Arjun who were always helpful and giving us information of local tours and cultures. Not to forget those amazing cooks who cooked meals as per our taste
We will definitely going to return and recommend to our friends to visit ILLKKALAM LAKESIDE COTTAGES

GGastnutzerI had a wonderful stay at Kumarakom Park Resort. The ambiance was serene and the entire property was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The staff were very hospitable and made us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived — the security personnel even assisted with our luggage from the vehicle to the reception. On request, we were given a beautiful room with a pool view, and the pool itself was clean and inviting. Housekeeping responded promptly when we requested floor cleaning, which was much appreciated. The staff also guided us on nearby places to visit, and even the security team was informative and courteous. Overall, the service, attention to detail, and warm hospitality truly stood out. I would highly recommend this place for a peaceful and pleasant stay.
