Hotels in Medan mit Parkplatz

Booked 2 rooms for 4 guests via trip.com with an additional request for rooms with a connecting door. In the trip.com app, we intentionally correctly filled all the guest details for each rooms. Upon checkin, the hotel’s front desk said they cant accommodate the connecting room request because they say it was booked under different names. Sadly they used this opportunity to argue with us, printing out in front of ourselves with their printer on the front desk: 2 separate reservations under different names (Maybe since we intentionally filled those guest names correctly? But the contact number and email is still the same, no?). From it we briefly saw all details like the 2 different reservations numbers they used as the crucial evidence, and how our booking was routed through ******* (From this detail one could argue the request was lost through the flawed trip.com system. Yet the hotel could’ve investigated and be more proactive after seeing a reservation for one room asking for connecting doors??). I thought hotel guests checking in at night only wanted rest, not attending trial??? Although to be fair in the end they got us 2 connecting rooms, albeit at a low floor (after the unnecessary bargaining). They required Rp200K as deposit. Room was clean, with a very useful Korean brand smart tv. Functional hair dryer, good lighting, with an in-room safe, and a small fridge/chiller. Breakfast could’ve been better, but there’s a lot of cafes and restaurants within walking distance. We got valet parking but didn’t pay for it, was it complimentary because of the limited parking space this hotel has, or did we get it as compensation/goodwill, we never knew (this was not explained at check in).

Hotel is well appointed and located. Service is acceptable but we had to wait more than half an hour to check in. On top of that, we were not given the 5 twin rooms we booked and confirmed. We had to settle for 1 kingsize bedded room which was not what we asked for but I had to take the room. This is not expected of a 5 star Marriot hotel. We had made our booking through Trip.com nearly 2 months before our travel date so there is no reason why we could not get our 5 twin rooms when it was confirmed by the hotel. I was very upset but could not wait any longer to check in as we were all very tired. The Receptionist said the hotel was very full but not to be impolite, that is not the customer's problem. Your organisation needs to pull up their socks on delivering what was confirmed without making excuses . To make things worse, when we asked for extension of check out to 2pm, we were flatly refused. They did not even offer to extend 1 or 2 rooms to 2pm although we were a group of 5 rooms that stayed 3 nights in your hotel. We all checked out by 11.30am. I wish I could have had nice things to say about the hospitality and thoughtfulness of the hotel policy but sorry, apart from smiling staff, tgere is nothing more complimentary I can say.

Hotel Staff is very accommodating, ensuring seamless transition from the airport to our hotel room. Shout out to Ms/Mrs Emma Simanjuntak for arranging all of it. 10/10 👍

The room was comfortable overall, but I was disappointed to find that one of the towels had visible stains on it. Towels should be clean and spotless for every guest. Housekeeping should inspect them more carefully and replace any stained towels before the room is assigned. I hope the hotel improves its quality control in this area. If you’d like, I can also  make it more concise,  more formal, or  more strongly worded.

This is my second stay in this hotel. I booked again as my previous experience was good. Reception staff is good and cooperative. Although, I had to face a couple problems which had been resolved, but it was good. The food is very tasty and comperatively reasonable. I would prefer to book again if I happen to come again to Medan.

In einer Nacht wurde ich 4 Mal vom Eisen des Kronleuchters mit der Glühbirne getroffen. Wie oft kam es beim Hin- und Hergehen hinein und hinaus zu keinem Service oder keiner Erklärung von der Sicherheit. Einmal war es so, als sie zuerst die Augen zusammenkniffen und dann auf die Autobahn wollten. Es gab keine Sicherheitsaufsicht, die mich hineinwollte, aber manchmal war da, manchmal nicht. Für diejenigen, die neu im Autofahren sind, wird empfohlen, ein Taxi zu nehmen, anstatt ein Auto mitzubringen. Die Zufahrt ist sehr schwierig, insbesondere die Verkehrsbedingungen und die ***a-Fahrer aus Medan, da sich die Zufahrt zu diesem Hotel direkt an der Tekongan befindet. Während meiner Zeit dort hinein und hinaus, wie oft ist es passiert? 3 Mal wäre ich fast verunglückt. 1 Mal hätte ich fast mein Auto gesehen.

Nettes und hilfsbereites Personal im Hotel. Bei uns kam Wasser von der Decke und innerhalb von 15 Minuten kam jemand, um es zu reparieren. Wir bekamen ein Upgrade in die nächsthöhere Kategorie, da das gebuchte Zimmer bereits belegt war. Für ein 4-Sterne-Hotel hatten wir etwas mehr Sauberkeit erwartet, aber es war nicht offensichtlich schmutzig. Das Zimmer war schön und geräumig.

A place that has passed its prime...A decent place for the price paid. No complaints about that.. Great superb location to everywhere.. between 2 hospitals ...and walkaway from malls.. still recommend to take a trike or grab a car . About the hotel... Receptionists were friendly and attentive 2 last elevator to reach floor Rooms are super spacious a king and a twin Have 2 toilets... So no need to scream and shout for a spot But sad thing... Place is poorly maintained Pillows past their shelf life. Toilet floor are slimy... It's a dry toilet I know but cleaning it with water and the smell.. uhh don't get me to start.. sewer smell plus pee smell.. uhhh not a fan.. have to buy moth ball and fresher to make it smell good House keeping... Shall not say much.. not the best. Don't know if they sweep or mop the floors .. So if location is a thing.. a good place to stay if u are not fussy. A decent place that's pasted it's prime

Affordable basic room but clean enough ( some ants though). Location is central within 20min walking radius of major malls ( Plaza Medan Fair/Sun/Cambridge), Damri airport bus ( in front of Plaza Medan Fair), family massage/reflexology outlets (Jl.Orion), and the popular medan cakes outlets eg ”bika ambon” (Zulaikha)/”bolu” (Meranti). Car park is available with security. However, the complimentary breakfast is only set without selection option.
